The Hardest Thing - Chapter 1
🕑 Added 2023-04-08 12:00:02 +0000 UTCThe start of a new story, commissioned by Mashugana.
It may have been the hardest thing Heidi had ever had to do, or, at the very least, that was how it felt to her in the lead-up, as she psyched herself up for it. So many times, she'd told herself it would never happen, that things wouldn't work out, and then, when they did, she tried to convince herself they were going to fall through, that it had been a mistake that someone was going to figure out at any moment. When that didn't happen, she pondered, for a little while, if she ought to quit.
But, in the end, she knew that was silly. She had a good job, and it had allowed her to experience this in the first place... Now, it was going to be even better, give her the opportunity to afford more, to push things further. It was just too bad she was being moved to a completely different city, away from the woman who had introduced her to it all.
Calling the start of it 'innocent' seemed odd, when so many people would consider it the opposite. Compared to what it had become, though... All she'd wanted to do was satisfy her curiosity, one that had been building up ever since the first time she'd seen a picture of a dominatrix. She'd always thought other women were pretty, sure, if not enough so for her to want to date them or anything... Seeing one of them in leather, with those high, pointy heels, whip in hand... It had awoken something in her, roused a tingling in her tummy, and a bit further below, that she didn't know what to do with.
So, as soon as she had a little money, she'd had to try it, just to see. One session wouldn't hurt anything, right? She'd come out slightly poorer, and probably sore, but she could say she'd done it and move on. Maybe, after she got a little distance from it, it would make a funny story to tell at parties, if she framed it as something she did as a joke, or that she allowed herself to get talked into when she was drunk, rather than admitting it had been sitting in the back of her mind, taunting her, for years.
From the moment she'd seen Mistress Kasia, when the woman had opened up the door and smirked down at her, she'd known she was in trouble, that things weren't going to be as simple as all that. She looked so tall, so strong, so sexy, more than her pictures had been able to convey, and Heidi, despite her heterosexuality, had been practically drooling over those. She hadn't felt so plain, so mousy, since the locker room in high school when the rest of the girls had started getting boobs well before her.
"I-I think I have the wrong..." she'd stammered, chickening out, backing away, face burning bright red, not certain if this had been a mistake or not, just that she wasn't ready to let herself be tied up and whipped by this goddess.
Mistress Kasia had calmly reached out, confidently grabbing Heidi's purse, using it to reel the smaller woman in, then sliding her hand inside, rummaging through it as if it were hers, paying no mind to Heidi's mumbled protests, not stopping until she'd found her wallet and pulled it out, flipping it open and looking at the driver's license inside. "No, Heidi," she'd grinned, putting it back into the purse. "You are exactly where you belong. Come in."
Heidi had gulped, gawking at her, far too intimidated to say no, and almost too much to obey. She might still be there to this day, in front of Mistress Kasia's door, eyes wide, had the woman not taken her hand and guided her inside. "It's your first time," she'd observed, the words not a question, simply a statement of fact, so positive in its truthfulness that Heidi had to wonder if she'd mentioned it in their e-mails, or if she was just that obvious.
She'd nodded, nibbling on her bottom lip. "Y-Yeah," she'd replied. It seem unnecessary, but staying silent felt even more awkward. "S-Sorry..."
It had been Mistress Kasia's laugh that sealed the deal for her, that put the final nail in Heidi's coffin. It wasn't mean, and yet, somehow, it still made her feel so tiny, so silly, compared to the dominatrix. "What are you apologizing for?" she'd asked. "Everyone has to have a first time."
"Y-Yeah," Heidi had repeated, which only amplified the sensation, as if that was all she knew how to say. "I-I just... I-I was..."
Mistress Kasia had bent over, hands on her knees, Heidi's eyes immediately drawn to her chest, the cleavage nearly pouring out of her tight dress. She wasn't even in her leather yet - Heidi supposed that wasn't the most practical outfit to answer her door in, especially if it had turned out to be a neighbor, or a delivery person - and already, Heidi was entranced, entrapped. "Take a deep breath, little one. I promise, it won't hurt... any more than you want it to."
