Stranded in Space Updates Clarification

First, Patreon will always get game updates for all my games. This goes for all versions—this Patreon will likely be the only place to get mobile versions of any of my games. But to repeat: ALL versions of all my games will be updated on this Patreon.
Stranded in Space has always been something I've planned to release in three parts.
Stranded in Space 1 = Days 1-21. Day 21 is when Pandora arrives.
Then comes Stranded in Space 2, which will have several days as well.
Why split the game up? For many reasons, here are a few:
Game size - No one wants to download a 20GB AVN game. Ren'py mobile versions are limited to being 2GB in size. Right now, SiS is about 1.6 gb.
Manageability - This could be broken into multiple parts, but it's getting increasingly harder to develop SiS due to how many script files there are and how inefficient the systems I've put in place are that were put in from the beginning. I've built a house of cards, and a lot of what I do now is stack things on top of the house when what I need to do is destroy the house and rebuild using concrete.
Improvements - I bolded this one because it's the most vital. There are so many improvements coming to Stranded in Space 2. The focus behind most of those improvements is FASTER updates. This somewhat relates to the manageability point above, but yeah, there are a ton of good changes coming to Stranded in Space 2.
Not updating my games on Itch is being done for two reasons: taxes and the disrespect Leafo, the site owner, has shown me and several other game devs. He withheld several thousand of dollars from me for nearly 5 months and changed the rules of Itch on a moment's notice without any warning, discussion, or explanation. and overall hasn't been helpful or sympathetic to anything going on regarding AVN devs who got hit with the Payouts ban.
So... to summarize:
Patreon will always get game updates on all my games. I'm not going anywhere.
Stranded in Space 1 is just the beginning. If you could see what I'm already doing with Stranded in Space 2 right now... it's gonna be good.
Itch is the only website not getting any more updates.

I'm not doing much of anything differently, as of right now. How I code/program everything is mostly locked in for Stranded in Space 1. But in Stranded in Space 2 there will be a ton of improvements. One example is the way I program the laptop system. Right now, that's all done in Ren'py's Screens system, which is very inefficient and cumbersome. It's why you can't mousewheel back through messages during your chats, and why most of time when you reload you lose your progress with already-spoken-to girls. It's also why Stranded in Space has like 10 million variables, 80% of which are unnecessary. In general, Ren'py works best when you use its label system for control or conversations. It's simpler, more easier to expand on, and more performant. The laptop system in Stranded in Space 2 will be label-based. That's just one example, of course.

Just became a supporter after contemplating on it for months, you deserve it man, this game deserves it, I should have done it sooner. Rarely have I played a game with so much intrigue and attention to details as yours, the story is just goddamn great. And characters - I know every one of them by name and surname, their quirks and personalities, what they did and how they behave is so consistent throughout the whole game, while most of the AVNs feel like they are leading you on or you can feel instantly that female characters are written by a guy, this is just different, it feels "real" , you don't get that "oh this is just bullshit" like with others and it plays like an actual GAME. You have something golden here, keep it up. I usually have tons of ideas about what should be done, introduced etc, but for this one, i'm just strapping in and enjoying the ride. Thanks WildMan for making Stranded in Space, its fucking brilliant, cant wait to see how the game evolves and what other surprises you got in store for us. Keep up the amazing work!

The remaining Major Choices coming in the rest of the game will be after Day 18. Rendering multiple threesomes for choices = much longer time to release the game. However, there are like 4 unique sex scenes based off previously made choices coming in Day 18.

Will we actually be able to choose which 3somes we want to have or at least ask different ladies if they would like to do it with each other? Since the MC was given the choice by the ladies who asked for 3somes... ;-)

There are definitely a fair amount of threesomes incoming for Day 18 and beyond, but as shown with Day 17, there's room for 1 on 1 encounters, too. It's always going to be a mix. I appreciate your thoughts on this. From a rendering perspective, there's nothing more preferable than 1 on 1, lol.

So with SiS 2 your going to be revamping and making the base system it runs on so it’s smoother and nice for you to work on and I’m guessing your going to be using your next game in between SiS 1 and 2 to see how these system changes work and make improvements for yourself. (Not saying your new game is gonna be just a trial run for SiS 2 but it will give you more insight as to how ti make your games better is my guess) Apart from all that keep doing what your doing cause SiS is great and I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us mate!

17 seems a bit too forced into threesomes, do not get me wrong, obviously, I want them, but they are coming off as more required than having to set them up. Just my 2 cents.

Day 18 is the only thing I'm rendering right now. I won't be doing anything even remotely substantial on SiS 2 until Day 21 is either close to finished or completely finished.

I've bought from itch.io before. I won't buy from them again. To be honest it's no big deal for me not to do so, but when those I like and, as far as possible, trust are being hurt or are suffering injustice it becomes a matter of principle to withdraw any association or support, Also with Principle becoming a generally dying honour nowadays, it is increasingly encumbent upon me to uphold and abide by it.

If this were about anything other than Adult Visual Novels, Leafo would've gotten so much hate. But because erotic games are so evil and so despicable, he got away with the most unprofessional act I've ever personally been a part of.

Sorry to hear about your experience with Itch. I didn't comment on the previous post as I know 3 other developers that have made their voices heard regarding the latest changes. They are pulling their avns out of itch due to how they were treated.
