CYOA: The Exchange Student - Chapter 10 (Story)
🕑 Added 2023-05-16 12:00:03 +0000 UTCIt was better not to take any risks, Anna decided, though, to be fair, it was a pretty easy decision when all she had to do was wet her diaper, something she was growing to like more and more. It wasn't like the nap was going to last too awfully long, probably, so hopefully the risk of her rash worsening too much wouldn't be too high.
She snuggled under her covers, cheeks blazing in the dark as the plastic sheet continued to crackle beneath her. The only thing missing from this being a crib were the bars, and, with her eyes closed, it was simple to imagine them growing from the edges of the bed, trapping her there, marking her as a true baby...
Especially once she'd let go, and felt the padding around her bottom warming, growing squishy and soft. She swallowed a moan of embarrassed happiness, the experience different from going on the plane, while she was sitting up, the pee flowing and soaking into the diaper in a completely different way. She wasn't certain if it was that change, or the idea that she was making it look like she was a bedwetter, no matter when Karissa woke up, whether she checked her first or not, or the relative freedom of the dark room, of there being only one other person around her instead of a whole plane full, and that one person knowing all about her supposed medical condition, but it was better, in some way.
Maybe she just felt safer, more secure, having had Mrs. Florez diaper her, and not while they were shoved into a cramped airplane bathroom, and being hyper-aware of the plastic sheet on the bed that would prevent any real damage even if she did leak. She didn't, however, her diaper easily holding it all, seeming to dare her to use it more, which she gladly would have, had her bladder not been empty.
She turned over, biting down on her bottom lip as her thighs moved closer together, compressing the diaper between them. What a silly baby, she was, she thought, keeping her eyes closed, maintaining those imaginary bars. Despite a rough start with her first wetting, this really was going very well, better than she could have hoped. Having her own room would have been nice, yes, but there was something nice about sharing, too, when your roommate knew about your diapers, and was willing to help you with them.
It probably never would have happened, yet, as she wriggled there, she couldn't stop herself from fantasizing about this actually being a crib, about a world where she'd arrived and been told that, since Karissa's trip had fallen through, the only available bed in the house was the one Karissa, or Adrian, or both, had used when they were babies...
A warmth began to build up inside her at the thought, running through the scenarios, with Karissa knowing, as she did now, being aware of how appropriate that was, how much Anna deserved such an infantile bed, and another with her unaware, ignorant to the fact that her new roomie both slept in a crib and wore diapers. Or even one where Karissa hadn't found out until now, until she was helping Anna get ready for her nap, and caught a glimpse of her diaper, lifting her skirt, teasing her...
She caught herself reaching between her legs, starting to rub, eyes popping open, confirming, with a sigh of relief, that she had, indeed, turned away from Karissa's bed, that, most likely, the other girl had no idea what she'd been about to start doing. If she'd had the room to herself, she almost definitely would have, which might have led to an awkward conversation with Mrs. Florez at her next diaper change... But, if Karissa wasn't here, and she had a private room, would she still have confessed to her host mom? Or trusted herself to get used to putting her diapers on correctly?
There was no point dwelling on all that now. She pulled her hand away bashfully, moving it above her covers to keep another barrier, however small, between her and the tempting naughtiness. She'd have other chances... Probably. Mrs. Florez had said Karissa spent most of her time with Doyle, so presumably they wouldn't always be in the room... If they were, though, what was she going to do when she needed a change, and Mrs. Florez wasn't around? Would Karissa change her, right there in front of Doyle?! Surely not... She couldn't pretend the thought didn't make her start to squirm again, rubbing her thighs together...
Thankfully, she was pretty tired, so she was able to push those fantasies aside long enough to drift off to sleep. Several of them came flooding back as soon as she awoke, however, finding herself in an unfamiliar place, in a soggy diaper, now cool and clammy. It took a second or two to remind herself what was going on, looking over to see Karissa, already awake and out of bed.
