OP Doctor - Ch 190
🕑 Added 2025-04-28 16:02:01 +0000 UTCChapter 190: It Was an Intentional Accident
Their reaction left everyone present stunned.
What the hell? Why were they so terrified?
Marco was so scared he practically vanished—completely unfindable.
Yamato looked even worse—like a death row convict seconds from execution.
They had clearly learned their lesson.
Marco especially—he learned it twice.
He left with style.
With zero hesitation.
But Rayleigh, at this moment, was puzzled.
Was this really necessary?
Nothing strange had even happened yet.
With a disdainful expression, Rayleigh scoffed, “Kids these days are so jumpy. Never seen real action before. The moment something happens, they just run.”
“Tsk, each generation’s worse than the last. Back in my day, what did we fear? Nothing! But these youngsters now... sigh.”
He even let out a disappointed sigh, as if genuinely lamenting the state of today’s youth.
Little did he know...
He was about to realize that Marco made the smartest move of his life.
Right then—
Vir slowly lifted the overturned medical kit.
As he raised it, what lay beneath was finally revealed.
It was a plate of...
Large intestine.
Specifically, Vir’s homemade large intestine.
The medical kit continued to rise.
And the pile of intestines on the plate grew taller.
Seeing this, Rayleigh’s disdain only deepened.
That’s it? Just some intestines?
“These brats nowadays...”
“Honestly hard to take serio—Ugh~?!”
Suddenly, Rayleigh gagged.
It came out of nowhere. Just a subconscious reflex—his Observation Haki accidentally picked up something from that tray.
Wait—
Hold on.
Something's wrong.
Something's really wrong with these intestines!
At that moment, the smell finally rode in on a light breeze and hit Rayleigh straight in the face.
Snnnffff~
The moment that breath went in—
The scornful expression on Rayleigh’s face immediately turned red.
Within seconds, his throat visibly convulsed.
Through the gaping hole in his abdomen, you could even see his stomach spasming.
As the scent spread—
Everyone else started reacting too.
What the hell is that stench?!
Bonney vomited on the spot.
She had just eaten a ton at the restaurant too.
Well, that’s gone now. All of it. Splashed right into the sea beside her.
Chopper and Robin managed to hold it in.
They'd been around Vir long enough. Mentally and physically, they were built different.
But judging by their increasingly pale faces and their constant swallowing...
They were barely hanging in there.
As for Yamato, who had already looked half-dead...
She, too, got her wish and started puking.
She saw it coming.
But was powerless.
Could anything be more despair-inducing than this?!
'That bastard Marco—when he gets back, I’m breaking his wings!'
'Hope Vir leaves some leftovers!'
'Just you wait, I’m force-feeding him this sh—BLEGH—'
This isn’t...
Actually food, is it?
Yamato suddenly realized something and glanced at Rayleigh.
Then turned her head away again, face full of sympathy.
And kept throwing up.
'Serves you right.'
'Eat up, old man. Eat till you drop dead.'
Rayleigh, credit where it's due, was a real man—a legend of the old generation.
He actually held it together.
Didn’t spill a single bite of his snacks.
Even protected them carefully.
As everyone else hurled their guts out, Rayleigh, while silently judging their wastefulness, somehow felt a sliver of pride.
But then—
He suddenly remembered what Vir said earlier:
“First the medicine, then the massage, then acupuncture.”
Hold up.
Wait just a damn minute!
THIS is what you meant by medicine?!
Rayleigh stared in shock as Vir finished putting away the medical kit.
On the plate now sat a mountain of Nine-Turn Large Intestine.
From the ends of the intestines, glimpses of the contents could be seen.
Not a pleasant sight.
Beneath the tray, on the digital scale:
[3888]
“Alright, Uncle Ray, this is our 3,888-package special! All you need to do now... is eat it!”
Vir’s voice, slightly muffled by his gas mask, exploded in Rayleigh’s ears like a bomb.
Leaving him utterly dumbfounded.
…
He’s serious.
HE’S ACTUALLY SERIOUS!
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!
This is your idea of MEDICINE?!
HOMEMADE MEDICINE?!
What kind of sane person makes medicine look like this?!
If you hadn’t told me, I’d have thought you just yanked that intestine straight out of a constipated pig!
Still steaming!
So fresh, it still had the original smell!
You call yourself a doctor?!
You look more like a damn veterinarian!
No—you’re a beast yourself!
You animal! ANIMAL!
It’s not like I’ve never eaten intestines before.
I can handle the smell.
But yours? Not only is the "filling" generous, the stench is overwhelming.
And you expect me to eat 3,888 grams?!
Do you even know how much that is?!
That’s 8 pounds!!
You're telling me to eat eight pounds of this crap?!
Are you even human?!
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You’ve earned 3,888 negative points!]
Clearly—
Rayleigh had reached his breaking point.
Completely.
Ignoring the pain, he slammed his palm against the deck with a BANG!
His eyes burned with fury.
“WHAT is this stuff?!”
Rayleigh demanded.
“Obviously, intestines. Made by me.” Vir replied matter-of-factly.
Rayleigh’s eye twitched.
No pretenses? Just straight-up admitting it?!
"AND THIS?!" Rayleigh jabbed a finger at the "filling".
“Was this intentional... or an accident?!”
He was hoping—just hoping—that if Vir said it was an accident, he’d have a legit reason to refuse.
If it’s an accident, that’s on the doctor. Totally valid excuse.
But after a brief pause, Vir began explaining earnestly:
“I removed most of the intestine’s smell, worried you might not like it.”
“But I kept just a tiny bit. I think leaving a little of the smell helps you remember what you’re eating.”
Somehow, in his rage, Rayleigh actually found that... kinda reasonable?
But—a tiny bit?!
How the hell is this “a tiny bit”?!
“You tell me NOW—is this intentional or not?!”
Rayleigh demanded again.
Vir fidgeted a bit, then muttered, “Yeah, intentional.” (It was an intentional accident.)
Rayleigh’s face remained stoic.
But inside?
He was bleeding.
It was intentional.
This kid deliberately made him eat this.
Everyone heard it, right?
Rayleigh was on the verge of tears.
“No no, that filling’s not what you think. It’s medicine! I just used the intestine as a casing for easier consumption!”
Vir clarified, honestly.
Rayleigh’s gaze sharpened.
Ohhhh.
Easier consumption.
What a genius.
Truly, a miracle doctor.
Able to make medicine look exactly like literal sh—
Incredible.
“A real medicine, Uncle Ray. Top-tier ingredients. Even if you don’t know medicine, you’ve heard 'bitter medicine is good for you', right? This is just... a little more bitter.”
“It only looks like that. Whitebeard had the same reaction, but he chugged it down, even licking the plate clean afterward. Not a drop left on his lips.”
Not a single word Vir said was a lie.
Truer than the dawn.
Hearing this, Rayleigh wavered.
An image flashed in his mind—Whitebeard, slurping up intestines like noodles...
Mmm~
Alright, you win.
But if Whitebeard could eat it... and it actually healed him...
Maybe...
Just maybe...
Should this old man... give it a shot too?
