From Ivy League to Mommy's Knee - Chapter 2

"Oh, Cassi," Mommy sighed. "Today?"
Cassidy nibbled her pacifier bashfully, squirming in her crib. "I'm sorry, Mommy!" she exclaimed, as clearly as she could around the obstruction in her mouth. "I-I didn't do it on purpose!"
Mommy shook her head, leaning over the bars to ruffle Cassi's hair, finally making Cassi raise her eyes from the floor, and the peripheral view of the wet sheets she was sitting in the middle of. Her face turned bright red, her heart beating a little faster as she saw what the woman was wearing. "Y-You look really pretty, Mommy," she told her shyly.
That didn't even fully cover it... Sexy would be more accurate, though both her Mommy and Daddy frowned upon her using any version of that word - and, after so long, it would feel weird and naughty to her as well - or grown-up, but that was such a silly, empty compliment, coming from her. In comparison to Cassi, almost anyone would seem 'grown-up.'
She felt a pang of jealousy, staring at the tiny, tight dress, at the way it hugged her Mommy's frame. It had been forever since she'd been allowed to wear anything like that... She'd tried, for a while, to get Mommy to let her put some of her clothes on to 'play dress-up,' however, even that had been denied to her with a smirking, "No, sweetie. If you want to do that, we can get you some cute little costumes. You aren't going anywhere near big girl clothes ever again as far as I'm concerned, game or not."
Considering she picked out all of Cassidy's outfits, and put her into many of them - unless she wasn't sleeping over that night and had to leave that to her babysitter, Lexi - that meant Cassi had no hope of wearing anything other than frilly toddler dresses, or tutus, or onesies if she was lucky, or, most commonly, as she was wearing now, t-shirts and diapers. Both Mommy and Daddy loved making her run around with her diapers fully exposed, 'So we can tell when you need a change,' supposedly.
Then again, even if that wasn't the case, she'd never have been able to wear Mommy's dress... Mommy was a good bit taller than her, for one, so something in that style would have looked strange, but regardless, whether it had been Cassi's size or not, it was far too form-fitting to accommodate her padding.
Mommy, of course, didn't have to worry about that; she got to wear panties. That was the biggest thing Cassidy envied, fidgeting in her crib, feeling her soaked diaper squish around her. There was plenty to choose from... She got to have a job, to go out to on dates with Daddy, or to the club, or wherever she wanted. She was an adult, so she had total freedom...
Cassi was technically an adult, too. She had, after all, graduated at nearly the top of her class, from one of the toughest colleges in the country! And yet, she had almost no freedom whatsoever. She was dressed the way Mommy chose for her, was only allowed out with Mommy, or Daddy, or Lexi, and then usually just to a park or a playground. She couldn't even use the toilet! She'd been banned from them altogether now for so long she wondered if she would be capable of getting there on time anymore if she wasn't.
She could, theoretically, leave at any time. They were keeping here there against her will... She had her degree, so hopefully she'd be able to find a job. She had nowhere to go, however, and, currently, her Daddy was paying off her student loans. That would stop if she moved out, would make it that much harder for her to find an apartment that she could afford... Not to mention she suspected they'd just gotten rid of all her old clothes from the closet in Daddy's room, so she'd have to buy a whole new wardrobe, unless her employer didn't mind her showing up to work with her diapers on display.
She hadn't worked up the guts to ask about it... It was possible they'd all been taken away to storage, or stashed in the attic or something. The closet she'd used, once upon a time, back when she'd still slept in the same bed with Daddy, and even got to sleep with him - now, the closest she got was humping her stuffed animals when nobody was looking - had definitely been cleared out, in order to make way for Mommy's stuff, now that she'd finally moved in.
That was what today was all about, why Mommy was so annoyed with her for leaking through her diaper during her nap, getting her crib sheets wet. Mommy and Daddy were throwing a party to celebrate, inviting all of their adult friends over to celebrate... As well as Lexi, although Cassi suspected that was mostly to help keep an eye on her.
Of course, Lexi was an adult, too, and she seemed friendly with Mommy and Daddy... She'd started college now, thankfully, which made being taken care of by her feel slightly less humiliating, but only slightly. Daddy paid her enough to babysit that she was willing to take mostly night classes, and look after Cassi while Mommy and Daddy were at work. With Mommy around, Lexi was less apt to color or cut Cassi's hair on a whim, to treat her like her own personal baby doll; Mommy did humor her now and then and let her do it when she asked, however.