She stretched and yawned, hopping out of bed, still groggy, yet knowing she should get up so she'd have some hopes of going back to sleep that night at a reasonable hour. "Hi, there," Karissa told her, turning her head to look at her, then smirking. "You wet your bed 'sometimes,' huh?"
Anna blushed, fidgeting uncomfortably. "D-Did you check me?" she asked, grateful she'd taken precautions if that was the case.
"What? No," Karissa shook her head. "Your diaper is just sagging below your nightgown."
Anna's eyes widened, looking downwards, still squirming. "O-Oh, I guess so," she noted, tugging at the hem of the gown. "I-I didn't realize how short this was," she added, justifying her reaction, considering she really ought to be used to how much she usually wet at night, how droopy that would make her diapers.
"That's why I told you that you ought to change before supper," Karissa shrugged, fortunately not appearing to find the response suspicious. "Though I think you need to change more than that, don't you?"
Anna blushed, staring down at her feet, feeling very much like a little sister getting teased. "Y-Yeah, I guess so," she admitted. "C-Could you...?" The redness deepened as she remembered how Mrs. Florez had essentially forbidden her from changing her own diaper. Unless they had texted about it, she hadn't really had a chance to tell Karissa that, and she wasn't sure how mad the woman would get if Anna didn't obey. If Karissa didn't say yes, would Anna have to toddle out of the bedroom, go searching for Mrs. Florez, hoping she didn't run into Adrian on the way?!
"Sure," Karissa replied, prompting Anna to spread out her changing pad, getting everything out and ready before obediently lying down, lifting up her skirt helpfully. Karissa knelt down next to her, ripping open the tapes and folding the front of the diaper open, then pausing. "Uh-oh," she said. "Looks like your rash hasn't gotten any better."
Her rash! Anna had almost forgotten about that! Maybe embarrassment wasn't the only reason she'd been struggling to stand still since she'd gotten up... "N-No, I guess not," she shook her head, cheeks glowing.
"I'm surprised mom didn't do anything about it," Karissa commented. Mrs. Florez had searched for cream to treat it, but gotten distracted by Anna's onesie, as had Anna. The woman had put plenty of stuff onto her bottom, yet Anna had no clue whether she had found what she was looking for or not, though it was certainly starting to seem like the latter.
"I-I might not have any cream in my bag," Anna mumbled.
"I'd think that would be an essential for someone who wears all the time, and has somebody else change her," Karissa said. Anna gulped, wondering again if the girl was seeing through her lies.
"W-We ran out not that long ago, so I opened up what I had got to take with me, and I-I think I forgot to put it back with the other supplies for the trip," Anna improvised.
"Hmm," Karissa nodded. "Well, the best thing would probably be to let you run around bottomless for a bit to get some fresh air on it, but it seems like that isn't an option, since I don't want to clean up any puddles, and we're going to have to see the rest of the family before long, so..." She slid a dry diaper under Anna, not even stopping to get Anna's opinion on the matter. "We probably have time to run to the store before we eat. You're definitely going to have to put on some real clothes, though."
"Okay." Anna had planned on doing that already, obediently toddling over to her suitcase as soon as her diaper was taped up, digging through her clothes.
She wished she'd thought to try her diapers on before now, so she could have done the same with her outfits. Pretty much all of them had come from the children's departments of various stores, when she'd found something cute and it fit her. Now that she'd spent some time in diapers, however, she realized how different they were from her usual big girl panties, how they could change things for her.
The dresses, especially, felt risky to her. She was pretty sure most of them were longer than the nightgown had been... Some of them were awfully close, though, and she'd just gotten a demonstration of what happened when she peed her Pampers in that size of skirt. A dress seemed a little formal, anyway, so, instead, she grabbed a pair of pink, denim shorts and a white t-shirt with heart-shaped polka dots all over it, crossing her fingers that they would fit.
