Nicely done.

probably, but id expect a high level of difficulty and likely hood if premature boom. depends on what qualifies as 'damage'.

The instinct to distrust their people and lie is certainly realistic. It is also one of my least favorite attributes of gov't officials, who routinely condescend to their moral and intellectual superiors.

Monroe is always my favorite part of Monroe. Bob's okay too, but he isn't usually a cat.

Might explain that away as requiring antimana to summon. Or just being beyond the power of the system, no need for it to be omnipotent. But considering gunpowder is an option, I can't think of a reason why other, more powerful explosives wouldn't be, or a reason why even a very low level person couldn't fill a dimensional backpack with enough conventional explosives to turn Harbordeep into a smoking crater. Never mind something like a missile or a semi-truck. Imagine an enhanced semi truck, loaded with our best nuclear weapons, portaled into Harbordeep. Though even if it killed the king he'd probably come back to life with that resurrection blessing. And the REALLY scary part? Not even close to the kind of damage you could do by simply moving a big enough rock to the right spot in the solar system for an extinction level meteor. Magic gets exponentially more scary as you apply more science to it.

Phillip Hunsicker

For pure explosive might, can people summon antimatter? I would expect the system to have protections against that as killing off planets would reduce the circulation of dark matter. You know some idiot, would try it just to see.

just cause tbere are no spells to create unstable matter now ;-)

LOL, they're actually handling it pretty well. It's a good thing Bob explained the uranium issue before they thought of it. Hmm, I wonder if a summoner summoning a ball of dense plasma could hold it until a chronomancer casts stasis on it, making a bomb?

Andrew

Thank you!
