Here to update you on the current state of Together in Spire v7 and it's upcoming updates and features.
However, before that I'd like to address the reason for my absence. While I find it very difficult to talk about, the past few months have brought some challenges and made me unable to focus on the project as much, which I wanted to be transparent about.
Apart from existing health struggles I've been tackling, my father has also been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of small intestine cancer 2 months ago. I've spent a lot of my time back in Croatia and working remotely, but recently traveled back as I couldn't remote long-term.
With that all happening, I was planning to make this update last Sunday, but more problems struck as my cat ended up in critical condition, which delayed my announcement until now. He's fighting with kidney issues and the prognosis is not looking amazing, but the vets are doing everything they can to try and save him.
All of this is not to justify the absence, but rather to be as transparent as possible about everything that's been happening.
Now, onto TiS v7. I've been slowly working on it in the background and am happy to say there will be a new update by the end of this month. Apart from various bugfixes, performance improvements, and minor QOL improvements, this update will also have full keyboard and controller support with new UI, alongside full Say the Spire support. Internally, DLib has been updated to handle all of these cases, and it's working great. What remains now is to clean it up in TiS and to fix all minor inconsistencies, and the update is ready to go.
Another upcoming feature is also Lag Compensation. The initial update of TiS v7 introduced a new networking system that was amazing for correctly syncing game states, allowing for many many more mods to be played, but that system relies on very low ping between the players, otherwise introducing lag.
With Lag Compensation, you'll be able to functionally play like TiS v6 plays now, meaning low to no lag, but with gameplay inconsistencies in high count mod setups. Ideally though, this system would still support modding on an improved scaled compared to the one found in v6.
This feature is implemented, but needs testing and refining, and so I'm not sure whether or not it'll make it in this update, or if it'll be pushed for early July.
I'll also keep you updated for the July's update plan as soon as everything's locked in.

hello I just join the patreon but my friend and I can't play the game with TiS Patreon version but in free version work just fine. I hope you can help us ASAP.
