It is safe to delete the old client versions, as your saves are stored in a separate location.
It is not safe to load a character in an older version after you have already loaded in a newer version. This will cause a save corruption in some circumstances.
New:
Added third Music track - "Tavern Hearth" (Note: All track names are TBC).
You can now use "K", "M", "B" or "T" when typing a quantity in the text boxes for Shop purchases or Item Sales. When typing 10M, the game will automatically convert it to 10,000,000 and submit the change.
Implemented saving of Item Sale Quantity Mode (All, All but one). The bank should remember this selection now.
Implement Special Item find count in Fishing.
Added item sale price to various places. More to come.
Added a visible menu button in the top right to the Login screen and Character select screen.
You can now click outside of the pause menu area to close it.
Changes:
Night time now begins at 8pm instead of 12am.
Update checkbox button styling across the game.
Disabled music notification if music/master is muted.
Disabled moving fish animations when Animation setting disabled.
Removed Copper and Iron Spear Head & Copper Crossbow & Crossbow Head from the game.
Save Improvements:
Improved local save handling of file corruptions.
Adjust local save writing to write to a temp file and rename instead of overwriting existing save.
Adjust local saves to keep a backup of the last successfully written file.
Add error handling for corrupt local saves.
Add ability to flag save headers as corrupted & implemented rendering to show this.
Improved error handling of save reading.
Assert that regions actually read the correct number of bytes.
Fixes:
Adjusted the Tick timer to use rounding when computing the number of ticks. Should avoid processing more ticks than intended.
Fix Tracker not displaying all tracked losses.
Fix decimal formatting of formatted numbers. Should now correctly show up to two decimal places, rounded down..
Fix incorrect Mithril Pickaxe Shop costs.
Fix incorrect Torn Ancient Sailcloth rate from fishing.
Fix incorrect Oak Tree Seed rate from WC.
Fix milestones view not resetting scrollbar to top when opening.
Fix incorrect Steel Javelin Head artwork.
Fix Firemaking Start Button not updating accurately when selecting a different recipe to the one you are making.
Fix healing icon remaining in Completion Log tooltips.
Fix "You Have" quantity colouring issues for required item rows in Artisan Skills.
Slightly increased readability of Bank Item quantities.
Fix issue with level progress of current action button in the sidebar.
Fix error in Tracker marker deserialization (this fixes an issue where removing content from the game that you are training would corrupt your save).
Fix incorrect stone and iron arrowtip product quantity produced.
Fix current action sidebar refusing to show if an action is starting during the fade out animation.

Hey! That's not ideal. Are you opening the correct file for your computer? And after each new alpha build is available, are you deleting all the old files and then downloading the new one? I think it would help to pull a game log and send it in via the bug report form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe9FZ_HtJAvvnS3s0dK2gdI4oo3_QHki2f0_bh0Ziu5Ym3cZQ/viewform There are instructions at the bottom of the form for how to pull a log. That way Malcs can try to see what's happening on your end.

I have never once been able to play any Alpha build. The app opens, says "Game by Malcs", goes to a grey screen, and then just closes.
