Taking What Isn't Hers - Chapter 1

"No, I will not!" Shania stomped her feet in frustration, glaring up at the woman in front of her. Defiance seemed like a bad idea... But, at this point, how could she not? This was ridiculous!
Lindsay raised an eyebrow incredulously, leaning over, grabbing Shania's chin and lifting it up, keeping her from looking away. "What did you say to me, young lady?"
An almost palpable shock ran down Shania's spine at the contact, a reminder of how small she was, how helpless she was, if Lindsay really wanted her to do something... That didn't stop her from trying to shake her head anyway, prompting the taller girl's fingers to tighten around her chin. "Come on!" she whined. "Haven't you done enough?! I said I was sorry!"
"And this is how I know you haven't learned your lesson," Lindsay sighed. "If you had, you would have remembered that you most certainly have not apologized."
Shania blinked, furrowing her brow for a moment. "What? Yes, I..."
"Contradicting me now?" Lindsay sniffed. "Have you learned anything, you little brat?"
Shania would have loved to contradict that, but it was difficult to do currently. 'Little' was not a matter of dispute at all... Next to Lindsay, and her fiance, Bennett, Shania was undeniably tiny. Brat might be more debatable, though she was an only child, and very used to getting what she wanted, no matter what it took, even - or, perhaps, especially - if it had originally belonged to somebody else.
That was, in fact, what had gotten her into this mess... What had led to her standing there, in the middle of the living room in a poofy, frilly pink party dress, skirt almost short enough to expose her thick, white cotton panties every time she moved, feet clad in white knee socks and shiny, black Mary Janes, rather than her usual heels, making the difference between her and Lindsay's heights all the more apparent.
She'd seen Bennett at a party, and immediately, she knew that was what she wanted. She hadn't cared when she'd seen Lindsay come up to him, give him a kiss... If anything, it made her more excited. There was something about taking something away from someone else that made her new possession extra special... It probably went back to her childhood, to learning that her small size and innocent face meant the adults were more likely to believe her if it came down to her word against another, bigger kid's.
So many toys wound up in her toy box thanks to that, to her being able to make tears well up when the teacher came over, upon seeing the other kid trying to snatch their toy back from her after she'd claimed it. "It's mine!" she'd sniffle. "Th-They're trying to bully me and steal it!"
That was, most of the time, all it took for her to add something new to her collection, and get the other kid sent to the principal's office. Being the shortest student in her grade every year made her quite plausible as an easy target for bullies, although she did learn to tone it down after one of her victims was smart enough to have the principal call in her parents and have them confirm that the toy hadn't been Shania's to begin with.
Shania, of course, had wound up in front of the principal then, her own parents behind her, looking on in disappointment as they were told about her crimes, and how she was getting detention. Her parents didn't believe in spanking, normally, but they made an exception then, after they got home, and she promised to never do it again, and to return everything she'd taken.
And that might have been the end of it, the mortifying memory of walking around her homeroom, passing out toys, backside aching beneath her jeans... Except, her parents moved that summer, and she enrolled in a new school, where they didn't know about her scam, giving her a fresh start, and the knowledge that she should be careful, and not go too overboard. The more people she took from, the bigger chance there was that she'd be caught. She had to pick and choose, take only what she really wanted from the kids who might not be clever enough to think to call in outside assistance.
She'd carried that lesson with her to this day, which was why she hadn't attempted to hook up with every guy she saw... Bennett, however, was so hot, so she very much did want him, and having the opportunity to steal him from somebody else just sweetened the pot. It was going to be easy, too... Lindsay was attractive, too, like him, to the point where it almost made Shania insecure in her own petite body... She was taller than even Bennett, though, and that was her way in.
In her experience, even guys who said they liked taller girls, or at least didn't mind them, were intimidated by them. Looking at Lindsay, she could see why, and how, he'd been able to overlook that, yet she suspected there was a part of him that wanted to go out with somebody shorter than him, someone he could feel he was taking care of...
Her hunch had been absolutely correct, and, in a matter of weeks, she was in the middle of a full-on affair. She'd spotted the ring on his finger as soon as she got close to him at the party, waiting until she saw Lindsay go off towards the bathroom to approach him, but that just made her want him more, seeing how far Lindsay had her claws in him. Funnily enough, she hadn't been wearing her heels then, either, taking them off and carrying them so she could lie to him, ask him, "Hey, sorry to bother you... Could you get me some punch? My feet were killing me in these, so I had to take them off. Without them, with as tall as the punch bowl is, I'm afraid I'll end up spilling it all over if I do it myself... Plus, I've already had a couple glasses, so I'm a little tipsy."
She'd giggled, batted her eyes... And that had been the start of it all. She'd been so sure it would all work out from there, that the worst Lindsay would want to do was beat her up when, inevitably, she caught them, and that Bennett would at the very least keep that from happening. There was no way Lindsay would call in her Mommy and Daddy, like the girl who had gotten her in so much trouble at school, after all...
To be fair, she hadn't; she'd done all of this herself, yanking Shania out of her and over her lap. If it hadn't been for that, bringing the memory of her father doing the same to her so long ago, perhaps she would have had the strength to withstand the questioning that came afterwards, as she rubbed her bottom and cried like a baby. She had plenty of practice, but she was rusty, and upset, so Lindsay refused to believe her when she claimed she hadn't known about her, that she hadn't seen the ring, or the pictures of her around the house...
