Game Diary: 010
🕑 Added 2025-05-23 22:36:52 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I've been hard at work making the eating event and refining how gaining weight will work. Plus, I've been brain storming with our artist about how the new servant will function and what she'll be like. So, lets get right into what I've been working on.
So, the first thing I've been working on is the events for eating in your room by yourself. Right now there are two events per option you have for meal size, so that makes 22 total, but all 10 of Gabriela's events have two out comes, so really its more like 32 events planned so far. Of those planned I've completed 7, 6 of which I've done today. Beyond just writing for events there was quite a bit of coding that has gone into making these work and to balance them. I balanced them by reducing weigh gain at the start of the game by 75% what it was in the old game. You can now also game weights like 150.24. I also made it impossible to keep reloading the page/game in order to farm for events.
Now, to make up for the loss in ability to gain weight early on I made it possible to stretch out your stomach over time by over eating allowing you to eat more and then gain more. The max gain (at the moment) is 0.03 per day with the default value starting 1.25. Your stomach can also shrink if you stop stuffing yourself everyday, it can shrink by a max of 0.01 per day. Another thing I changed was how many hours are in a day. In the old game it was 5, it's now 10 with more specific times through out the day.
Also, here is the final version of the new dwarf servant:
Anyways, that's it for now. I'll make another post soon!
