updating tavern bgs
🕑 Added 2025-03-15 07:50:50 +0000 UTCCurrently working on a tavern tileset. In previous versions, I would just use giant background images that were premade and constant, meaning I didn't really had a way to redesign the tavern unless I made a whole set of new big sprites which require a lot of work.
Instead of doing the same thing, I decided to settle on tilesets. I can construct the tavern level by using premade tiles and rearrange them however I'd like. It also brings an opportunity of adding different styles to the tavern, and a way to perhaps even generate the tavern procedurally (I wouldn't go as far as actually randomizing the structure of the tavern, room location and etc., just the visuals)
This specific tileset in the image isn't optimal - I can probably divide it into "background material" (stone wall, concrete wall) and "overlay structure" (wooden beams, supports, roof), which should give me more freedom.
So uhhh yeah just wanted to show it off. v0.3 will still have the same room layout as previous versions did, but I'm going to add more rooms - I need a kitchen and a basement-storage room.
Also NUDITY JUMPSCARE I've been learning to draw recently and might occasionally post some nsfw arts and stuff. I want to eventually draw some CGs for Innventure, would be pretty cool
