This is the download page
A description of what is included in the update with pictures is here
The basic description of the mod itself is here
SHORT SUMMARY:
You don't need to read all this big manual if you just want to install the whole mod. You just need to go straight to the end, where it says "INSTALLING THE MOD"
It is made for those who want to combine our mod with other culinary mods, which change EA files or install only part of the mod, so here are detailed explanations about what is included in each of the files.
Here you can find answers to the most popular problems with the mod
FULL DESCRIPTION OF THE FILES๐:
Please, before writing that something is not working, make sure that you have read everything and installed the mod correctly!
๐๐ปIf the previous version of the mod was installed, you need to completely remove it and clean the game cache
How to clean the cache: you can delete folders named "cachestr" and "onlinethumbnailcache", as well as the file "localthumbcache"
๐๐ปDownload the zip-file and unzip it to your "Mods" folder
It will look like this๐
As you can see - the files NO longer contain Script files, they will need to be downloaded separately. They are updated extremely rarely, it will be enough for you to download them once and update only our culinary mod if necessary. For example, the Injector was updated once in the last 2 years and worked perfectly!
๐"Any Ingredient" Cooking Tags Resource - contains only tags for products, language strings and nothing else. It does not contain any mod. This is done for the convenience of users so that you can use the products of different authors together and all of them are counted in the recipes. For example, you can install only our mod, this resource and the author's products that contain these tags and they will be taken into account in the recipes all together.
At the moment, known authors who use these tags: SrslySims, KingZace, Icemunmun, Oni, Robin, LittlBowBub, Amellce
๐XML INJECTOR - with it, new menus are added to EA objects, while not conflicting with other mods that do the same, and also reduces the number of Script files in your folders, allowing you to have only one injector. In our mod, it is used to add Grocery Delivery and a New menu for the refrigerator, while not conflicting with other mods
P.S. The file "Xml Injector_Test_v4" can be deleted immediately after installation - it was created only to check the script's operability
DESCRIPTION OF THE MOD FILES:
๐File "[SS] RealisticCookingMod_MAIN" it is required (it contains all our products, their settings, language strings, as well as delivery, all other files can be left or deleted if you do not need them. It is compatible with ANY mod
๐File "[SS] RealisticCookingMod NEW MENU" it contains only our New menu for the refrigerator, it is compatible with ANY other mod, as well as those that change the menu of the EA refrigerator. You can even install it separately from our mod - it will work if you have a Scumbumbo Injector installed.
๐Folder "[SS] EA Override (Optional)" contains modified EA files. We recommend using it with our mod, but it's not necessary, especially if you use other mods that change the same files.
๐Folder "[SS] EA Override Ingredients_Additions" it contains changes in prices for fish, vegetables, fruits and other EA products, as well as tags so that some of the EA products are also counted in our recipes
๐Folder "[SS] EA Override Recipes_Additions" contains modified EA recipes from various add-ons Sims 4 for our products. This is the most preferred file to use with our mod
๐File "[SS] EA Override Menu_BG" changes the menu for the EA refrigerator, stove and other small household appliances for the kitchen. It is made to have a more minimalistic look (hide some menus or put in debug, some just lower or increase the priority of display), as well as additional menus for compatibility with Simple Life (for example, the game does not have a menu of quick snacks, popcorn for Simple life and some others- this file adds them)
P.S. You will not need the "sims4me_fridgeinventorytweak" mod, since this menu already includes an increase in priority for the "Open", "Get Leftovers" and "Dish empty plates" buttons
Instructions for RCM compatibility with SCCO here
INSTALLING THE MOD๐:
๐๐ปDownload the zip-file and unzip it to your "Mods" folder
๐๐ปDownload "Any Ingredient" Cooking Tags Resource and unpack to your "Mods" folder
๐๐ปDownload XML Injector ะพั SCUMBUMBO and unpack to your "Mods" folder
(make sure you have an updated version - the file has been updated to game version 1.90)
๐๐ปIn two folders named "EA Override xx_Additions", delete those game add-ons that you do not have. They now have a name to make it easier for you to find them. If you have all the Sims 4 add-ons, you don't need to delete anything
As a result, it may look like this๐
You can choose for yourself other folders where to place files. The most important thing is that the files ".ts4script" were installed either in the main folder "Mods", or in a maximum of 1 subfolder
KNOWN NON-COMPATIBILITY:
NO! Except those described above in this post
SHORT SUMMARY:
All files except those in folder "[SS] EA Override (Optional)" are compatible with any other mods! There are enough of them to make the mod work. At the same time, in order to get all the full functions, it is recommended to use all the files
You need to download our mod and 2 script files separately (it only needs to be done once), it may seem a bit complicated, but in fact it is this separation that makes our mod compatible with a lot of other mods and gives you the opportunity to use more cooking mods together at the same time!
