Sebby's New Life - Chapter 9
🕑 Added 2023-09-20 12:00:02 +0000 UTCSebastian stared out of the stroller nervously as he was pushed through the store, finding himself feeling a bit jealous of Hallie, getting to toddle along beside their 'parents' while he was stuck in there, feeling like he was on display. Of course, knowing why that was happening did dull his envy quite a bit, even if he knew that, inevitably, he would be doing the same thing again, and again, and again, unless he found some way to escape.
They passed quite a few other people, and he did find himself hoping, at first, that one of them would realize he didn't belong here, that they would offer to help him, but it didn't take long for him to recognize that this was the wrong place to hope for any of that. Any other littles he saw were all on baby leashes or reins, or in strollers themselves, meek and well-behaved... Or being scolded, or threatened with time-out, or even being outright spanked, right there in public, their diapers tugged down as their backsides were smacked and they wailed about how sorry they were.
Not that they would have likely been able to do anything anyway. What little would openly defy a pair of Amazons for the sake of a stranger, especially one so clearly already under their control? It seemed even less realistic to hope for here than at the airport, since it was less crowded, easier for the Amazons to spot a troublemaker approaching... Though, there also weren't security officers hanging around here, certain to side with the Amazons and assist them with catching Sebby and his savior, whoever that might be, if they could somehow manage to free him.
No little brave enough to do that would be caught dead in this store, however. And no Amazon was going to side with him. If they didn't have a little of their own with them - or, sometimes, even if they did - they might stop and smile down at him, giving him a wave, telling his Mommy and Daddy how cute he was. If they were with their littles, they'd point out, "See how well-behaved he is? Why can't you be more like him?"
He groaned into his paci, frustrated and embarrassed about being used as an example when he couldn't defend himself, didn't really have any choice in the matter. Of course he was well-behaved... He was trapped in this stroller! What could he possibly do?!
Even if he wasn't though, the same question applied. The Amazons would definitely have him in baby reins like Hallie, would have a firm grip on him to keep him from running off. And seeing how freely other littles were being disciplined here, he probably wouldn't have the guts to see if the couple would do the same to him if he tried it.
"Here we are!" the woman declared, the stroller stopping in front of the clothing section. "Oh, how exciting! Isn't this nice, Sebby? You get to pick out a whole new wardrobe!"
Sebastian squirmed in the stroller, shaking his head. He didn't want a new wardrobe... He wanted his own clothes, the ones he'd packed away in his suitcase. And he suspected that he was not, in fact, going to be picking any of it out, since, from what he could see of the racks of clothes, he wouldn't have chosen anything here for himself.
"A whole new wardrobe?" a bubbly voice exclaimed from out of Sebastian's view, a moment or two before a 'tweener worker stepped in front, bending over. "Aww, look at him! What a sweetie! Do you guys need any help?"
"That would be wonderful," Sebastian heard the Amazon woman say. "We're going to need a lot... The poor thing doesn't have anything besides what he has on now!"
"Poor little thing!" the worker cooed, reaching into the stroller to tickle Sebastian's tummy through his onesie. "A new adoption, huh?"
"Exactly," the man confirmed.
"Well," the worker straightened back up with a bounce, "my name is Mckenna, and I would love nothing more than to give you all a hand!"
"That would be perfect, dear," the woman chuckled. "Thank you."
"Don't mention it!" Mckenna waved them off. "It's my pleasure! Now, do you know his size?"
"I'm afraid not," the woman told her. "If we did, we'd have had some stuff ready for his arrival."
"No problem!" Mckenna reached into the pocket of her apron and pulled out a cloth tape measure. "Is he big enough to stand up?"
"Barely," the man smirked, stepping around to the front of the stroller to unfasten the restraints. "All right, Sebby, here we go!"
Sebastian was lifted up, plopped down on his feet in the middle of the store, giving him his first view of it in full. His eyes widened as he looked around, shocked at how huge it was. It appeared to go on seemingly forever, in every direction, filled with everything anyone could need to look after their littles... Or even 'tweeners, he suspected, seeing how large some of the clothing sizes went. He had to assume it was awkward for Mckenna to work here, selling Amazons things that could just as easily be used on her. He wondered if that was why she was so over-the-top cheerful, so eager to please and help out, to show that she was mature, and useful, enough to not deserve that.
"You said his name was Sebby?" Mckenna asked, peering up at the man, who nodded. "Hi, Sebby!" she knelt down in front of him. "I'm going to take your onesie off for just a minute so I can get the best measurements, okay?"
Sebastian blushed, his mouth starting to nurse his pacifier a bit harder. Mckenna was pretty, he had to admit... He didn't hate the idea of being undressed by her, even if he would prefer it not happen here, like this, in public, while he was in diapers, and with Hallie standing off to the side, glaring.
He hated that he felt bad about that... It wasn't like he'd chosen any of this; she was the one who had tricked him into coming! And he hadn't asked Mckenna to participate, either, much less to start stripping him, beginning to unsnap his onesie before he even had a chance to try to answer, not that he could, with his pacifier in, or that his response was likely to change her mind.
The air was cool on his skin, but the heat rising in his cheeks made it difficult for him to notice as the garment was pulled up over his head, draped over the seat of his stroller, leaving him standing there in only the huge diaper, legs splayed as he gawked at Mckenna, sucking on his paci. "Hi, there," she giggled, his blush deepening as he realized that she could tell he was staring at her. "These are quite the diapers!"
Apparently unable to help herself, she reached behind him, giving the seat of them a pat. Sebastian was so unused to the bulk of them, the contact was enough to make him stumble forward, and then lose his balance, falling forward, straight into the worker's chest.
