The Kennedys have been in the news too many times for me not to want to learn more about their backstory. Let's just say JFK probably wouldn't be pleased by the direction his descendants have lurched in, were he still alive.

Joshua Evans-Lowell

Since the Kennedy legacy is - unfortunately- in the news again

Humans are a species of animal. It's just we're the only species of animal consciously aware of our actions.

Jacob White

Sadly you're historically correct, and we are seeing it once again from one donald trump who repeated the rhetoric from Adolf Hitler on his views towards those of the Jewish faith. When you verbally turn another group of people into animals or as Hitler put it "Vermin" then it becomes easier to abuse them. Easier to betray them for your own evil intentions, and last, easier to murder them on an industrial scale not seen since the death camps in the 1940's. Worst of all, it is this faith that has historically been the world's scapegoats. From kings to dictators they've commonly put the Jewish faith as their reasoning for being targeted. Why? because they've so often been associated with bankers, with extreme wealth, and so too as the puppetmasters of corruption. It's heartbreaking that this is commonplace with humans Chromic, because we as a species are either leaders or followers, and too many people want to be led. They want to be told who is the enemy, who they are supposed to hate, supposed to fear, supposed to like. Ironically making the term "Sheeple" accurate. This is no fault of their own of course, but every man or woman is responsible for their own actions and thoughts. But if one turns to the fossil record, it has proven time and again that Human's closest relatives are indeed primates, this was even proven by Jane Goodall's decades spent among gorillas and other primates. She witnessed behaviors that were up to then, thought only found in us Humans, but these were behaviors that were learned over the countless generations. We are indeed animals, humans are mammals, there is so much more that I could say, I think Extra Credits would have a lot to go over if they did a series on Miss Goodall.

True. I'm put out when someone treats another another human as nothing more than an instinct driven pest with worth. Unfortunately humans have a long record of doing exactly this.

Joseph Kennedy is very much the Worst Dad In History!!!

Jetstream

I mean, objectively speaking we *are* animals.

I don't like any of these topics. I was hoping that the title "animal instincts" might refer to animals with such aura that they made history (Casual Geographic recently did a video on this and I was in the mood for older stories), but nope, we're talking humans. Humans as animals is disturbing. But this is history, so we gotta take the bad too. I'll vote.
