Hearing Chopper’s words, everyone on the ship tensed up.
No one knew better than them just how far Chopper was willing to go for Vir.
If Chopper insisted on going and consumed ten Rumble Balls, they wouldn't be able to stop him at all.
But just as Chopper finished speaking—
Robin appeared behind him.
She wrapped her arms around him from behind.
The moment Chopper was embraced by Robin, his entire body lost its strength!
He collapsed limply into Robin’s arms.
In Robin’s hand, a small piece of Seastone was wrapped in cloth.
Only Chopper was affected by it.
“Robin...! Let me go! I have to find big bro!”
Chopper pleaded.
But Robin only spoke softly, “We’re all worried about him. Trust him. He promised me he would come back safely...”
Hearing this, Chopper didn’t calm down at all; instead, he struggled even harder.
Seeing this, Robin waved a small bottle of incense near Chopper’s nose while gently stroking his fur.
Very soon, Chopper fell into a deep sleep...
It was something Vir had given her after the last incident—
Just to prevent Chopper from losing control like this again.
Robin herself wanted nothing more than to stay behind and accompany Vir.
But she couldn’t.
She was too weak.
She didn’t even have the right to stand by his side...
Her face was filled with disappointment.
The ship quickly sailed away from the waters near Enies Lobby.
And just moments after they left, the massive Gates of Justice slowly began to open!
Several enormous battleships charged rapidly in the direction where Luffy and the others had disappeared!
At the same time, a figure leapt into the air and sped towards Vir’s location.
...
“Damn it! Those little brats sure know how to run. We’ve already missed them on two islands.”
On a massive ship, a towering figure grumbled.
“Don’t worry, Commander Jozu. Trust me, they must be at Enies Lobby.”
“But... are we really going to just barge in like this? Wouldn’t that be bad?”
Jozu's deputy, standing beside him, voiced his concerns.
What he was worried about, of course, was the possibility of the Whitebeard Pirates going to war with the World Government because of this.
However, such a large-scale war was unlikely to happen.
In battles of this magnitude, the side that launched the attack was the one at a disadvantage.
Unless absolutely necessary, the World Government wouldn’t make such a move.
“Bad? Who cares if it’s bad! Pops’ health is more important than anything!”
“No matter what, we have to bring that guy back. Otherwise, those brats will never let me hear the end of it!”
“You want me to never be able to hold my head up in front of them again? Screw the World Government! Let's do this!”
Jozu’s voice boomed with excitement.
It had been too long since he’d stretched his muscles, and he was itching to cause some trouble.
They were now sailing from Water 7 toward Enies Lobby.
It wouldn’t be long before they arrived.
...
Vir had already been fighting Momousagi for over ten minutes.
But neither of them could gain the upper hand.
The injuries he had just suffered and his declining stamina made it impossible for him to defeat Momousagi.
However, the same could be said for her.
She couldn’t take him down either.
After all, his strength was already above hers.
Through his Observation Haki, Vir had already seen Luffy and the others successful escape.
He also saw someone rushing toward him at high speed—
Akainu.
That’s right.
The admiral sent by the Marines was Akainu.
To be honest, Vir hadn’t expected this.
He thought it would be Kizaru.
After all, these kinds of urgent missions were usually his thing.
But Akainu wasn’t bad either. At least his mobility wasn't great.
After ten minutes of battle, Momousagi’s face was frozen in shock.
She was now extremely doubtful of the Marine intelligence division.
What the hell was going on?
How could they put a bounty of only 200 million berries on a pirate who had already surpassed the level of an admiral candidate?
Because of this oversight, Chaton had been defeated.
If the two of them had fought Vir together, he would’ve already been taken down!
She looked at Vir, who was barely in his twenties.
And then at his Armament Haki, which was on the verge of reaching a supreme stage.
Momousagi’s astonishment hadn’t faded.
She couldn’t comprehend it.
What kind of monster could achieve such a high level of Armament Haki at such a young age?
This was simply unheard of!
Just what had this guy gone through?
Momousagi couldn’t help but wonder.
“Dai Funka!!”
A massive, scorching attack hurtled toward Vir’s back at extreme speed!
But Vir had already anticipated it.
There was no way he would get hit.
The moment Akainu made his move, electricity flickered across Vir’s body, and he easily dodged the attack.
Looking at the cold-faced Akainu standing before him, Vir knew he couldn’t keep fighting.
It was time to leave.
“Admiral Akainu! We can’t stop attacking! If we give him a chance, his injuries and stamina will recover quickly!”
Momousagi shouted while charging forward with her sword again.
Through their battle, she had already figured out Vir’s ability.
But Akainu sneered dismissively.
“Relax, I’ll crush him with a single punch!”
With that, he charged toward Vir without holding back.
Tsk, tsk.
Uncle Rayleigh and Uncle Garp were much kinder.
This guy really doesn't know how to be gentle.
Thinking this, Vir opened a door in the air.
A spatial door appeared immediately.
But Akainu and Momousagi didn’t pay it any mind.
Because Vir wouldn’t have time to enter it!
Their attacks were too fast!
Vir had no chance to step inside.
But at that moment—
“Time Domain!”
Vir snapped his fingers!
In an instant, the two people within half a meter of him slowed down drastically.
Without hesitation, Vir turned and dashed through the air door.
At the same time, his voice drifted into their ears—
“Momousagi, your lips are so soft. Let's 'exchange' more next time!”
Hearing his words, Momousagi’s face turned completely red in embarrassment!
This guy!
This guy actually said something like that in front of Admiral Akainu!
Damn it!
She have to kill him!
Meanwhile, Akainu’s expression darkened.
He ignored what Vir said and focused on his sudden burst of speed!
What was going on?
Why did he suddenly get so much faster?!
Realizing this, Akainu immediately changed his attack!
“Inugami Guren!!”
A massive magma hound slammed into the spatial door just before it could disappear!
The door shattered instantly!
The distortion in space violently pulled at Vir’s body!
After just three pulls, he was already severely injured!
His body was twisted and broken beyond recognition!
His chest caved in deeply, and his right thigh was completely crushed!
Blood dripped continuously from his mouth.
But thankfully, his sit-ups started working again.
His body kept healing, only to be destroyed again!
This torture lasted for a full thirty seconds!
To Vir, those thirty seconds felt like years.
The extreme pain assaulted his nerves relentlessly.
After half a minute, the space finally spat Vir out.
It sent him flying in a random direction.
The distance was still what Vir had set.
But where he would ultimately land—
No one knew...
