How can someone claim that there are no great video game movies when Street Fighter exists?

I don't even like the blank slate characters when they're in the games. As an example, in Nioh you play as a well defined character, Willaim, who has his own motivations and voices them. In Nioh 2 you create your own character and as fun as that process can be, he/she never speaks and we never really know why we are on the side we are on unless we paste our own motivations on top. But then sometimes our own motivations just don't jell with what the game now says we are doing.

Oddly though if I had to watch any 'video game movie' it would probably be the Super Mario Bros movie from the 90s that was like some cyberpunk adaptation.
