CYOA: The Exchange Student - Chapter 17 (Story)

Anna herself didn't know for sure, not at first. It took her a moment or two to finish waking up after hearing the voice, feeling a pat on the bottom, if only faintly, and accompanied by another, far more embarrassing - though not entirely bad - sensation. She squirmed drowsily, eyes blinking open to see Mrs. Florez standing over her in the dark.
"G-Good..." Anna began to say, before the smell hit her, before that wriggling made her aware of the cool mush packing the seat of her Pamper. "O-Oh..."
The humiliation of Mrs. Florez seeing her this way, clearly knowing what she'd done in her pants, was quite useful, overriding the infantile joy of waking up in a dirty diaper, something that Anna hadn't expected to happen anytime soon, certainly not after discovering that she was going to be sharing a bedroom. And yet, here it was, her very first morning, just as babyish as she could have fantasized, or hoped for.
Her host mother's presence, however, did put a bit of a damper on things. "I-I..!" she squealed, mind racing to come up with an excuse.
"Shh," Mrs. Florez held a finger to her lips. "Karissa is still asleep, sweetie."
Anna nodded, glancing past the woman to Karissa, seeing her stir in her bed, but not wake. "S-Sorry," she mumbled, for both her 'accident' and her thoughtful exclamation.
"It's all right," the woman cooed, holding out her hand. "Let's go get you cleaned up."
Anna nibbled her bottom lip, staring up at her. She definitely didn't want to do it herself, not first thing after waking up, however, this felt so much more intimate, so much more vulnerable, than getting changed out of a wet diaper. "I-I can..." she offered weakly.
"Come on," Mrs. Florez urged, quietly yet insistently.
"Y-Yes, ma'am," Anna replied obediently. She swung her legs around out of the bed without thinking, letting out a gasp as she sat right up, squelching the mass in her diaper thoroughly beneath her bottom. She had wanted to try that last night, yes; she wouldn't have chosen to do it now, in front of Mrs. Florez, though, if she could help it, she'd just been too sleepy to consider what she was doing.
Her face burned bright red, toes curling slightly. She was such a silly, dumb little baby, wasn't she? She deserved to be going back to kindergarten... Meekly, she hopped off the bed and took Mrs. Florez's hand, her own other moving up to her mouth, thumb sliding between her lips as she toddled past Karissa's bed, out into the hallway and to the master bedroom.
Thankfully, Mr. Florez was up already, apparently, giving them the whole room to themselves. The light was on, letting Anna look at herself, at her childish PJs and the obvious diaper bulge beneath them, peering behind herself at the lump there, still clear despite the squishing it had gotten. She really did look like a little girl, didn't she? Certainly more like that than a high school senior...
"I-I'm sorry," she told Mrs. Florez. "I-I didn't..!"
"You understood that was why I gave you the suppositories, didn't you?" the woman asked, shaking her head.
Anna sucked harder on her thumb, blushing as she realized it was still in her mouth, pulling it free and rubbing it shyly on her PJ top to dry it off. If she'd just told Mrs. Florez she used her diapers for this all the time, it wouldn't be so embarrassing... She'd have expected this from her. And, after her first experience, she didn't think she'd mind having to do it.
Then again, that might get tricky while she was at school... Mrs. Florez shouldn't know that she was going to kindergarten instead, so whatever she told her shouldn't matter there... Except that, if she used the toilet there, and wasn't able to go in her diaper afterwards, the woman could start to get suspicious, to ask the school nurse if they had dealt with any messy accidents lately...
So it was probably a good thing that she hadn't gone with that, even if it made this morning a little more difficult. "I-I did," she admitted. "A-And I wanted to stay up, I did... I was just so tired, I couldn't help myself... I-I thought I could lie down for a minute and still wake up once I needed to go, but..."
She glanced down at her diaper bashfully, the end result obvious. Mrs. Florez smiled, fortunately, not seeming upset. "I was afraid that might happen," she said. "That's why I offered to let you wait in the bathroom instead. I guess next time you'll know better, huh?"
Anna's blush returned, again for a different reason than Mrs. Florez likely interpreted it. "Y-Yeah..." She probably couldn't get away with that a second time without raising suspicions... She did know, however, that Mrs. Florez had suppositories, and what it felt like to use them, to lose control... Maybe some time, if she was alone in the house, she could give them another go.
"Oh, sweetie," Mrs. Florez stroked Anna's hair. "You don't have to feel bad about it. It happens! I should have seen that you were too sleepy to go off to another room."
"I-It's not your fault!" Anna assured her, feeling guilty for making Mrs. Florez blame herself in any way. "I'm a big girl... I should have known."
"It's no big deal either way," Mrs. Florez responded. "It's only a messy diaper... I just hope that diaper rash cream you girls got is good."
"Y-Yeah," Anna agreed. That was one thing she hadn't considered, when it came to spending the night in a dirty diaper... The itchiness was definitely more noticeable once Mrs. Florez had opened up her diaper, started to wipe her clean, however, while Anna squirmed and blushed. She felt like she ought to offer to help, somehow, but she had no idea what she would have done, other than lie there and let herself get changed like a good little girl, taped into some fresh padding where she so clearly belonged.
