Makes me wonder if, being trans, Claire purposely models herself after her mother as her ‘original model’ of what a woman looks like. I've never had the chance to meet our host, but I once annoyed Zach "SMBC" Weinersmith at a con. (Not on purpose, I was just trying to make a joke.) I know quite a few more prose writers. True but not important story: Neil Gaiman was the first person to follow me on Mastodon. (I also annoyed Brandon Sanderson at a con once, but I had the chance to apologize later and he was very cool.)
