Derrick's Awakening - Chapter 16
🕑 Added 2023-04-10 12:00:01 +0000 UTC"I think the first thing we need to do," Nanny told Derrick with a smile, "is get you into some play clothes so you can run around and get dirty."
It spoke a lot to where Derrick's head was at that, upon hearing that word, his cheeks began to glow red, the first image that came to mind being that of him filling his diaper. Nanny had said he wasn't allowed to use her potty anymore, so if he did have to go, that was what would happen... Why would he need a special outfit for that, though?
Of course, that wasn't what she meant at all, which only made him blush harder upon realizing that, wondering if Nanny had, somehow, deduced that was what he was thinking about. "We wouldn't want you to mess these up, now would we?" she said, brushing some invisible dust off of his shirt.
"N-No, ma'am," he shook his head. "B-But I didn't bring anything else..."
"That's all right," she cooed, giving his leg a pat. "Up, please." Obediently, he lifted his feet, letting her pull his shoes, and then the sweatpants, off of them, whisking them away, leaving him in his shirt and diaper again, like last time. "Nanny has plenty of spare clothes around... You never know when somebody might spring a leak!"
He fidgeted, his instinct to stare down at his feet, although when he did that, he looked right into her eyes, just making it more awkward as he began to nibble his lip, afraid to look away. It was the kind of remark that, if he'd heard it off-handedly, now that he'd discovered this interest of his, would have made him embarrassed anyway... Now, having it directed at him, certain that Mrs. Holland was doing it intentionally, only amplified that.
"Y-You have some in my size?" he asked quietly.
Nanny chuckled. "Why wouldn't I, silly? Come on."
She took him by the hand, leading him back to the nap room. He waddled along behind her, feeling pleasantly tiny after that response, just the way, he had to assume, she'd intended. She always knew exactly what to say, what to do, to make him forget that he was a grown-up, that they were playing pretend and he wasn't, in fact, actually enrolled in her babysitting service.
"Now, don't worry," she told him as they walked, "we're going to go shopping, too, sometime, and get you some other things to wear, but I found this in the back of the closet and thought it would be perfect for today."
She let go of his hand in the middle of the room, setting his sweatpants down on the bed, opening up the closet door and pulling out a hanger that had a light green t-shirt on it with a picture of a puppy in the center, and a pair of denim shortalls. Derrick's eyes widened, staring at them, taking in the childishness of the outfit, spotting the snaps in the crotch that made it obvious these were made for someone in diapers, for a toddler... And yet, sure enough, it did appear to be the right size for him.
"B-But..." he blinked up at her, shocked. "H-How...? Wh-Where...?"
"I told you," she draped the outfit across the changing table, then patted him on the head before sliding his own shirt up and over his head, putting it with his pants, "Nanny has plenty of spare outfits."
Was she telling the truth? She couldn't possibly have just happened to have something like that lying around... Could she? He wasn't small enough to fit into the same clothes her real charges did, was he?! She must have bought it for him specifically... Then again, he did fit in the diapers her charges wore, didn't he? Maybe he was that little...
"Arms," she broke him out of his reverie with a reminder, and he raised his arms, letting her pull the puppy shirt over his head, straightening out the hem where it fell, just below the waistband of his diaper. It didn't just fit him, it fit him perfectly, as if it had been made for him.
The shortalls were the same, Nanny holding them open for him, having him step into them. They slid up his legs, cradling his diaper as she fastened the buckles over his shoulders, stepping back to survey her work with a satisfied grin. "Oh, silly Nanny!" she giggled. "I almost forgot the last thing... You can't run around the park in your socks, can you?"
"I-I can go get my shoes!" he offered, wanting to be helpful, to be a good little boy for her, feeling more like one than ever as he wiggled his padded bottom in the outfit.
"No, no, don't worry about that," she said. "You sit down here for me, okay?"
She patted the edge of the changing table with a crinkle. He stepped onto the stool, then plopped down on the soft surface, his diaper and the cover of the table both crackling. He blushed and fidgeted, starting to nibble his lip as he looked across the room at the bed, seeing his adult clothes lying there, discarded.
"Oh, that's right," Mrs. Holland smirked. "There was one other thing, too." She reached under the table, grabbing something, lifting it to his face and pressing it to his lips. "Open up, Derrick!"
He did, to ask her what it was, though as soon as he had she answered by slipping the bulb into his mouth. "Paci?" he mumbled past it in surprise, raising his hand, feeling the shield in front of his face in shock.
