Well she (and her... others) are secreted directly from the goop that makes up the "Director" (which seems to be like a giant Jellyfish). So... I think her entire body is basically nanite compute/memory/io nodes in a viscous suspension? So it since she is not robotic in nature, makes sense that she has no seams.

The interaction between Yay and Moray is going surprisingly well for Moray because she doesn't know to be insulted and Yay probably that as some sort of power move. Like, for a normal person Yay could threaten them when they jab back at Yay's obnoxiousness, but Moray won't give them an in.
