I suspect she will be fine, mainly because if she removes her deely-bobber she loses some functions. If she was reliant on the Director I would expect that to mean her processes would be remote through them, and if that acted as an antenna I would expect her to lose a lot more functions. That's not counting the possibility of a self destruct if she leaves/is taken to prevent the loss of proprietary technology.
