Agreed! That would help a lot. It just seems like there’s been a lot of equipment issues the last few seasons that has led to undercooking things. They really should have these things ready for them so they have a shot of getting something fully cooked out for judging. It just seems unfair to them and the judges.

I do know on most cooking shows they always have the oven preheated and at least one pot of water at a rolling boil. Maybe that needs to start happening.

I think that really would be helpful for the audience. I'm sure there are times where the final product are what they are because of the guys' timing decisions. I just really don't think enough time was given to get water at that quantity up to a boil. Maybe a once a season time bonus, 20 extra minutes at any part of the cooking process that. Probably not feasible, as most of the time constraints seem to be production-timing related, but would be a fun twist.

I wonder if it would be helpful for us in the audience if they were calling time consistently like they do in food network shows. Then maybe it wouldn't seem so frustrating? And it would give the guys the benefit of helping them keep track.

They pick the right people for this episode and all of the commentary was amazing. I was laughing so hard. And do think Keith and Ned need different stoves to boil their water for the noodles but overall it was an amazing episode and I enjoyed every moment of it. Y’all really made my week ☺️
