🕑 Added 2025-03-20 16:01:02 +0000 UTCChapter 111: Vir, the Dense and Oblivious Blockhead
Just now.
The guy in front of her had moved a bit too much, causing a small corner of the medical kit on his back to be exposed.
Robin, who was standing right behind him, caught sight of it.
It was a very small corner.
Almost the size of a grain of rice.
But Robin recognized it at a glance—it was Vir’s medical kit.
She had an exceptionally deep impression of everything that belonged to Vir.
Every time he went a few days without washing his hair, she could tell right away.
Then she would remind him to wash it before it got too greasy…
If she paid that much attention to his hair, how could she not recognize his medical kit?
Robin was completely certain.
This was Vir’s medkit.
So why was Vir’s medkit on this guy?
Vir would never let his medical kit leave his side.
Even if Chopper went missing, the kit wouldn’t.
The reason Robin was frozen in place at this moment was because a terrible thought had crossed her mind.
Vir…
Had he been killed?
Otherwise, how could his medkit be here?
But the moment that thought emerged, she denied it.
Even if Vir had been taken out, it wouldn’t have been long ago.
Then how could this guy have figured out how to use Vir’s medical kit so quickly?
She had tried taking things from it before.
Every time Vir needed something, he could pull it out effortlessly.
But when she secretly opened it, there was nothing inside.
Even when she reached in, she found nothing.
So there was a specific way to use it!
There was no way this guy had killed Vir, studied how the kit worked, and then skillfully pulled out a shotgun and whip in such a short amount of time.
That left only one possibility!
This person…
Was Vir!
Even though it was the only possibility, she still needed to observe further to be sure.
And if it really was Vir, she couldn’t expose him.
Vir must have a reason for doing this.
She couldn’t ruin his plan.
Even though it was just a possibility, a renewed light of hope shone in Robin’s eyes.
Vir, with a sickly grin, lifted his hand and pinched Robin’s chin.
His gaze slowly swept over her body.
After taking it all in, he nodded in satisfaction.
“Not bad~ Not bad at all~ Since you’re going to die anyway, let me enjoy you for a bit! Hahahaha! What a beauty!”
Vir was fantasizing about scaring Robin out of her mind.
After all, even he often ended up at a disadvantage against her.
But upon hearing his words, the corners of Robin’s lips curled up slightly.
She was sure now.
This guy was Vir.
And the reason was simple.
Because a normal lecher, when scanning her body, would focus on certain key areas.
But this guy simply swept his gaze around casually.
He didn’t linger on her chest for even a moment.
Only Vir, this dense and oblivious blockhead, could do something like that.
Everything else was flawless.
Vir was indeed a great actor.
But he had overlooked this detail…
And Robin, sharp as ever, had caught it immediately.
In that moment, all the darkness in her heart vanished instantly.
As if, with Vir here, she had nothing to fear.
A strange look appeared in her eyes...
Was that?
Passion?
Vir now clearly understood the real meaning of that word.
What's going on?
What does this mean?
Did he give himself away?
Vir quickly reviewed all his actions and words just now.
There didn’t seem to be anything wrong!
Then why…
Instead of being frightened, she was looking at him with such eyes?
What was going on?
Could it be… Robin had feelings for Spandam?
Or was she trying to seduce Spandam to make him let her go?
The second possibility was impossible!
Could it be that Robin actually liked Spandam?!
Love at first sight?!
Vir felt like he had just uncovered something truly terrible.
But he had already killed Spandam…
Robin, I’m sorry.
The guy you liked, I already killed him.
Vir suddenly felt a little guilty toward Robin.
His desire to mess with her faded.
Forget it.
He’d let it slide for now.
There would be another chance later.
First, he needed to send these guys away.
With them here, it was hard to act freely.
Letting go of Robin’s chin, Vir frowned and turned to sit on the boss’s chair.
“Where’s Blueno? Why isn’t he back yet?”
Vir asked knowingly.
Creak
“We lost contact. Probably dead.”
Just then, three figures pushed the door open and walked in.
The one leading them, Jabra, spoke without hesitation.
They didn’t bother with pleasantries after entering and quickly took their seats.
But as soon as those words were spoken, Lucci furrowed his brows.
Blueno had been their comrade for so many years.
There were still feelings there.
Just as he was about to reprimand Jabra on his choice of words, the Den Den Mushi on Vir’s desk rang.
Click!
“Yes, what is it?”
Vir answered immediately.
“Straw Hat—Straw Hat Luffy and his crew! They’ve already broken into the courthouse, sir! We’re no match for them! Requesting reinforcements!”
The voice on the other end was hurried, mixed with the sounds of gunfire and explosions.
The situation was clearly urgent.
“What?! What the hell are you all doing?! Useless trash! Keep fighting!”
Vir roared and slammed the receiver down.
Putting the Den Den Mushi down, he looked at the row of CP9 agents opposite him.
“Well? You all heard it. Those guys have already made it to the courthouse! Shouldn’t you be going out to stop them? After all, this is the mess you brought back with you!”
As soon as Vir finished speaking, Kaku was about to argue but was stopped by Lucci.
“These insects are truly annoying. After so many years of lying low, I really want to kill someone. I want to see blood.”
As Lucci spoke, his face remained expressionless.
Calm. Completely calm.
Hearing their leader say this, Kaku and Kalifa immediately stood up.
Jabra hesitated.
But after considering Lucci’s status as the CP9 captain and his terrifying strength, he reluctantly stood up as well.
Six of them.
Just enough to match Straw Hat’s crew.
Once Lucci got up, the group headed out together.
They didn’t even spare Vir a glance.
As if, in their eyes, Vir didn’t exist at all.
Robin should have been furious.
After all, they had lied to her.
They had promised not to attack Luffy and the others, yet now they were going back on their word.
But this time, she remained silent.
She didn’t even feel anger.
Because now, she was convinced.
Spandam was Vir.
And Vir’s decisions…
She never doubted them.
Bang.
The door was closed.
“At least they had the courtesy to close the door.” Vir muttered, standing up and walking toward Robin again.
He grabbed her chains and tugged her toward the balcony.
“Come on, let’s go watch your comrades get slaughtered one by one!”
Vir said viciously.
But Robin wasn’t scared at all.
The moment he finished speaking, she even took the initiative to walk toward the balcony.
She even tugged on the chain in Vir’s hand, urging him to hurry up.
At this moment, it was as if their roles had been reversed.
Robin seemed even more eager to watch than Vir.
Vir was dumbfounded.
Right now…
He could only say one thing.
WTF?
