Melvor Idle 2 Alpha Release - v0.4.2-alpha
🕑 Added 2025-06-17 06:23:04 +0000 UTCWelcome to the first launch of the Alpha for Melvor Idle!
Thanks for your patience on this as we worked to prepare it for release.
Please read below regarding important Alpha information and download links to the first build.
A note about Patreon Confidentiality
For those of you who are new here, I’d like to touch on confidentiality around information posted to Patreon.
When we post information, screenshots, provide playable builds that only you can access, or anything in between, we expect a level of confidentiality around this.
You will know about unannounced features before anyone else does, see unfinished content still being worked on, run into issues/bugs that no one else will see, play versions of content that might be bad and require a rework etc.
Patreon content is for Patrons only
All discussions must remain in the respective Discord channels or Patreon comments section. If information ends up outside these environments, then you risk losing your Patreon status.
There will be plenty of opportunities for the public to get their hands on the game and discuss outside of Patreon in the future.
If you ever have to ask "am I allowed to mention this publicly", the safest answer is no.
Alpha means Alpha
This may be the first true Alpha test for many of you. I can’t stress enough how early of a build this is that you are going to be accessing.
This is not an early access launch, this is an Alpha. It’s incomplete, unpolished, and there is a lack of content.
We’re going to build this together, to make it the best experience possible for everyone who tries it in the future!
Alpha Update Schedule / Roadmap
No Steam Yet
Builds for Melvor Idle 2’s Alpha are only released via Google Drive links. Steam will be made available in the near future.
Alpha Updates & Patch Notes
We will post on Patreon within 24 hours of a new release going live, detailing patch notes alongside a new download link.
These Patch Notes are separate from our standard News Posts / Dev Updates.
Submitting Bug Reports
There are two ways to submit bugs:
Discord inside the #mi2-bug-report channel
Via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/4pkiXSDk1kYzQsgP7
There is a public Bug Tracker available to view here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1M8vWW71e-hlKSDv-y03i_A4ZdPwpUr-UssN00JkWakQ/edit?usp=sharing
Be sure to check for the bug already being reported prior to reporting again. Also please allow up to 24 hours during business days for bug reports to propagate to the tracker.
Submitting Feedback
There are two ways to submit feedback:
Discord inside any of the relevant MI2 Patreon Discord channels
Via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/Q5AuWeA1VQSjFrUQ8
Feedback is for anything you want to let us know about other than bug reports. There will be no publicly available feedback tracker, as this is mainly for us to collect, analyse and act upon in the future.
We are watching and listening!
Please note that our entire team will be watching and monitoring. We don’t have the ability to respond to everything, nor action everything immediately.
Just know we are watching, and are listening to everything you discuss or submit!
Patreon Surveys will be used to gather feedback from everyone about big changes/suggestions etc. These will be posted every 3-4 weeks.
The public will be notified in a few days
Once the initial influx of players are settled, I will post publicly that the Alpha is available on Patreon. This update will also include a general update on how Melvor Idle 2 is tracking.
Please don't mention that it is live - let the team handle this.

I have been so ready for more Melvor, I completed 100% everything on normal a few months ago. so glad to be part of Mevlor 2 early and excited to hopefully be able to help give good feedback and see some things early!

Melvor Idle was by far the best and most enjoyable Idler I've played (Spoiler: I played a ton of them) and I can't wait for what you have in store for us in part 2.
