Nope, if we don't get the stockholders, it'll just happen again. ... and again. ... and again. You need to jail the stockholders to have any real impact other than 'we'll get the next guy to do what we want' and we'll be at this all over again. They have to be punished for anything to change. Personally, we'll have to go to what can be considered... barbaric... methods for a while to hammer the point home.

We can't put stockholders in jail though. Start imprisoning the execs and you'll see pushback against the stockholders.

Actually, the executives are only a symptom of the problem, not the cause. The actual reality is that the STOCKHOLDERS are the problem.

No, things aren't going to "correct themselves" until the executives start paying for their mistakes. If that doesn't happen, they're just going to keep making them and we're the ones who will be paying for them.

No, we're not. What we'll likely see is something similar to the Hollywood Crash of the 1960s, where the Studio System finally collapsed, leading to the current Star System... which isn't all that much better (at least the studios in the Studio System Era could go 'you guys work on this B movie, you guys work on this A movie, etc.' and not get too much pushback and allowed no-name actors to get some spotlight).

The light at the end of the tunnel is that if the big studies go down, well likely see a lot of new IP. Creative IP won't stop, but rather it will go elsewhere and we'll have to dig around the indie scene to find it again