"I'm so sorry, sweetie," Mrs. Florez told her. "One day here and you already have a rash! I should call your mother and apologize for not..."
"No!" Anna spoke up quickly. "I-It's okay... I'm a big girl..."
Mrs. Florez chuckled. "Of course you are," she said, in a way that made it sound like she wasn't particularly convinced of that... To be fair, Anna having to say it so often didn't exactly do much to verify the statement's veracity.
"There we are!" Mrs. Florez declared, helping Anna sit up, sliding her PJ shorts back into place. "All better! There are probably some pancakes ready now, if you want to go eat. Or you can go get dressed first if you want. I imagine the other kids will be getting up soon and straggling in."
It was early, and Karissa, obviously, was quite aware of Anna's diaper. Aidan, on the other hand, wasn't, as far as she knew, and she'd prefer to keep it that way. The bulge seemed so much worse, under her pajamas, and it would be easy for her to not pay attention, lean a bit too far forward, allow the waistband to peek over the top of her shorts...
She toddled back to Karissa's room, pausing at the bathroom, annoyed at herself that she hadn't thought to wet her diaper before her change. She hadn't peed yet that morning, had been too worked up about her messy diaper, and getting it changed, to consider that she should go ahead and do that. She wouldn't be able to hold it forever, and the longer she stayed dry, the better chance her skin had to recover from her rash.
She did her best to be quiet while she dug through her clothes, searching for something to throw on, but Karissa still woke up before she finished. "Morning," she yawned, stretching. "Do you need a change?"
Anna turned to face her, a part of her tempted to go ahead and let go, get another change already... She wasn't sure she'd be able to finish before Karissa started, though, nor that she was used to doing it enough to keep it from being obvious. "No," she said. "Your mom just took care of it."
"Okay," Karissa nodded groggily.
Anna put on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt and headed to the dining room, where, as Mrs. Florez had predicted, there was a platter with a small stack of pancakes waiting on it. Mr. Florez poked his head in when he heard her arrive, Anna blushing, hands moving to tug at the hem of her shirt. "Good morning," he greeted her. "Go on and eat while they're still warm! It's hard to tell when the others will be here."
"Thanks," she told him, picking up a fork from in front of the seat she'd sat at the night before to stab at one of the pancakes, as well as a plate to drag it onto.
"Did you have a good night?" he asked, while she slathered butter and syrup onto it.
She squirmed and blushed, listening to her diaper crinkling beneath her bottom, remembering how it had felt, lying there, filling her last one up, how incredibly babyish it had been... "Y-Yeah," she admitted with a giggle. "I did..."
Despite the parents' warnings, it wasn't too long at all before everyone had made their way to the table for breakfast, although Anna hardly minded being the first, anyway, only having to face one at a time as they came in, rather than needing to work up the courage to walk in and see them all at once immediately after having her poopy Pampers changed.
"So," Mr. Florez said when he was finished cooking and had sat down himself, "did you talk to her yet?"
Anna looked up from her plate, unsure who he was talking to, or about. "No, not yet," Mrs. Florez answered. "We just got up!"
"Talk to who about what?" Aidan asked, keeping Anna from having to do the same, though she had a feeling that she was the answer to the former... What the latter was, she had no clue, only a hope that it was something that didn't have to do with her diapers. While she didn't really want to think about it, she suspected Mrs. Florez had mentioned them to her husband, or at least would at some point... She definitely didn't want to discuss them with Aidan there, however, if she could help it.
"Well," Mrs. Florez, indeed, turned towards Anna, "we thought Anna could decide what we do today."
"Weren't we going to go to the zoo?" Aidan pouted.
"We talked about it," Mrs. Florez said. "With it being the last day before school starts back up, it might be pretty busy, though, and after the big day she had yesterday, I don't know if..."
"I-I don't want to interrupt your plans," Anna shook her head, seeing the disappointed look on Aidan's face.
"We can always go next week," Mr. Florez told her.
"That's right," Mrs. Florez nodded. "If you'd rather just have us show you the town a bit, we could do that... Or we could do nothing at all, if you need a day off to rest. It's up to you, dear."
Anna wiggled in her seat, glancing from the adults to Aidan, not sure what to do. She didn't want to disappoint him, or make him angry with her for keeping him from it... A lazy day would be nice as well, though, before the excitement of starting at a new school. Or... Maybe she could do both, she thought. If they went to the zoo without her, she could have some time to herself here, far away from her own family, with her diapers...
Then again, the zoo did sound kind of fun as well. And it might not be a bad idea to get the lay of the land here, where she was going to be staying... She was enjoying her diapers, but she'd have time to play around more with them on her own later... Probably...
"Whatever you want," Mrs. Florez smiled.
The trouble was, she wanted all of it... What did she want to do the most? She looked around the table again, hoping that would help her make the decision. It didn't, leaving her with the same question as when she started, the same choice to make.
Should Anna...
Go to the zoo?
Take a tour around the town?
Stay home and wait for school the next day?
Or see if she can stay home alone while the rest of the family goes to the zoo?