She put the shorts on first, which did not bode well. They fastened, but it was a squeeze, and she was certain there was a bulge beneath them. The plastic waistband of her diaper definitely poked out above the top of the shorts, no matter how high she pulled them; thankfully, the shirt was long enough to cover that, if only just. With her Velcro sneakers, she felt like she looked like a toddler, especially in comparison to Karissa in her own shorts, much smaller and tighter, and her crop top, and shoes with real laces. Who would ever look at the two of them together and think Anna was the same age as her, that Karissa wasn't her big sister, or babysitter?
The skeptical expression on Karissa's face when she looked down and saw what Anna had put on cemented the difference, Anna blushing, wondering if she ought to try another outfit before the other girl shrugged. "All right, let's go!"
Karissa grabbed her keys from her desk and headed out the door before Anna could make up her mind, much less say anything about it, leaving her scrambling to catch up, waddling after her, constantly tugging on the hem of her shirt to ensure it was low enough. Karissa led her through the kitchen, where Mrs. Florez was chopping up vegetables and Mr. Florez was attending to a pot on the stove.
"We're running to the store," Karissa informed her.
"Can't it wait?" Mrs. Florez asked. "This will be done in..."
"Anna forgot to pack something important, and she's itching to get it as soon as possible," Karissa put it as delicately as she could, emphasizing the 'itch' for her mother's benefit, while hopefully keeping her father ignorant of the meaning.
"Ahh," Mrs. Florez gave the blushing Anna a wink. "Good plan. Be back as soon as you can, though!"
"We will!" Karissa promised, guiding Anna out of the house and to her car. Anna half expected to be told to sit in the back, but Karissa didn't tell her to do that, or say anything when she took the front passenger's seat, buckling herself in for a short ride down the street to a small convenience store. "Don't worry, I know they have it here," Karissa told Anna, seeing her eye the store anxiously, fretting about going into public in this outfit. "I've had to make a few emergency runs here while I was babysitting."
"O-Okay," Anna nodded. She debating asking Karissa if she could get it by herself, but that seemed rude when it was Anna's, and something she ought to have remembered to bring. She got out of the car, walking as carefully as she could, wincing at the crinkles she heard with every step.
Karissa led them right to the appropriate aisle, grabbing one of the creams. "There we go!" She began to head for the checkout, then paused. "Sorry... Is this okay? It's the one I always get, but if you have a preference..."
"I'm sure it's fine," Anna told her, before making herself continue, reminding herself she ought to know at least a little on this subject. "W-We have different brands back home, so I wouldn't even know where to start here!"
"I think it's going to work great for you," Karissa promised her, starting to walk again. "It's been..."
"Karissa?!"
Karissa and Anna both stopped in their tracks, turning to see a group of girls their age, all gathered around the snack racks at the front of the store, until they saw they were right, and all rushed over. Anna shrank back, feeling so tiny compared to all of them, so petite, so childish, irregardless of her outfit, although that definitely didn't help.
"I thought you were in..." one of them exclaimed.
Karissa rolled her eyes. "It's a long story."
Anna nibbled her bottom lip as she glanced back at Karissa, seeing the diaper rash cream in her hand, certain she saw the other girls spotting it, too, then looking at her. Did they see the bulge of her diaper? Hear the crinkling as she fidgeted? Did they know it was for her?!
"And who is this?" another girl giggled, bending down to look Anna in the eyes. "Hi, cutie!" She giggled again as Anna shyly lowered her head, too overwhelmed to answer. "Do you have a new babysitting client?"
Anna didn't dare look to Karissa, to see her reaction. Would she be too embarrassed to introduce Anna as their peer, as someone she was going to have to live with for the semester? Surely they'd find out the truth sooner or later, if they went to the same school... They might not, however, might have graduated already, or go to a different school... Or maybe Karissa saw her relationship with Anna as a babysitter and client, rather than two equals, which, honestly, was fair...
Anna couldn't bring herself to say anything on her own. All she could do was stand there, squirming, adjusting her shirt frantically, waiting to see what Karissa was going to say.
Will Karissa say...
"No, she's our foreign exchange student. She's pretty cool."?
"No, she's the foreign exchange student we got stuck with."?
Or, "Yes, actually. Isn't she cute? Say hi, Anna!"?
