In the boundless dark night, a formidable sea train was slowly making its way towards Enies Lobby.
Inside the train, almost all the passengers were men dressed in black. Clearly, this was a government-exclusive train.
In the first carriage, Robin sat motionless, her vacant eyes staring out the window.
'This time... I probably won't be able to escape.'
'My adventure... will likely end here.'
'Such a shame, Vir...'
'I won’t be able to stay with you all anymore.'
At the thought of Vir, Robin’s face finally showed some emotion.
A smile.
But it lasted only for a moment.
She couldn’t hesitate.
She had to sacrifice herself in exchange for everyone’s safety—and Vir’s future.
Because what lay before her...
Was a Buster Call.
Her nightmare. Her torment.
A terrifying force consisting of one Admiral and five Vice Admirals...
How utterly powerless one would feel against that.
Last time, Vir had already faced immense danger because of her.
If he got captured and sent to Impel Down because of her again, she would never forgive herself.
Against such an overwhelming force, even Vir wouldn't stand a chance.
That was why she had to make this choice.
If the Buster Call was activated, the Straw Hat crew wouldn't stand a chance of surviving...
And neither would Vir.
As Robin thought of Vir again, an involuntary smile formed on her lips.
"This way, he'll be safe..."
She murmured softly.
But suddenly—!
A masked man appeared before her!
The abrupt sight startled her, making her lean back instinctively.
But when she noticed his long nose, her expression flickered with momentary shock.
Yet, she quickly returned to her cold demeanor.
Usopp—no, he was Sogeking now.
He slowly lifted the window in front of him.
And the moment the window was opened—two figures leaped in at once!
"Robin-chan! We've come to save you!"
Sanji declared the moment he landed.
But Robin merely stared at them coldly.
Sanji’s face immediately showed a hint of urgency.
Why was Robin...
Acting so indifferent?
Just as Sanji was about to speak again—
the door behind them was pushed open.
"What do you rats think you're doing?"
Lucci, Kaku, and the rest of CP9 entered the carriage.
All the undercover CP9 agents had gathered—except for Blueno.
Usopp’s eyes widened in shock as he glanced at the group behind them before turning to Robin.
Their movements had been so silent...
There was no way they should have been detected.
Was it Robin?
Impossible.
Why would she do this?
"Robin! Don’t you want to come back with us? Let's go!"
Usopp suddenly shouted, realization dawning on him.
But Robin remained cold and silent.
"She won't be going anywhere with you."
Kaku, growing impatient, spoke as he charged forward!
Sanji, without hesitation, met him head-on!
The battle between the two erupted instantly.
Meanwhile, Usopp stared at Robin, his face filled with confusion.
He couldn’t understand—why wouldn’t Robin leave with them?
No matter the problem, they could face it together!
"Robin! Come on!"
There was already a hint of pleading in Usopp’s voice.
"I've said it many times already."
As Robin spoke, she raised her arms in the stance of the Hana Hana no Mi.
Suddenly—
Multiple arms sprouted on both Usopp and even Sanji, who was fighting nearby!
Then—
Crack!
Caught off guard, the two were completely subdued by Robin, who had grown significantly stronger since their journey began!
Robin walked forward step by step, grabbing Usopp and Sanji before heading toward the window they had entered from.
"Oi! Robin! If you do this, how are we supposed to face Vir when he returns?! He’ll kill us!"
Sanji’s words made Robin pause for a brief moment.
But after a slight hesitation, she still threw them into the freezing ocean below!
"How heartless, Nico Robin."
Kalifa remarked as she watched Robin.
"Enough nonsense. You promised not to hurt them."
Robin said coldly.
Lucci’s expression darkened at her words, clearly displeased.
But he did not act rashly.
He simply said in a calm tone, "We’ve already been merciful to you. I suggest you don't push your luck."
"Once we arrive at Enies Lobby, your nightmare will truly begin. Our useless superior isn’t as gentle as we are."
With that, Lucci turned and led the others away.
As the carriage door shut with a resounding thud, Robin’s heart sank further into despair.
The head of Enies Lobby, even she had heard of him.
He was truly a capricious man.
Executing so-called "criminals" before their trials was a common occurrence for him.
Falling into his hands...
What would become of her?
Robin wasn’t sure.
But she had already come this far—there was no turning back.
Even as unease crept into her heart, her resolve remained firm.
As long as she could save Vir, what did a little suffering matter?
If she had to die—so be it!
...
"Sir! The government train is about to arrive! Nico Robin and Franky are on board!"
"Alright, got it. Have them bring the prisoners over."
Swish
Bonk!
Bonk!
After hitting the two behind him on the head with a brick.
Vir put it away again.
How many times was that?
Probably the seventh time.
These strong people seem to wake up faster than ordinary folks.
It was making his hands sore from all the smacking.
Momousagi was fine—Vir hadn’t hit her too hard.
But Chaton was a different story.
His aura just rubbed Vir the wrong way.
So he had struck him especially hard.
Now, Chaton's big face bore several brick marks.
They looked quite deep.
Probably... they'll leave some scars.
Whatever!
Oh well!
Who cares!
A few more scars won’t make a difference!
Let him hold a grudge if he wants!
Now that Robin was here.
Luffy and the others would arrive soon.
This was their stage to perform—he would quietly watch alongside Robin.
Besides, he still had to keep an eye on these two.
If they woke up, things would get troublesome.
Fighting without any gain? Who’d want that?
If a brick could do the job, why waste punches and kicks?
Wonder how Robin would react when she saw him?
Nervous? Afraid? Uneasy?
Any of those were possible.
Hmm?
Maybe he could use this to farm some negative emotions from her?
It could work.
As long as she didn’t recognize him right away.
That would ruin the fun.
He just had to act well enough.
Time to scare her a little!
