I'm re-watching this and seeing Travis' little smile (34:38) when Taylor is talking about being surprised and how rewarding when you really get someone is so sweet knowing he was probably thinking at that moment how he was gonna be surprising her right after they were done !! 😍❤️

As someone who grew up with Selena Gomez, I have to disagree! She’s more of an actress but I feel like she also had some huge hits in music. Also her Rare album literally helped me through a break up. 🥲 But I feel like they are so different .

Pop Tarts from the Kellogg's Company were an actual breakfast in America. in the 1960's. Novel and beloved because, yes, they are a fruit tart that you put in the toaster.....that POP up. Years later, they were still iconic, yet lost popularity because people realized (along with other sugary breakfast cereals) that Pop Tarts were NOT HEALTHY. THEN........people started making healthy pop tarts, which to this today you can still find in some bakeries and what Taylor is talking about. Kelloggs POP TARTS, however, will always be iconic and can still be found in grocery stores.

Jason’s “I lie to my kids so they’ll become critical thinkers” is SO Robin coded! You look ridiculous And you have no idea Buried down deep and out of your reach, the secret we all vowed to keep it, from you, In sweetness… I’m one of those weirdos who thinks the song Robin is partially directed towards her fans, but I also completely respect that y’all don’t like the “Taylor swift is lying to us” idea. That makes it seem like she’s doing something intentionally malicious. We should believe her when she says she’s not gonna do a double drop! What I think is that because Taylor is a public figure, she probably thinks a lot about maintaining a non toxic, non invasive relationship with her fans. Taylor writing letters to Emily and Bonny proves that she cares about preserving a strong relationship with her fans, and is willing to make connections with the fans she believes are kind and genuine like y’all are! But Taylor uses fishbowl imagery in her music videos way too often for me not to wonder if she’s often impacted by feeling like her life is up for constant scrutiny and commentary, especially from fans who don’t respect her boundaries! For me this ties to the anti hero music video, the funeral scene where the different siblings are arguing; the way Taylor’s fanbase often argues about what messages the imagery and symbolism she invokes in her art are conveying. And with showgirl Taylor in the anti hero MV coming over and being toxic af to poet Taylor, it reads to me like Taylor could be implying that she feels like the puppet-master of her own public persona. Pinocchio vibes. Strings tied to levers, slowed down clocks tethered, all this SHOWMANSHIP To keep it, for you, In sweetness…. She IS driving this ship, and it must be hard for her not to feel like she might disappoint us (I see right through me, who could stay, etc), even though we all know that her true fans WILL stay. Who knows, maybe I’m totally wrong about everything! There are plenty of people saying they think Wood is gonna be abt dick, and that would be cool too. I love analyzing Taylor’s work for the literary body of work that it is, but I also adore her glitter gel pen game. Since Taylor’s work ties into her personal life so heavily, sometimes we as fans can be completely wrong! As Bonny said, Taylor is driving the ship at the end of the day, and it’s good for her to have boundaries with us, i.e., “I don’t leave Easter eggs abt my personal life.” Great video as always girls, I hope you don’t ever see my long crazy comments as criticism towards yall, I just enjoy having a place to spew all my Taylor thoughts HAHA!