One of the most important lessons she'd learned from stealing toys was to always double down, to keep pretending, even when it looked like you would talk. If she kept it up, it might be enough to make the most skeptical teachers start to soften, to wonder if it was a mistake, if she and her victim had the same toy, and that was what was making the other kid think that this copy of it was theirs. So, that was what she did with Lindsay, up and until the bigger woman snapped.
"You are just a spoiled little brat, aren't you? How long has it been since somebody has told you no? Well, I have some bad news for you, young lady... I know exactly how to deal with brats like you, and you are not going to like it."
Lindsay was right about that. Shania hadn't appreciated being practically kidnapped, kept in Lindsay and Bennett's spare bedroom, which was quickly turning into something more fit for a four year old as Lindsay brought in more and more decorations, and revised her wardrobe entirely, hiring her a babysitter to look after her while she was at work who believed she was a kid with a big imagination, ignoring her insistences about her true identity.
After seeing his fiance's wrath, and probably experiencing some form of it himself after Shania had been put to bed that first night, Bennett wouldn't help her, either. She'd done her best to entice him, sure she could do it again, despite her new clothes, and lack of her usual padded push-up bras, but every time he pretended not to notice, or flat out told her no, which just bruised her ego further.
And now, to add insult to injury, Lindsay had come to her at her bedtime and laid out a thick, white diaper on her bed. "You are going to be wearing these to bed from now on, young lady," Lindsay had announced, leading to the only appropriate response, Shania stomping and glaring, her cheeks glowing bright red the whole time at the mere thought of Lindsay getting her way.
"You've said sorry," Lindsay admitted, prompting Shania to nod, to roll her eyes, wondering how, a moment earlier, the woman could possibly have claimed she hadn't apologized at all. "Only when I've been spanking you, though, or putting you in the corner... You aren't sorry for what you did, you're sorry you're getting punished for it."
Shania squirmed, hating how accurate that was, how clearly Lindsay had seen through her. "I-It can be both," she shrugged.
"But it isn't," Lindsay countered. "So we're going to take this a little further. You will be diapered whenever you go to bed, both at night, at for naps."
"I don't take naps!" Shania protested.
"You do now," Lindsay informed her. "I already told Mrs. Knight that you've been getting cranky in the evenings, so she was going to have to start putting you down for them during the day... And that she'd have to diaper you for them. She wasn't surprised."
"No!" Shania groaned, stomping her foot again. "You can't let that old bat...!" She couldn't even bring herself to say it, to comprehend it.
"That's your favorite word tonight, isn't it?" Lindsay teased. "Well, Shania, I have some bad news for you... That is a word that I refuse to tolerate from little brats like you. So I am going to be hypnotizing you. The more you resist, the more you're going to need these diapers, to the point where you won't have any choice in the matter. If you keep fighting it, by the time I'm done with you, you'll be a full-on baby. Is that what you want?"
Of course it wasn't, and the prospect was a bit scary... Only a bit, though, not enough to keep Shania from laughing in Lindsay's face. "Oh, please," she scoffed. "Hypnosis isn't..."
"Sleep tight, Shania," Lindsay replied. Shania was thrown off-balance, not expecting that at all, not knowing what to make of it... Until she felt a warmth growing in her panties, starting to trickle down her thighs, onto her knee socks. She gasped, looking down at herself, mortified to realize she was in the midst of peeing her pants, and, try as she might, she couldn't stop it.
"What was that you were saying?" Lindsay smirked. "You see, I had a feeling it would go this way, so I already got started... And Mrs. Knight know that, after she tucks you in, she's supposed to tell you that before she turns out the light and leaves you to nap. Which means it's going to look, to her, like you really need those diapers she's going to be taping you into, no matter how much you fuss and throw tantrums about them."
Shania was in shock as Lindsay stripped her out of her clothes, cleaned her up, and laid her on top of the waiting diaper, powdering her and sealing her snugly inside before putting her into a set of cutesy pink PJs, the diaper bulging obviously beneath the shorts, the shirt just short enough to leave a bit of the plastic peeking up underneath it. There was zero doubt about what she was wearing, or how much it made her look like a pathetic little bedwetter.
"Now," Lindsay gave her a crinkly pat on the bottom, sending her towards the bedroom door, "go give Bennett a kiss on the cheek goodnight. I haven't told him about this, so it should be a nice surprise for him."
A whimper escaped Shania's lips as she fidgeted, tugging at the hem of her PJ shirt at the thought of having to present herself like this, letting the man she'd been sleeping with mere weeks ago - who she'd been certain, with a few more weeks of work, she could convince to leave Lindsay for her - see her this way. She hadn't even had to be spanked to let it happen, a fact he would no doubt see when she waddled away and didn't spot any redness peeking out from the legs of her shorts. It looked like she'd done it willingly... Like, perhaps, she needed them, or was simply too scared of Lindsay to put up a fight.
Either way, it definitely wasn't going to help her convince Bennett to go back to the way things were, to run away with her. She almost wanted Lindsay to spank her, to make it seem like she'd fought back... When she turned back towards her, however, the woman was waiting, arms crossed. "This is only the beginning, Shania, if your attitude doesn't shape up. Would you care for another taste?"
Shania squeaked, shook her head, not sure she could take anything else. "N-No, ma'am," she mumbled meekly, toddling out of the room, cringing at how loudly her diaper was rustling as she went off to shamefully tell Bennett good night, and pray he didn't respond, unknowingly, with another, "Sleep tight."