"That's right!" she clapped. "Good job, sweetie! I noticed how much you were chewing on yourself and had a little talk with your Mommy, and we decided this was a good idea."
He blushed, watching her clip the attached leash to the pocket on the bib of the shortalls. It didn't feel bad, by any means... It was kind of nice, actually. Was it taking things too far, however? He couldn't deny that he was dressed immaturely, but unless someone knew what to look for, they might not notice the snaps on the crotch of the shortalls, or the bulge of his diaper... This, on the other hand, seemed like a billboard, advertising his babyhood to anyone and everyone, inviting them to spot those other things...
Before he could get up the courage to point that out, Nanny was headed back to the closet, returning with a pair of Velcro sneakers, fastening them onto his feet to complete the ensemble, helping him down off of the changing table, finally leading him to a mirror to admire the full transformation.
The effect left him nearly dazed, staring into his reflection, feeling his mouth slowly begin to nurse his paci. It was hard to believe that was him until his began to squirm, and saw the person in the mirror do the same. There wasn't a shred of adulthood left there, no trace that he was anything more than what he appeared to be... A little boy, ready to be taken to the park by his Nanny, who was beaming proudly behind him, seeing his reaction.
"All right," she prompted after a few moments, giving his hand a tug. "We'd better get going. We don't want to spend all day stuck inside, do we?"
Did he? That was what Derrick was used to, how he always spent his time when he was diapered... But it wasn't what his Nanny wanted him to do, and, as mortifying as it would be, should anyone he knew see him this way, he was definitely curious to see what it would be like to leave that safety, to go out... And he wanted to be a good boy obey his Nanny.
He sucked a little harder on his pacifier and shook his head, forgetting, again, to ask if he had to keep the paci in, if perhaps they could take it slower with that. When they got to the park, he told himself. He'd do it then... Nobody would see it as Nanny led him through the house into the garage, after all, as she opened up the back door for him, and he saw a booster seat waiting for him.
A memory of the time he'd stayed for dinner, when he'd thought, for a split second, that Mrs. Holland had discovered his secret and was going to make him eat in it, flooded through his mind... This time, however, he knew it wasn't a mistake, that it was really going to happen. "Let's get you buckled in!" she cooed, helping him into it, pulling the straps snugly over him. Just like the clothes, and the diapers, the seat fit him perfectly, making him feel so very tiny, so babyish...
She closed the door and walked around to the front seat, starting up the car. She didn't pull out of the garage yet, though, pushing some buttons in the front, making the screen on the back of the seat in front of him light up. "This should help keep you entertained on the trip," she told him with a smile, handing him a container of cereal puffs, like she had that first day, when all this had begun; this time, there was no doubt it was intentional.
He nodded, feeling like he had permission to pull the pacifier out of his mouth so he could pop a few puffs in instead, focusing hard on the screen as the car began to move, to back out of the garage, and he saw the real world outside the windows, his self-consciousness returning, mind churning with the many ways this trip - fun as it seemed - could go wrong.
The show she'd put on for him wasn't familiar, wasn't anything he could recall having watched when he was a kid, so he assumed it must have been something newer, something her other charges liked. He could see why, too, with all the bright colors, and the cute characters who seemed to delight in acting like babies, despite seeming, somehow, too old for it, encouraging their watchers to do the same, and it didn't take long for him to start to enjoy it, settling into his booster seat, nibbling on his cereal puffs, just waiting for the title screen to pop up so he could try to remember to look the show up for himself, to maybe watch some at home when he wanted to relax.
"Naomi and Oliver," he mumbled to himself when he saw it, nodding along as he read the screen. In a weird way, it felt like he'd found his new best friends...

His friend who the girl he plays video games with should appear at the park or in a carseat next as a baby in diapers so that he has a playmat & that fact she secretly wants to be a baby with him

I would love to see a Naomi and Oliver themed short cartoon, or picture book. Maybe even a coloring book, sounds like an amazing show!
Yeah, I didn't think it was either. If so, he's definitely permanently trapped

Wait... I'm going to have to re-read this again. Has this been set in the dimension this whole time...? Whelp, he's a goner now! I like where you're going! 🙂
Well, those names feel somewhat familiar. Does nanny have more malicious intentions I wonder?
