OP Doctor - Ch 186
🕑 Added 2025-04-26 16:04:00 +0000 UTCChapter 186: Aunt Ray!
This is certainly not impossible.
Marco is undoubtedly an elite in the pirate world.
His Observation Haki is unquestionable.
Yet, Vir had just walked up behind him and kicked him—and Marco hadn’t even reacted.
Didn’t this prove that after swapping positions, Vir would briefly have his presence completely vanish?
As if… he had reached the level of a ship spirit.
Undetectable.
If used for sneak attacks, it would be beyond satisfying.
But there was no need to jump to conclusions just yet.
He’d find a chance to test it later.
For now, everything seems normal.
Although there were a few twists (for Old Ray), the outcome was still pretty good (except for Old Ray)!
Right now, Old Ray is barely hanging on.
Even a powerhouse like him has passed out.
He needs urgent treatment.
"Alright, as long as everyone's fine."
"The only one in trouble now is Uncle Ray. He stayed behind to cover our escape."
"Ugh, I have to repay Uncle Ray! Enough talk, with him injured like this, as a doctor, I must treat him!"
Vir said, standing up and walking over to Rayleigh.
The old man was still unconscious, but Vir could tell his awareness was gradually returning.
He’d wait a bit.
Better to treat him after he woke up.
Some treatment plans required the patient’s input, after all.
As a doctor, Vir always respected his patients’ opinions.
The others, however, wore extremely strange expressions upon hearing Vir’s words.
Huh?
Repay him?
More like make him suffer, right?
Do you really think healing someone is your way of repaying them?
Do you have any self-awareness?
Leaving him to die would be the greatest kindness you could show him!
Thinking about the inhumane torture Rayleigh would go through later, Marco felt a pang of heartache.
Sigh.
Why is Rayleigh's life so hard?
Getting injured is one thing.
But then he just happened to run into this guy.
You’ve lived a full life, old man!
Embrace the "treatment".
The dawn will come eventually!
"Chopper, make sure to watch closely. All my secret techniques lie in the execution. You, foolish disciple, never learn the proper methods."
Vir sat there, waiting for Rayleigh to wake up while chatting with Chopper.
Hearing this, Chopper snorted in disdain but secretly began to think that Vir’s treatments were more efficient...
After all, they were instant fixes...
"Vir, why are we going to Amazon Lily?" Robin suddenly asked.
The others turned to look as well—they were curious too.
"We’re heading there because it’s in the Calm Belt. The Marines didn’t send specialized battleships this time, so they can’t follow us."
"It’s a safe place to lay low for now. Plus, Uncle Ray and the leader there are old friends, so we can talk things through."
Vir answered with a serious face.
The others nodded in understanding.
That did sound like the best option.
Seeing their acceptance, Vir smiled inwardly.
No way was he going to admit he was after Boa Hancock’s Conqueror’s Haki.
Old Ray, he might not give it up.
After all, he has too much to offer.
Vir naturally planned to find more people with Conqueror’s Haki to treat.
Boa Hancock was a great choice.
Isn’t she disgusted by men?
The thing he used on Momousagi hadn’t expired yet.
It should still be good for another use.
And then...
Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze~
Easy negative points and abilities.
Nyehehehehe!
Even if he didn’t get Conqueror’s Haki, things like the Mero Mero no Mi or Perfume Femme techniques would be great.
Wait...
Actually, maybe not Perfume Femme.
He really didn’t want to imagine his thick leg—full of muscle after being enhanced—swinging around in the air like Boa Hancock's...
Just thinking about it made him want to die socially.
It would completely ruin his masculinity.
No, he couldn’t do it.
As for the Mero Mero no Mi... it probably wouldn’t make him prettier, right?
Surely he wouldn’t petrify people by blinking like Hancock?
If the system granted the ability, Vir guessed it’d be more like attacks carrying petrification or armor-piercing effects.
Either way, it wouldn’t be weak.
A straight-up combat booster.
And if he did get Conqueror’s Haki?
Perfection.
Anyway, this trip was a huge win!
Passive income kind of win!
As for our dear Uncle Ray... it was time to unveil the "masterpiece" Vir had spent days brewing with system ingredients.
Honestly, even Vir himself didn’t want to look at it.
This thing was a bit weird.
‘Ultimate Shit-tier Miracle Drug’
Effect: When administered to a patient (via consumption, topical application, or injection), the patient will recover 70% of their injuries within a short period. The remaining 30% will heal completely within the next 24 hours.
Note: This medicine must be used entirely, or it will have no effect.
Price: Not for sale.
Evaluation: Hard to evaluate! It’s enough to explode the world!
[This is a host-made, unlicensed, unverified, no-guarantee bootleg product. After use, the patient will gain a powerful side effect!]
[This drug’s side effect: Random body part enlargement.]
Yeah.
That was it.
An extremely potent effect.
Seventy percent recovery on the spot.
Full recovery within a day.
This was, without a doubt, a brilliantly successful, overwhelmingly effective product.
Using it on Old Ray will make him full of energy.
But... since it was homemade...
There might be a few... quirks.
Like the "powerful side effect".
In this case, random body part enlargement.
Who knew how Rayleigh’s luck would hold up?
If he was unlucky, he might end up with a swollen belly...
Or a giant head.
Or massive ears.
All possible.
And if things got really wild... say, chest enlargement...
Uncle Ray would become Aunt Ray.
That was the worst-case scenario, of course.
On the other hand, if he got really lucky...
Well.
You know.
Wink wink.
Maybe Old Ray could reclaim his former glory!
It all depended on fate.
After all, it says random.
Vir himself doesn’t know what will happen.
But the real kicker?
The drug’s appearance.
Somehow, during the final step of refining, despite there being no logical reason for it to take this shape...
Whether due to the damned system or its ingredients...
It had ended up as... a "sausage".
Yes.
A sausage.
A ridiculously long one.
But don’t get the wrong idea!
This is a serious thing, a seriously good food.
It’s called ‘Nine Turn Large Intestine’!
Yep.
Intestine.
The outer packaging was literally designed to look like a sausage casing.
At first, Vir had assumed the casing was just for show.
But no.
The filling was the actual medicine.
His meticulously crafted, ultra-potent miracle drug...
Had been reduced to this by the system.
But don’t misunderstand!
The filling was normal medicine—not actual stuffing.
It’s just that the packaging was highly misleading.
Sigh...
Would Uncle Ray even be able to stomach it?
If you’ve seen the system’s note, you should understand this thing has another feature, right?
Yes... it’s big and plentiful.
