Today we're talking about Jayavarman VII the Great, and his project to transform Angkor into a more defensible city after it had been looted by the Champa. He'll turn it into Angkor Thom, and within, build the temple Bayon, a fusion of Buddhist and Hindu architecture which had never been seen before.
