Large amounts of gold raises flags in the system. I'd suggest something like Neodymium which is in huge demand. Maybe Yttrium?

Morton

Did anyone else notice if Nora or anyone else picked her bags back up? Did she grab them on the way or is that something for the P. I. to find and investigate?

Fu_Yu

I would switch copper for tin. In my country you can still sell it easily. There are other materials that are harder to sell lithium, cobalt, nickel, manganese and Iridium. Perhaps the copper is the best bet, it is the most low-key. There is always the gold.

Thanks for the chapter and awesome story

Richard Reid

Thanks for the catch(s)!

yeah. low level o's is ok but most of the upper level officers are purely political animals at this time. More than half the problem. Bob is essential but once you get those types involved they will try to marginalize everyone else as quickly as possible. I don't see how they could be useful unfortunately.

Richard Reid

I'd like to think that each perspective being shown is important in the story development or at least that's how I'm trying to write. I've tried to portray Nora as a slightly naive and innocent girl who had lived a very sheltered childhood before making a moral choice that thrust her into a world for which she was not prepared. Jack is a narcissist who is driven and ambitious and wholly intent on grabbing any advantage he can. Every side character I've written has a purpose in the story, some of them have served their purpose and are now regulated to showcasing information for the reader while others have yet to have had their shining moments.

Richard Reid

Kids are being taken around Earth because they're the ones with the portal spell. Or rather I should say they are the people of available who have the portal spell and are willing to do this. You can firmly place the blame for that on Bob who reached out to Eddi and his huge group of friends who are all bound together in the joy of the path of the endless swarm.

Josef Blumers

Why do I feel like you are poscrastinating with perspective switches?

A lot of thoughts mostly because I recently patreoned so its kind of an amalgamation of everything I consumed up to here; TBH, I don't see why Thayland!people are being taken around Earth. Especially children- if it were someone administrative-level, who could maybe work the logistics of merging the two worlds' abilities, I could squint and see a reason. Its also hard to wrap my head around why there is so much about bringing internet/gas-powered stuff to Thayland...the entire infrastructure that allows that level of tech is on a huge timer, for one, and second off there is a realm of magic. I haven't seen any indication of magitech fusion, though I recall an analogy of mana manipulation being likened to circuits so...that seems kind of where a low-level-technically-inclined person would be applying brainpower to. For the few snippets of Amber about how she also was theorycrafting on the food-supply side of managing the System-Apocalypse for Earthers, she is really absent...everything. It feels she's been kind of wasted and any character development left completely off screen. Which is fine, except even our main character seems to be sidelined with all the energy put into the Marine stuff. Which segues into... Okay, getting Military persons involved because its a lot of killing, okay. But for a story that started with a traumatized character, and has slowly explored his healing/growth/improved self-worth, its jarring that every single vet is 100% gung-ho for this (putting aside apparently all veterans are Marines for some reason but frankly that could just be conservation at work because digging into the nuances between the branches, for USA alone, is just...not worth the time imo). I was pretty happy with the commander who was pissed at being involuntary-reincarnated; but it is another dimension where the story has gotten weird. Its pushing guns like how I'd expect 'humanity fuck yeah' sort of story, despite already noting how they're really poor for the current use-case (need to be close to monsters for crystals). But it doesn't feel like there is a "rigid military persons vs imaginitive/flexible DnD peoples" going on in a kind of culture clash/mesh. It just feels like the Book 3 stuff is shifting hard into "Humanity Fuck Yeah" and away from Bob improving/healing/getting better, especially with the focus being so much on other characters.

You fool, Warren is dead!

If I'm correct, that's 216ft³ or 6.116m³. Copper weighs 8950kg per m³. Times 6.... That's a lot. I could be wrong though

You fool, Warren is dead!

Ok. How many people stopped to figure out how much a 6 foot cube of copper weighs?

Fu_Yu

The cat is out of the bag now. We will see how long it will take for people to take it seriously. It will be hoax at first I hope. Nora need to redeem herself in the future.

Andrew

Thank you!

Morton

And the battle for first continues!
