Part 3

Ghost rezips the duffel and places it by the door of John's Flat. walk over to the bed, and lay the items down.

They enter through the door of the old pub and are greeted by the ringing of a bell. It's empty inside. not a soul in sight.
A voice roared from behind the bar, "What's your poison stranger?"
The Barkeep's back is turned as he's polishing a beer mug but soon turns around.

Ghost is confused at this conversation taking place between John and the old man but continues to listen as his curiosity peaks.

Ghost and The barkeep looked at each other and then at John both equally confused.

They walk over and take a seat while John is tugging on Ghost's arm.

John can't see the expression on Ghost's face but he can tell he's upset about something.

"Simon, I was at this place last night just before I called you. I was feeling miserable and my mind was racing. The old man approached me and asked what was troubling me. I was hesitant to share, but he somehow managed to extract the information from my mind without me saying a word. I never mentioned you to him, he thought you were a bloody woman for fuck sake. It was thanks to him that I called you in the first place, he convinced me," John muttered eyes darting at the table breaking his gaze with Ghost.

"Simon, finish your beer I need to show you something," John requests as he chugged his beer down in one go.

John gets up, walks to the bar, thanks the barkeep, grabs Ghost by the hand, and walks outside.

As they walked down the narrow street John pointed out where the phone call took place.
"This is where I pressed call, but was too much of a coward at first to answer you back when you picked up," John explained to Ghost with frustration filling his head.
"Here I collapsed after you ended the call. I was sitting here for an hour unfocused. That old man found me here and helped me up," He continued, anger and tears filling his eyes as he dug his index finger into Ghost's chest.
"It's thanks to that old man that I called you in the first place, that we shared the moment outside my building. that we share whatever this is between us," John exclaimed.
"I don't know what you've done to me Ghost, I never cry like a little bitch but you...you," John argued, his voice cracked and fell to his knees and tears ran down his cheeks he muttered,"
"Simon you break me but all I want is to be with you."
Ghost knelt in front of him and spoke with a broken voice, "Johnny..., I'm sorry for everything I've put you through. I don't know why I act the way I do, I guess I'm insecure. I don't want to lose you, Johnny. You are the person I fight for during our missions. John's head is heavy with anger. He closes his eyes as Ghost's palms touch his face. Ghost rubs the tears off John's cheek with his thumbs, and then takes off his sunglasses and beanie. He removes his mask, giving one last sigh.

Ghost pleads. He gently takes John's hand and pulls him closer. John looks up at Ghost, In fear and jumps back falling to the ground when he finally sees the naked face of the man he cares so much for.
John sits back for a moment, breathing heavily as he takes in the face Ghost has been hiding for years.

"This is me... The monstrous face of a killer," Ghost muttered with a trembling voice. He bowed his head and tears filled his eyes as he became utterly vulnerable with him.
John sat up, moved in closer to Ghost, and studied his face.
Gently, John placed his palm on Ghost's cheek and lifted his face with the other hand, bringing their gazes towards each other.
"Simon, my dearest Si, no matter what you look like you are still my Ghost, I still care deeply for you no matter what,"
Ghost sat there on his knees, listening to what John had just said. It brought up emotions he had never felt or shown before, and tears streamed down his face.
Moving in closer, John reached out and wiped away Ghost's tears.
"Si, you're such an idiot," John said, creasing Ghost's cheek. "But I love you for it." He stood up and held out his hand to help Ghost up off the street.
Ghost looked up at John with surprise.
"What... What did you just say, Johnny?" He requests fearing he heard him wrong.
"You heard me," John answered, smiling.
Ghost stood up and gazed into John's blue eyes for a moment as one final tear trickled down his cheek. He then hugged John around his waist and leaned in for a kiss, their lips locking once more in a moment of pure emotion.