'Little one.' The term sent a bolt of lightning down Heidi's spine. She couldn't say that was the way she'd expected to be addressed by the Mistress; perhaps that was why it hit as hard as it had. It didn't help that Mistress Kasia was looking her right in the eye as she said it, that she held her gaze while they stood there, giving Heidi a chance to calm down as much as possible, considering it felt like the woman was peering into her soul, reading her mind, boring deeper than even Heidi herself had conscious access to.
"There we go," Mistress Kasia had told her after a few moments. "That's better! Now, then... If you're ready, I think I know exactly what you need."
Heidi had swallowed, nodded, let herself be led further into the apartment. Whether she was actually prepared or not, she wasn't sure, she just knew she didn't want to waste any more of the woman's time. She might change her mind once she was taken into the dungeon and saw the stockade she'd seen in the dominatrix's photos, the cross, the other equipment, so dark and imposing...
But that wasn't where she was taken, what she saw when Mistress Kasia opened up the door to the room she'd taken Heidi to, not realizing she was holding her breath until she released it all at once in shock as she was faced with, rather than the black and neon of the dungeon, a room that was pink and soft, with fluffy carpet, and toys meant to be genuinely played with, not used to inflict pain.
"Wh-What is...?" she'd frowned, staring up at Mistress Kasia in confusion.
"Don't argue, little one," Mistress Kasia had cooed, her voice suddenly both softer and more stern at the same time, like she was talking not to another adult, but a naughty little girl. "Just lift your skirt for Mommy so I can check your panties."
Heidi had squirmed, hands going to her skirt, indeed, though to tug it downwards, hold it firmly in place. "I-I don't..." she'd shaken her head.
"Heidi," Mistress Kasia had sighed, sounding for all the world like this was a conversation they had had a million times before. "You know you can't fool Mommy... I know your panties are wet."
"Wh-What?!" Heidi had squealed, her grip on her skirt tightening, which only made it seem more like the other woman was right. And, to be fair, she was... All of this had been too much for Heidi, and she had felt a few anxious dribbles make their way into her underwear. Had Mistress Kasia really been able to tell?!
Mistress Kasia had put her hands on her hips, glaring down at Heidi, who could almost feel herself shrinking more and more with each passing moment. "We've talked about this, young lady. I've given you chance after chance, but I warned you that if you went pee-pee in your pants one more time, you were going to have to go back to Pampers. Did you think I was joking?"
"P-Pampers?!" Heidi's heart had began to thump wildly in her chest as she peered around the room again, this time looking more closely at the shelves under the changing table, seeing the stacks of bulky, folded up padding and plastic. She must have spotted them before, in passing, refused to believe that was what they were, or that they were for anything more than show. "I-I don't... M-Mistress..."
"No, sweetie," Mistress Kasia had smiled. "Little girls like you call me Mommy. And since you're raising a fuss, I am going to march you to the bathroom to go get my wooden hairbrush, and then I'm going to take you over my knee, paddle your backside pink, tape it into a nice, thick diaper, and then put you in the corner where you belong."
If Heidi's panties hadn't been wet before, they would have been after that. Her head started to spin in humiliation and disbelief, both at what she'd been threatened with, and how much the idea of it turned her on, at least when Mistress Kasia was going to be the one doing it to her. Hearing it all laid out like that, there was only one thing she could have said to it.
"Y-Yes, Mommy..."
Heidi had said that a lot since then, in so many more situations than she ever would have dreamed were possible, or that she'd have the guts to go through with. She'd spent plenty of nights in Mommy's nursery, tucked securely into her oversized crib, and if she couldn't do that, she was always sent home with a fresh diaper under her skirt, with strict instructions not to dare take it off the next morning until Mommy had given her permission, even if it meant having to go to work with a soaked diaper under her suit, as she had more than once.
