Welcome to this week’s news post. We’ll be chatting about the last week in Alpha, what we’re working on and what’s coming next.

Alpha Launch Recap
What a week! We finally got the Alpha into your hands and it has been nothing short of amazing seeing all the discussions, feedback, suggestions and bug reports flowing through! We’ve had over 630 of you try the Alpha so far, so the quantity of feedback has been extremely helpful for future planning.
Our complete focus in the last week was making sure the current Alpha experience is as smooth as possible. Locating critical issues and implementing fixes is a top priority, as catching them now will make future development a lot smoother.
Although the content in the Alpha is limited, the feedback you’ve provided thus far has been extremely helpful. We’ve got an internal catalogue of great suggestions and feedback to discuss and implement which will help us shape the game over time.
Thank you again to everyone who has joined in with the discussions! We hope we can continue to provide great updates in the future, and shape the game into something truly special.
What’s coming to Alpha next
Next up on the Major Update roadmap is:
Farming
Mastery Guilds
Codex (In-game Wiki of sorts)
There is a good chance Farming will be released before Mastery Guilds and the Codex, just so we’ve got it in your hands being tested while we work on the other good stuff.
Next week, we hope to have more information on Farming (or at least something to show) so you can see what to expect, and when you may be able to play it!
Combat is currently scheduled to release in the following Major Update.

General Recap
Similar to the last news post, there isn’t too much to recap from last week’s post, but we’ll add some clarifications here just in case.
Where should I post feedback / suggestions or bug reports for the alpha?
For feedback and suggestions
There are two ways to submit feedback:
1) On our Discord Server in the Patreon section.
2) Via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/Q5AuWeA1VQSjFrUQ8
Feedback is for anything you want to let us know about other than bug reports. There will be no publicly available feedback tracker, as this is mainly for us to collect, analyse and act upon in the future.
We read all submissions and messages, so please don’t ping any of the team members for suggestions, we’ll see it.
For bug reports
There are two ways to submit bugs:
1) On our Discord Server in the Patreon section.
2) Via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/4pkiXSDk1kYzQsgP7
If you are running into crashes or serious issues stopping you from playing the game, please submit a bug via the Google Form. There are sections to provide the game logs and other information. The form provides instructions on how to obtain certain information.
Where can I see the bugs that have already been reported for Alpha?
We have a public Google sheet with the most up-to-date information on the bugs that have been reported.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1M8vWW71e-hlKSDv-y03i_A4ZdPwpUr-UssN00JkWakQ
Will alpha progression carry over to an eventually early access version?
Yes, it will!
Is the roadmap up to date?
You can view the most up to date roadmap here: https://trello.com/b/DH6ke4fF/melvor-idle-2-roadmap
Conclusion
That’s all for this week’s post! We’ll see you again at this time next week. 👋

It doesn't surprise me that an anti-virus would flag a brand new compiled & unsigned executable. There's definitely no viruses inside it. -Malcs

Tried to access the alpha but my antivirus flagged it.
