CYOA: The Exchange Student - Chapter 18 (Story)
🕑 Added 2023-09-18 12:00:03 +0000 UTCIn the end, Anna simply couldn't resist it. "I-I think the zoo sounds fun," she blushed, peeking over at Aidan, glad to see how happy he looked. Of course, as much as might like to pretend that was her main reasoning, in all honesty she wanted to go herself. When was the last time she'd been to the zoo back home? And they probably had some different animals here, too, so that would be even more exciting!
Not to mention that going to the zoo in a diaper seemed like such a sweet, childish thing to do. Getting to go look at the animals, without a care in the world, not even being able to make it to the potty on time... It would be the perfect thing for getting herself in the right headspace to face kindergarten tomorrow. It wouldn't hurt to have some more practice being around other people while diapered, either, in someplace not quite as crowded and hectic as the airport.
"If you're sure," Mrs. Florez told her.
"She already said yes!" Aidan whined. "Don't make her change her mind now!"
Anna chuckled. "I'm not going to," she promised him. "I like the zoo! And I took a nap yesterday, and went to bed early... I've had plenty of rest."
"All right..." Mrs. Florez still sounded hesitant, though she appeared ready to accept it. Anna had to wonder if she would have acted the same with another exchange student, or if she hadn't confessed about her diapers, if she hadn't just changed Anna's messy overnight diaper, if she saw Anna as just another teenager. "Well, we'd better hurry up, then! We'll want to get there soon so we can enjoy it before it starts to get too hot out!"
"Okay," Anna nodded, chomping down the rest of her pancake and heading to Karissa's room while the other girl stopped by the bathroom to get ready, looking at herself in the mirror, turning, tugging at her shirt, debating whether the outfit she'd tossed on to go eat breakfast was good enough to face the public in. She felt like she could see a little bit of a bulge through her shorts, but was it only because she already knew it was there?
When she heard someone approaching the door, she barely bothered to glance over, assuming it was Karissa, however it was Mrs. Florez's voice that hit her ears, sounding slightly annoyed. "You haven't even put your shoes on yet? I told you we wanted to get moving!"
She'd never heard the woman talk to her like that and, while she did feel bad for wasting time, it did also did a good job of putting her back into the headspace of a silly little girl, unable to be trusted to do so much as get dressed on her own. "Sorry," she blushed. "I-I was just..."
"All right," Mrs. Florez sighed, bending down to pick up Anna's discarded pink sneakers from the floor. "Hop up onto the bed."
"I-I can..." Anna started to protest before thinking better of it, obediently sitting on the edge of the bed, feet dangling while Mrs. Florez knelt down, tugged the shoes over them, pulling the Velcro straps snug. Anna blushed, squirming, feeling herself dribbling into her diaper; how babyish was she, needing to have help to put her shoes on? And they didn't even have laces! She ought to be able to put these ones on by herself!
"I'm sorry," Mrs. Florez apologized after a moment. "I'm not mad at you, dear... I was trying to give you a way out, because I didn't think you had your diaper bag ready for a trip yet."
"My diaper..?" Anna frowned, cutting herself short. Of course she'd have a diaper bag, if she wore all the time... She'd have to keep her supplies somewhere! In all her planning, all her dreaming, she hadn't considered that, not outside of school itself, where she'd gotten a backpack with a separate compartment for a laptop, in which she planned to stash a spare or two, and whatever other supplies she could squeeze in.
She could see Mrs. Florez's eyes narrowing just a bit, Anna's surprise at her statement striking her as odd, rightfully so. "Right," Anna laughed it off. "I don't call it that, but I guess that's what it is, isn't it?"
Shoes firmly in place, she slid off the bed, padding over to grab her backpack, opening it up and starting to shove diapers inside. "See?" Mrs. Florez told her, gently pulling it from her hands, taking over. "I had a feeling you weren't prepared."
Anna stood by awkwardly, uselessly, as Mrs. Florez pulled out all of Anna's school supplies, setting them to the side, quickly filling up the main compartment of the bag with changing supplies and fresh diapers, all the bottles and tubs and mats taking up far more space than Anna had really anticipated, especially when she added in some booster pads for the Pampers. "I-I'm not sure I need all..." she pointed out.
"The zoo is a big, exciting place, and I don't want you leaking," Mrs. Florez lectured. "We're lucky you didn't do that last night! You either need your soakers, or you can wear your other diapers, but just a Pamper on its own isn't going to do it."
"B-But..." Anna pouted, thinking back to her reflection, how she felt like her diaper bulge was already on the verge of being obvious as it was... The Pampers were more overtly infantile, given that they were, of course, actually meant for infants, though at least they were less bulky than the diapers she'd bought for herself, something she hadn't fully realized the difficulty of dealing with when she was simply fantasizing about this trip. Throwing in a booster pad would negate that, to some degree, even if not making them entirely as thick.
"Are you arguing with me, young lady?" Mrs. Florez asked, crossing her arms sternly, the tone in her voice, her expression, sending a sudden bolt of fear down Anna's spine. Clearly, she didn't see Anna as an adult - and, with everything that had happened in only her first day here, that was fair - but how far did that extend? Would she punish Anna if she thought she deserved it?
