The fact that Chris’s mom passed from cancer too kills me

Team Conrad girlie here for sure. The way he looks at her is just beautiful - he just can't help himself. He's in pain to be with her, but painful to not be as well. It does make sense that he moved away, and I am glad he did because he has healed and grown up a lot, but of course he has a way to go. But he is really becoming an incredible man. That scene with Susannah just broke me - I cried so much. I was empathetic for Chris the actor as he lost his mum to cancer when he was a teenager and I can't imagine how hard that scene was to film for him - and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's the first time we see Conrad cry, like actually shed a tear I mean, and not just be teary-eyed. He did so good in that scene. I lost my mum to cancer when I was 11 and I just don't know how he did that even a few years after the fact, I couldn't do that now and I'm 33. All respect to him. Just a brilliant episode all round. Truly think Belly has been more herself in the episode and even though Conrad's hurting he smiled a lot through this one, which is just lovely. And I am happy that Jere got some credit from Adam too.