She still very much viewed Cassi as beneath her, as a toddler, at best. Cassi had offered, plenty of times, to help her with her homework when she brought it over, bragging about how great her grades were, which college she'd went to, eager to exercise some of that knowledge, feel like a big girl for a bit, and every time, Lexi laughed her off, sent her away to color or play with her dolls.
"Thank you, baby," Mommy kissed her on the top of the head. "I know you didn't do it on purpose... You can't help yourself, can you?" Cassi shook her head. She truly couldn't... She was undeniably a bedwetter now, through and through, even during the briefest of naps. "Maybe we ought to start putting you in overnight diapers any time you're in your crib."
"Mommy!" Cassi squealed. "No! They're so thick, and...!"
"Did you just tell me 'no,' young lady?" Mommy raised an eyebrow.
Cassi gasped, shaking her head. "N-No!" she sniffed, before frowning. "I-I mean, yes... I-I mean..."
"Don't hurt your little head thinking about it," Mommy patted Cassi's bottom, making Cassi blush at the implication she wasn't clever enough to know what to say... Which, in this case, she supposed was true, unfortunately. "I know what I heard. Babies don't get to tell their Mommies 'no,' do they?" Cassi shook her head meekly. "No, they don't. I think, as punishment, you ought to wear your overnight diapers for the rest of the day."
Cassi opened her mouth to protest; it was bad enough she had to go to this party at all, to be around all of her Mommy and Daddy's friends in her diapers... Being in overnights would make it so much more mortifying! If she said anything, however, her Mommy would find a way to make it even worse, so she nodded, sighed, mumbled a half-hearted, "Yes, Mommy," into her paci.
True to her word, Mommy changed her into one of the extra-thick diapers, pulling a pair of thick cotton tights over top of it, followed by a decorative, extra frilly diaper cover, a tiny, pink party dress with puffy sleeves and a skirt that couldn't have fully hidden the bulk of a regular diaper, much less an overnight, or the three rows of ruffles on the seat of her diaper cover, a ribbon for her hair, and a pair of shiny, pink leather Mary Janes. Next to Mommy in her tight, sexy dress, Cassi looked every inch the toddler she lived as.
"You are so precious!" Mommy grinned, adjusting the ribbon in Cassi's hair, delighting in watching the girl squirm and blush preemptively, mentally recalling all of Mommy and Daddy's friends she'd met already, thinking about how much older and cooler they all seemed, how pitiful and infantile she was going to seem next to each of them.
There was a knock at the door, Cassi looking away from the mirror to see Lexi peeking in, wearing a dress that wasn't quite as slinky as Mommy's, but certainly miles more than the poofy nightmare of Cassi's. "Aww!" she clapped her hands together, staring at Cassi. "Look at her!"
"I know, right?" Mommy replied proudly, pinching Cassi's cheeks.
"I just wanted to let you know, your other guests are starting to arrive," Lexi announced.
"I knew I should have woken her up sooner," Mommy rolled her eyes. "Someone leaked all over her crib, so I had to deal with that."
"Cassi!" Lexi scolded. "Do you want me to clean it up so you can..?"
"No, no," Mommy shook her head. "You're not on the job! You're a guest, too! I'll handle it in a minute." She took Cassi's hand, leading her out of the nursery, Cassi's heart raising as they drew closer to the living room, toddling between her Mommy and her babysitter, bracing herself to spend the rest of the day being oohed and awwed over, having Mommy and Daddy's friends comment on how cute she was...
And then she stepped into the living room and froze, her fresh diaper growing warm already, along with her face. She did see some of those friends, mostly ones she'd met before, who knew about her lifestyle. She also, to her horror, saw plenty of her own friends and classmates from college. She squeaked, trying to hide behind Mommy's leg as she saw one of them spot her, saw the look of shock, and then amusement, on their face before they began to tell the others, watching awareness spread through the group in a wave.
She should have known... Mommy loved nothing more than to embarrass her, and this was, perhaps, the most embarrassing thing Cassidy could imagine, having to face all of them as she was now. "Go on," Mommy chuckled, tugging her out from behind her, sending her towards the center of the room with a pat on the seat of her diaper, making sure to speak loudly enough for all the guests to listen in. "Go say hello to your friends, sweetie... Mommy has to finish washing your crib sheets."
Cassidy turned, stared up at her, begging wordlessly for mercy, to be allowed to run back to hide in her nursery. Mommy squatted down in front of her, and, for a moment, Cassi thought it might have worked.
"And don't be rude," Mommy told her, reaching over and plucking the pacifier out of Cassi's mouth, letting it dangle from its leash, clipped to the front of her dress. "Not everyone can understand you with that, and you want them to know exactly what you've been up to since graduation, don't you? I'm certain they'd all love to hear all about it!"
