[Time Domain: Upon activation, slows down time within half a meter for 0.3 seconds!]
The range of the Time Domain was only half a meter.
But right now—that was just enough!
All three of them were caught inside that tiny circle.
The moment the voice rang out—
A figure abruptly appeared above and to the side of Akainu.
All three of them were visibly shocked upon seeing him.
Rayleigh and Kizaru had both assumed Vir was already dead.
So naturally, they were the most stunned.
Akainu, on the other hand, was staring at the Lightning Kanabo between him and Vir.
That’s right.
At this moment, Vir was already in full swing.
His enhanced leg had made contact with the kanabo the instant he teleported in.
The timing was perfect.
Yes.
His leg.
Who said Thunder Bagua had to be delivered with a hand?
Why couldn’t he use his leg?
He’d just kick the damn thing!
This ability couldn’t be spammed anyway.
For a one-time, overwhelmingly powerful attack—why not push it to the absolute limit?
This kick had leg enhancement, Armament Haki, lightning acceleration, and Thunder Bagua’s attack speed bonus.
That’s right.
The speed bonus from Thunder Bagua boosted the power of this kick to a whole new level.
"Speed is power!"
—As Uncle Kizaru would say.
BOOM!
A thunderous bang erupted.
The Lightning Kanabo launched at Akainu at incredible speed.
Vir had barely appeared—and the kanabo was already flying.
Akainu couldn’t even begin to retract his punch in time.
He had launched that strike with the full intent of killing Rayleigh in one hit.
Withdraw now?
Don’t joke around.
Vir had precisely timed it so he couldn’t.
And with the Time Domain’s boost—
Vir's move was ridiculously fast.
Akainu had initially scoffed—what kind of threat could a mere 1-billion-berry bounty brat really pose?
Even if he took the hit head-on, so what?
But when the spikes were inches from his face—
To be honest, he panicked a little.
The lightning arcing off the weapon stung, even through his skin, hardened with Supreme Armament Haki.
For a moment, he couldn’t believe it.
Zzzzt—
CRACK!
When the club slammed into his temple—
Akainu’s brain rattled in his skull.
His Armament-clad forehead caved in slightly.
His eyes bulged wide.
The sheer force bent his body into a C-shape before—
WHAM!
He was launched backward like a cannonball.
The moment the blow connected—
Akainu’s mind blanked.
His entire body locked up from the lightning’s paralysis.
His consciousness faded.
Was he... about to pass out?
Just as he thought it couldn’t get worse—
The Lightning Kanabo—
EXPLODED.
BOOOOOM!!!
The detonation was so violent, space itself fractured.
Which was why Vir had opened his portal ten meters away—any closer, and it would’ve shattered instantly.
Akainu was blasted even further, his unconscious body fried by the rampant electricity.
Yes.
Unconscious.
Meaning no defense.
Even if only for 0.4 seconds—
That was more than enough for the lightning to wreak havoc.
This combo left Akainu with one thought before blacking out:
'This guy is a DOCTOR worth 1 BILLION?!'
In the tree above, Morgans eyeballs nearly popped out of his sockets!
His beak almost stretched into a hippo’s mouth!
WHAT DID HE JUST WITNESS?!
WHAT?!
AKAINU! AKAINU WAS KNOCKED OUT! HEADSHOTTED!
THIS—THIS IS A SUPER MEGA ULTRA NEWS STORY!
That kid—that kid is about to blow up worldwide!
That kick’s power was unfathomable!
History-book material!
Is he REALLY just a ship’s doctor?!
A DOCTOR who KICKED A MARINE ADMIRAL’S HEAD OFF?!
Morgans mind raced with headlines as his fingers blurred across the notepad—
almost as fast as those of a bachelor who’d been single for twenty years.
His movements left afterimages on the camera.
Meanwhile, a heavily injured Momousagi also widened her eyes in disbelief.
"Vir... just took down Admiral Akainu?"
Even though she wasn’t standing close, the impact from the club smashing into Akainu’s head was enough to make her coat flutter wildly.
The explosion shook the earth itself.
If he can unleash that much power...
Doesn’t that mean he could’ve one-shot her earlier?!
Instead, he toyed with her!
He FAKED his death by using her!
Grrr... MEN ARE ALL TRASH!
As Akainu went flying, his attack toward Rayleigh was naturally disrupted.
Meanwhile, Rayleigh was staring at the spot where Akainu had just vanished. Even though his mouth was bleeding, he couldn’t close his dropped jaw.
'What the hell just happened?!'
'I think I saw Akainu roll his eyes!'
'Pretty sure he saw his great-grandma in that moment...'
'Since when can a 1-billion-berry DOCTOR pull that off?!'
'If I took that hit, I’d be hugging my great-grandma too!'
'And this guy got "killed" by Momousagi just now?!'
'I ACTUALLY FELL FOR THAT?!'
'I’m a DAMN FOOL!'
Rayleigh felt utterly betrayed.
But then he remembered—at least the kid came to save him.
That strange door behind him—probably opened for his escape?
Problem is...
He can’t outrun Kizaru.
Just then—
Vir, having just kicked the lightning club, suddenly aimed a full-powered kick at Rayleigh’s face!
Armament Haki + Lightning + Speed Bonus.
"UNCLE RAY! YOU GO FIRST! I’LL HOLD THEM OFF! DON’T WORRY—I’LL FOLLOW!"
Vir spoke with dead-serious eyes.
And in that moment—
Rayleigh’s face turned serene.
'Good. Really good.'
'What a great kid.'
'Uncle Ray was worried he couldn’t keep up.'
'But now? You really nailed it!'
'Didn’t you, nephew?'
'Flawless work, Vir.'
'Truly impressive.'
'And once I’m gone...'
'I hope you DIE!'
WHAM!
The oversized flip-flop smashed firmly into Rayleigh’s face.
His indestructible glasses finally shattered.
After his face caved in two centimeters—
WHOOSH!
The speed—
Nearly rivaled Kizaru’s.
But it still wasn’t enough.
After giving Old Ray a "physical speed boost"—
Vir immediately activated his space ability again.
In a blink, he appeared in front of Kizaru.
But this time—
This time, though, he felt his stamina plummet.
Seems like spamming spatial jumps has a serious stamina cost.
Still, this battle at least helped him drastically improve his teleportation speed.
With that—
Time Domain faded.
Kizaru’s full-power kick rocketed toward Vir’s head
Watching Rayleigh whiz past him—
Even Kizaru’s eyebrow twitched.
Did this guy just... kill Rayleigh?
Is this a rescue... or a murder?
Is he delivering a CORPSE?
Is he in a hurry for the FUNERAL BANQUET?!