Usually, Mommy would let her change once she woke up and sent a picture, proving she'd 'wet the bed.' She didn't actually do that, of course, had never, for as long as she could recall, done that... Mommy knew it pushed her buttons, though, after Heidi had confessed she'd made fun of a girl who had a sleepover in high school and felt guilty about it for years afterwards, that it almost felt like divine retribution, the idea that she did it now, as a fully grown adult, a professional. And it did seem like she did at times, when she had to pee before she went to bed and couldn't remove her diaper without Mommy's permission, when she wet herself and had no choice other than to sleep in it, and wake up soggy. If it didn't happen that night, it would in the morning, thus giving Mommy all the evidence she needed to justify keeping Heidi in diapers during their sessions... Not that she really needed it. It did add to the embarrassment of it for Heidi, however, and she assumed that was the point.
Those days when Mommy wouldn't let her change in the morning were even more mortifying, having to face her bosses - and, worst, her subordinates - like that, but they were worth it, because they always meant she was going to get a visit at some point during the day, that Mommy was going to come see her, that they were going to close the door to her office and draw the blinds so that she could get changed right there on her desk, either into a fresh diaper, or a pair of Pull-Ups, though, obviously, never panties. According to Mommy, she was far too little for those.
Heidi was going to miss all of that a ton, and Mommy more. She knew it was the right thing to do, and Mommy had confirmed that for her, even made some recommendations for professional Mommies in the city she was moving to. Still, there would never be any as good as her first... And this was the last time she was going to be with her, at least for a while. She might visit, from time to time, but it wasn't the same as knowing she was right across town...
She had plenty of friends, and saying goodbye to them had been difficult; this, as embarrassing as it was to admit, was harder. She sighed, staring at Mommy's apartment door, then, finally, lifting her hand to give a knock. Mommy opened it almost instantly, Heidi blushing, realizing she'd probably been waiting, watching her work up the courage to announce her presence one last time.
"Hello, little one," Mommy smiled. "Are you ready for a very special day?"
Heidi nodded and stepped inside. It was, indeed, very special, with Mommy forgoing the usual frilly, over-the-top baby outfits she loved to dress Heidi up in, letting her stay in just a t-shirt and diaper the whole time, the outfit that, for whatever reason, always made Heidi feel the most babyish, giving her her own copy of her favorite coloring books and a fresh pack of crayons to take with her, even letting her breastfeed at snacktime, something that, normally, she was only allowed to do on her birthday.
She should have known there would be a catch, that, even today, Mommy wasn't going to be all sweetness and light... And, to be fair, she didn't want her to be, as nice and comforting as it all was. She did like that side of Mommy, but it wasn't what had drawn Heidi to her in the first place.
They'd already said their goodbyes, Heidi crying hard enough for Mommy to give her a pacifier to soothe her, and Heidi was getting ready to head out, picking up the bag she'd stashed her clothes in so she could go get dressed when Mommy stopped her, planting herself in her path. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked.
"I-I'm just..." Heidi sniffled from behind her paci. "I-I'll keep my diaper on, Mommy." Of course she would; she always did. Did Mommy think she had forgotten?
"Yes, I know," Mommy said condescendingly. "And you'll keep the rest of your outfit on, too, little one."
Heidi gasped, a shiver running through her. She knew what this was... She'd confessed, long ago, that one of her deepest, darkest fantasies since this had begun was to have to go out in public with her diaper on display, to be forced to show everyone what a baby she truly was... Mommy had toyed with it a bit, taking her to the park in dresses short enough to flash her padding, or pulling up her shirt enough so the waistband would show, but Heidi had never had the guts to go all the way.
"M-Mommy!" Heidi stared up at her, quivering.
"You only have to go to your car," Mommy assured her. "If you want to put your skirt back on in there before you go into your own apartment building, you can. But until then..."
It was, Heidi knew, the perfect opportunity. She wouldn't be back here for a long time, if ever... By the time she returned, Mommy might be in a new apartment building, or her neighbors might have all moved. If any of them saw her now, it would be mortifying, but... Wasn't that what she wanted?
"Come on, Heidi," Mommy encouraged her. "One more for the road."
