Changing up the benefits
🕑 Added 2022-12-24 16:56:06 +0000 UTCThe whole update delay thingy based on a patron tier feels really uncomfortable to me, and updates get leaked and pirated immediately anyways, so you're not really getting anything in return for your support this way. I think it would be best to leave this concept behind and release updates for everyone at the same time, and on top of that, I'm pretty sure these early releases are not the reason the majority of you supports the project. So let's make it more productive and meaningful, I'll make a discord dev-wips channel patron-only and keep you always updated there on the things I'm adding to the game the moment I do it, + we'll have like actual polls on patreon to kinda develop this game together, and decide which enemies to add and etc. Maybe I'll come up with more benefits later on but right now I'm just really tired of the release-delays and want you to know that upfront.
It also means that all 3 tiers will most likely have same benefits. If you have any questions/suggestions regarding benefits or whatever - feel free to dm me here or on discord.
Thank you for your support. v0.0.6 releases tomorrow.

I've always disliked tier delayed drops. I mean, it is a way to reward higher tiers and push better subscription draws, but I think it only really works on really big projects, and only so well. This will be a good change I think.