Anna blushed, imagining herself being pulled over Mrs. Florez's lap, her shorts, and then diaper, tugged down for a sound spanking. She hadn't considered that, either, yet, out of the blue, it seemed like a real possibility, one she wasn't sure if she wanted or not. Right now, however, before a trip in the car, and a day out at the zoo, she certainly would prefer to avoid it, though.
"N-No, ma'am," Anna shook her head. "I-I just..."
Mrs. Florez slid Anna's shorts down, Anna noting how naturally she did it, how she didn't hesitate, didn't bother to ask permission before slipping a finger into the legband of the diaper, giving her a check. "You're soggy already," Mrs. Florez informed her, as if she didn't know - which, Anna supposed, might have been the case if she'd really needed them, as she claimed. "And how long ago did I change you?"
"N-Not that long," Anna admitted.
"I'm not going to be able to check you all the time at the zoo, especially not if you don't want anyone to notice," Mrs. Florez shrugged.
"I-I know," Anna said. "B-But I can let you know when I need..."
"And what if you get distracted?" Mrs. Florez asked. "Or if you don't have a chance to tell me privately before you leak? I'll pack you an extra pair of shorts, but I can't do anything about it if somebody sees the wet spot, or wonders why you suddenly changed clothes in the middle of the day."
"I-I guess," Anna nibbled her lip. "B-But..."
"What's going on here?" Karissa asked, walking into her room.
"We're packing Anna's diaper bag," Mrs. Florez told her. "And then she's going to need a change before we head out."
"Shouldn't you be getting ready, too?" Karissa inquired.
Mrs. Florez sighed. "Yeah. First, though, I need..."
"I've got this," Karissa cut her off. Her mother started to open her mouth. "Yes, I'm sure. I know what I'm doing, and Anna probably does, too."
Mrs. Florez didn't look convinced, particularly about the latter, however, she nodded. "All right. I'll leave you in charge."
Karissa watched her leave, waiting for her to close the door. "Sorry," she smiled at Anna. "She can be kind of intense sometimes."
"It's okay," Anna said. She hadn't thought about how much work it would be, but it was probably a good idea to see what it was like, because surely this wouldn't be her last outing in diapers while she was here.
"Can you handle that?" Karissa nodded down at the backpack.
Despite what she'd said to her mother, Anna noted that she didn't take it for granted, that she didn't completely trust that Anna did know what she was doing after all. "Uh-huh," Anna replied.
"I'll get dressed, then, and change you when I'm done," Karissa promised.
Mrs. Florez, Anna couldn't help thinking, hadn't informed Karissa of her decision, so she didn't know what diapers she was supposed to wear... If she wanted, she could pack just her Pampers, get changed into one, and be more discrete, act like she'd accidentally forgotten to bring the booster pads with them. Or she could trust that the woman was right, and go with a bulkier diaper, even if it would be more obvious, harder to hide when walking around all morning. Either way, Mrs. Florez likely wouldn't know until it was time for her first change, and by then, it would be too late for her to do anything about it, though she might not be happy about it if Anna defied her.
She didn't have too long to think about it, since delaying would give Mrs. Florez a chance to finish getting ready herself and return, so she made a choice, packed her bag, and laid one out for Karissa to change her into, her cheeks reddening at the look the girl gave her when she saw it, wondering what she was thinking, if perhaps she and Mrs. Florez had discussed this at some point without her.
Either way, Karissa got her changed, and they went out to the car, Anna feeling slightly anxious as she sat down and buckled in. This had been her choice, both the zoo, and which diaper she was in, yet, now, she wasn't sure if either one had been the right one.
Early as they were, there was still a bit of a line to get their tickets, and once they had them, they were faced with an obstacle Anna hadn't expected, one that made her stomach start to churn. She should have anticipated it, but somehow, it hadn't even occurred to her until now that they might want to check her bag. Her face began to burn bright red, imagining someone opening up the backpack, seeing the diapers inside... Possibly allowing Aidan and Mr. Florez to spot them as well, not to mention whoever was near them, since that line was so much longer and slower-moving than the other.
"Y-You guys can go through the regular entrance," she offered. "You don't hafta wait for me."
"Nonsense," Mr. Florez told her. "We're not going to make you stand there all on your own."
Anna gulped, staring up at Karissa, hoping for some help, only to see the girl distracted by her phone. To her surprise, she got it anyway, though it came from Aidan instead. "Let's just go," he whined. "The bathrooms are right on the other side..."
"Why didn't you go before we left?" his mother sighed. "Why don't you all go, and I'll wait with Anna."
"I-I can do it on my own," Anna insisted, but, unsurprisingly, Mrs. Florez wouldn't accept that, walking with her over to the bag check line. Anna squirmed nervously, looking ahead at the security officers, thinking about what they, and Mrs. Florez, were going to see when they opened up her backpack.
What kind of diapers did Anna bring?