Heidi could hardly believe this was happening... Or that she was feeling herself start to nod, to accept it. "O-Okay, Mommy," she mumbled from behind her paci. "I-If you say so..."
"I do," Mommy told her sternly. "And if you keep trying to put it off, I'm going to give you an enema first!"
Heidi blushed, practically scrambling for the door, Mommy right behind her, keeping her from turning back, from changing her mind. Heidi turned the doorknob, but it was Mommy who pushed it open, who send Heidi out it with a firm pat on the bottom, stepping out with her to watch her toddle down the hallway, every crinkle sounding like a crack of thunder. It was thrilling, no question, though she was grateful there was nobody else there...
Until, suddenly, there was, an apartment door opening right beside her. She froze for a moment, catching the gaze of the woman standing there, wincing as she realized it was the one person she'd hoped it wouldn't be, the tall, statuesque woman with black hair and blue eyes that she'd caught a few glimpses of on her way to and from Mommy's apartment, who might have been, after Mommy, the second most attractive woman Heidi had ever seen.
Heidi sucked harder on her pacifier, feeling trapped in the gorgeous woman's eyes, seeing them pointed downwards, at her crotch, her stomach churning as she felt a trickle of anxious wetness in her diaper, both sensations growing as she reminded herself she had nothing on over that diaper, that it was very possible the woman could tell she was peeing her pants, while her fear over that just prompted her, antithetically, to go more, thus making it that much more likely that her accident would be visible.
She wanted to say something, to give some explanation, some justification... But what? How could she get out of this?! She couldn't... The only thing she could do was tell the truth, that she was her Mommy's sweet, silly little baby... And that much was clearly already obvious. She had no doubt the woman knew, too, her eyes having stayed fixed on Heidi's diaper from the moment she'd seen it. All she could do was force herself to start toddling away again, heading off to the elevator, and her new life.
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
"You see?" Wonder Woman exclaimed, her heart skipping a beat as she saw it, finally. After what the others had told her, she hadn't been sure what to expect, how long they were going to watch the other version of her on the monitor to be satisfied that their conclusion was wrong, but, at last, she could see that the wait was, indeed, worth it.
"Hmm," Batgirl tilted her head. Despite her younger age, and smaller stature, there was something about this one of Bruce's proteges that unsettled Diana the most, at least right now. She'd never met anyone as skilled at reading body language, at deciphering the smallest twitch, the tiniest squirm... She'd felt like she was in the hot seat ever since the girl had come to her, told her there was something she needed to see.
It had been the Silver Sorceress who had actually opened the window into the other world, though, who had tried to prove what Batgirl had claimed. It had been such a strange thing to say, so absurd that it had to be a joke, while, at the same time, being almost too strange for that, for Batgirl, of all people, to have come up with out of nowhere.
"In basically every world we've looked in," she'd said, "you've been... Well... In diapers."
"What do you mean, every world?" Wonder Woman had asked, not sure if that was the right part of the statement to focus on, but too taken by surprise by the rest to focus on it yet.
"We haven't looked at all of them, obviously," Batgirl had replied. "But right now, we estimate about 99.99% of them."
As ridiculous as it all was, Diana had to see for herself, had to have them give her a glimpse. And, already, she could see they'd made a mistake. "It's a false reading!" she insisted. "That girl the other me ran into in the hall was the one in diapers, not me! And if there's one false reading, there must be others!"
"I don't know," the Sorceress said uncertainly. "Some of the others we've seen..."
"She's not going to believe us until she sees it for herself," Batgirl interrupted.
Diana shrugged, nodded. "She's right," she admitted. "If this thing you made is just picking up on people near me in diapers... I could just be living next to someone who has a baby in the other worlds, or..."
She wanted to believe it was as simple as that, that the other heroes were wrong... She couldn't deny, however, that in that split second, as she'd seen the other her on the screen step out of her apartment, find that woman standing there in diaper and t-shirt, that there had been something there, something in her eyes... Something that Batgirl may very well have picked up on, too.
"Fine," the Silver Sorceress told her. "If you want to peek at another world, we can do that. But I don't think you're going to like what you see..."