Flustered, he struggled to regain his footing, arms flailing, brushing against her in ways he very much didn't mean to, and just made him more worked up. "Sorry, Sebby," she apologized, helping him, setting him back on his feet, face bright red and focusing on his own feet, not daring to glance over and see Hallie's reaction. "I guess your Daddy was right... You really are barely big enough to stand! I should have known better!"
Sebastian gave his head a tiny shake, relatively certain she hadn't intended to do that. It hadn't felt, as far as he could tell through the massive padding, like she'd done it particularly hard, he simply wasn't accustomed to the way they affected his stance, even when he was just standing still.
"So," Mckenna peered past Sebastian, up to the Amazons, "are these going to be his everyday diapers?"
The pair exchanged a look as Sebastian peeked at them, wanting to know the answer himself. "They're probably close," the woman answered after a moment.
"Wow," Mckenna smiled at Sebastian. "You really are brand new, huh? Mommy and Daddy don't even know what diapers you need yet!" She turned back to the Amazons as Sebastian squirmed.
"If anything, we'd go thicker," the man told her, earning a squeak of indignation from Sebastian, who considered what he was already wearing far too thick to begin with.
Mckenna nodded. "Okay! Well, I could take his diaper off and measure him that way, and then you could just add the size of the diapers you pick to them to figure out what to get..."
Sebastian's eyes grew even larger, his body freezing on the spot, too mortified to react any other way. She might take him somewhere more private for that, off to a fitting room, but since she hadn't mentioned that, he couldn't help picturing her doing it right here, peeling off the tapes of his diaper, letting it fall to the floor, leaving him standing there, stark naked... He'd thought wearing only a diaper was humiliating! That was a whole new level, one he wasn't sure he'd be able to take, especially after the last incident with him tumbling into Mckenna's chest. It was difficult to tell, as bulky, and snug, as his padding was, however, he thought he felt a twitching there, straining against the front of the diaper, and he didn't want anyone - particularly Mckenna or Hallie - to see that, not here, not like this...
"Or I can measure him in this diaper, if you know how big it is, and you can adjust accordingly once you do know what diapers he needs," Mckenna continued.
Sebastian felt his head nod, a wave of relief washing over him when he heard the Amazon woman say, "I think that would be fine for now." He honestly hadn't known what her response was going to be, and he couldn't help feeling grateful to her, despite everything else she had done.
"All right!" Mckenna replied. "Whatever you want!"
She began to measure him with her tape, stretching it over and around every part of him, jotting down notes into her phone and giggling now and then, making him self-conscious every time. Sebastian heard a couple groans from Hallie, off to the side, but he didn't dare look over at her to see what she was doing, not right now, with this other woman's hands all over him.
Finally, Mckenna stood up, slipping the measuring tape back into her apron. "Okay, I think I've got it!" she declared. "I can send you a copy of all of this so you can have it for yourself," she offered. "But first, I ought to double check that I calculated his size right, so... What is the first thing you want him to try on?"
"Well," the woman said, "I suppose the thing that's most important to have him actually try on is a nice little sailor suit..."
"Wonderful!" Mckenna gushed. "A perfect choice!"
The Amazon smiled, though Sebastian could see that she was slightly annoyed at Mckenna's enthusiasm cutting her off. "As I was saying," she continued pointedly, "we need one that has a matching counterpart for Hallie here, too, if possible."
The worker fidgeted awkwardly. "S-Sorry, ma'am," she apologized. "I-I think I have the perfect thing... Do you know her size?"
"Of course," Hallie's Mommy nodded, rattling it off.
"Okay," Mckenna glanced over the clothing racks anxiously. "Well, we have plenty of sailor uniforms for boys and girls, but when it comes to matching ones... Let's see..."
She lifted Sebastian up, setting him back into his stroller, stepped away. Sebastian watched her, then looked up at the Amazons curiously to see if they were going to bother to strap him back in. There was nothing keeping him there, really, and he wasn't even on reins like Hallie... He might as well have been, however, for as helpless as he felt, regardless, as useless as the idea of escape was. What was he going to do? Try to toddle all the way to the exit while he was in only a diaper? Outrun both of them, and, no doubt, Mckenna when she saw what was going on, who could probably also contact her bosses, tell them to lock the door before he got there?
Mckenna returned after a few moments with a humiliating, infantile, one piece sailor suit. It was mostly white, though striped around the arms, legs, and collar with baby blue, the same color as the tie looped underneath the collar. Snaps ran across the crotch, and up the front, making it nice and easy for him to be able to be put into it, though the matching mittens, baby blue as well, ensured that it would not be nearly as simple for him to get himself out of. There was a pair of soft booties, too, and a white bonnet with a an anchor stitched into it in blue, all co-ordinated perfectly.
"Does this work?" Mckenna asked hopefully, holding it all up. "There's a girl's version, too, if..."
"It looks darling, Mckenna," the woman responded. "Do you make it a habit to leave little ones under your care loose so they can wander about as they please, though?"
Mckenna turned bright red. "I-I thought... Y-You were... I-I was..." she started to protest, before shaking her head meekly. "N-No, ma'am... S-Sorry, ma'am... I-I'll do better... Pl-Please don't tell my manager."
The Amazon smiled, nodded. "We'll see about that, Mckenna. Now... Why don't we also see how Sebby looks in that before we make a decision?"
"Of course!" Mckenna hurried over to the stroller, pulling Sebastian back out of it. "Whatever you say, ma'am!"

Oh dear McKenna, think you'll come to regret interrupting mommy and forgetting the golden rule about always keeping littles secure. Who knows what mischief Sebby could have got up to?
Mommy will tell the manager as she is just that kind of person. Even if she does it on a comment card or passing statement on the way out.

I hope mommy tells her manager. She was irresponsible. I wonder if the clothing sizes goes up to Amazon sizes? Probably not as many variations as the others.
