The two figures brushed past each other.
A Shigan was thrust toward the chest.
A fist was aimed at the heart.
Meanwhile...
Momousagi's sword slashed through the air, cutting straight toward Vir.
But Vir showed no intention of dodging.
Seeing this, a trace of anger flashed in Momousagi's eyes.
This guy... was actually looking down on her!
This made the force behind her sword strike even more powerful!
In an instant, all three attacks landed on their respective targets!
But suddenly, at Vir’s neck, a...
Door appeared!
Momousagi’s attack plunged straight into the door!
The sheer force of her strike caused the door to tremble violently, but it didn’t shatter immediately!
With that slight delay, Vir and Chaton had already taken each other’s attacks.
At this moment, Chaton’s fist struck directly at Vir’s heart!
But around Vir’s heart, a layer of powerful Armament Haki had already formed!
The impact produced a metallic clang!
A trickle of blood dripped from the corner of Vir’s mouth.
But this outcome... left Chaton wide-eyed in shock!
What was going on?
The scene he had imagined—sending Vir flying with a single blow—didn’t happen at all.
His full-powered punch... had only caused this little damage?
How was that possible?!
Meanwhile, Vir’s fingers had already pierced straight into Chaton’s chest.
Even though Chaton had used Armament Haki to defend, it still couldn’t withstand the force of the attack.
The sheer penetrative power, combined with the intense heat on Vir’s fingertips, overwhelmed Chaton’s Haki!
He had no way to defend against it!
Yet Chaton didn’t seem too concerned.
A mere puncture in his chest—
Just as this thought crossed his mind, the electricity in Vir’s finger suddenly exploded throughout his entire body!
Zzt!
Zzt—!!!
A brilliant explosion of light burst from within Chaton’s body!
Vir’s goal was simple—to incapacitate Chaton for a few seconds!
And with this attack, it would take at least two seconds for Chaton to regain control of his body!
Boom!
A deafening sound rang out.
It was as if space itself had shattered!
Vir’s dimensional door shattered into countless fragments.
When a space door was forcibly broken, it caused instability in that area, preventing further spatial abilities from being used there for a while.
But that didn’t matter.
Vir had only used it to block Momousagi’s attack for a moment!
By now, he had already withdrawn his hand from Chaton’s body!
As his body spun, a lightning sword materialized in his grasp!
Clang!
Vir blocked Momousagi’s slash!
At the same time, the dazzling explosion from Chaton’s body forced Momousagi to momentarily close her eyes!
The instant she shut her eyes, Vir’s Observation Haki locked onto her, suppressing her movements completely!
At the same time, a devastating kick, reinforced with extreme Armament Haki, lashed out at her!
However, it only struck Momousagi’s sword, which she instinctively raised in defense!
Even though her Observation Haki had been momentarily suppressed, her years of battle-honed instincts allowed her to react correctly.
But Vir’s goal wasn’t to injure her—it was to push her back!
The immense impact force instantly sent Momousagi flying back several dozen meters!
As she stabilized herself midair, she immediately realized Vir’s intent.
She barely landed before launching herself forward once more!
But Vir had already turned his focus back to Chaton, who was still momentarily paralyzed.
This next kick... was a full-power strike!
"Leg Reinforcement!"
"Thunder Infusion!"
Zzzt~
His Armament Haki surged to its peak!
Then—
Boom!!!
A powerful shockwave swept through everything in the vicinity!
Even Franky, who was lying nearby, was instantly blown away!
As for Chaton, he turned into a black streak and vanished from sight!
At this moment, his eyes were rolled back, and his face was deeply sunken.
His teeth were almost all shattered.
Everything was splattered with blood!
Vir estimated that with this kick landing directly on Chaton’s unguarded head, it would take him at least two days to regain consciousness.
With Marine medical treatment, he would need at least a month to recover fully.
And this was all because he had underestimated Vir, choosing to take that "Shigan: Thunder Pierce" head-on!
Taking that attack was practically a death sentence.
If Vir hadn’t been concerned about the Marines coming after him, he would have finished Chaton off right then and there.
Had he not specifically controlled the electricity to only paralyze, he could have killed Chaton in a single strike.
At that moment, as Vir was still in the process of withdrawing his attack, an incredibly powerful slash from Momousagi struck his back!
A deep wound reaching down to his spine instantly appeared on his back.
This was only because he had formed a layer of steel in the air and pushed against it, using the reaction force to twist his body.
Otherwise, that slash would have landed on his neck.
If that had happened, he would have been gravely injured.
"Lightning Cannon!"
Vir instantly unleashed an explosive lightning attack!
A massive bolt of electricity erupted from his body without warning, striking Momousagi before she could defend herself!
The impact force sent her flying once more!
But just like before, Vir wasn’t aiming to seriously wound her—just to push her back.
Otherwise, her relentless swordplay would have forced him into a defensive position indefinitely.
A swordsman only needed a single opening to keep their enemy suppressed until their blade found the target’s neck!
After being blown away, Momousagi didn’t immediately charge back in.
The two stared at each other across the battlefield.
Momousagi’s breathing was slightly erratic.
She needed to adjust herself.
Vir’s previous attacks, reinforced with overwhelming Armament Haki, had disrupted her rhythm significantly.
She only needed two seconds!
Two seconds, and she could steady herself—
Then she’d charge in and tear that heavily wounded bastard apart!
But at that moment, Vir, standing across from her, suddenly pulled out a strange vial!
He tilted his head back and drank it in one go!
What was that?
Momousagi’s eyes narrowed in confusion.
Then, to her astonishment, the gruesome wound on Vir’s back—his exposed spine—began to heal at a slow but steady pace!
Though the speed was almost negligible.
So she dismissed it.
With such a slow recovery, what was the point?
But one second later—
Vir’s wound suddenly began healing at over twenty times the previous speed!
It had gone from barely noticeable... to terrifyingly fast!
At this rate, in just three seconds, all the injuries he had sustained would be completely healed!
What Vir had just consumed was a special potion he had developed himself.
It greatly enhanced his body’s natural healing ability!
And the true key to its effect?
A certain ability he had obtained: "Sit-Ups!!"
He had been out of combat for one second now...
Little girl, it's over.
