OP Doctor - Ch 106
🕑 Added 2025-03-17 16:03:00 +0000 UTCChapter 106: The Unyielding Momousagi
Momousagi executed a dazzling thrust.
The tip of her sword was coated in a dense layer of Armament Haki.
In the blink of an eye, she was already in front of Vir.
Her Observation Haki had locked onto all of Vir's possible escape routes.
At this distance, he hadn't even moved.
That meant he had no way to dodge this strike! And she hadn't held back in the slightest.
Even though her strength had decreased significantly.
This thrust was more than enough to kill a pirate with a 200-million bounty!
A single strike would be enough for an instant kill!
Just as she thought it was all about to end—
A single finger appeared in front of her sword.
A finger?
Was this some kind of joke?
Even Chaton wouldn't dare to block her attack like this!
Not even her current self would!
This was suicide!
"Die! You scoundrel!"
Momousagi declared with confidence, her longsword gaining even more momentum.
Then, she thrust it fiercely into Vir's index finger!
But this time, the result was the same—a crisp metallic clang rang out!
The imagined scene of Vir's arm being crippled did not happen.
He had completely blocked Momousagi’s full-force strike!
Her longsword could not advance a single inch further!
His face remained as calm as ever.
Momousagi, however, was the complete opposite.
What!!
Blocked again!
What the hell was going on!
Earlier, she hadn't used Armament Haki, so it was understandable that he could stop her attack.
But this strike—she hadn't held back at all!
And yet, the result remained unchanged!
To achieve this, at the very least, his Armament Haki had to be at an admiral's level!
But how was that even possible!
A mere pirate with a 200-million bounty—you’re telling me he has Armament Haki on an admiral’s level?!
That was even more absurd than an admiral losing to him!
Someone like this—how could his bounty only be 200 million?
At minimum, he should be worth over a billion!
Her shock hadn’t even subsided when an even more terrifying scene unfolded.
She saw a flash of electricity suddenly appear on Vir’s jet-black finger.
In an instant, she realized something was wrong!
She tried to pull back her sword, but it was already too late.
There was no overwhelming electromagnetic burst.
Instead, a powerful electric shock surged through the blade and into Momousagi’s body!
"One Billion Volts: Paralysis."
Vir spoke softly, a blinding light exploded from Momousagi’s body!
One billion volts, enhanced threefold by his mastery of lightning elements.
This strike—
Could Momousagi even withstand it?
Even for him, unleashing one billion volts required some charge-up time.
This was already his limit.
"Aaaaaah!!!"
Bzzzt—bzzzt—!
Momousagi’s screams were nearly drowned out by the crackling electricity.
For a full five seconds—
The lightning finally subsided.
The intense glow gradually faded.
Vir looked down.
He saw Momousagi’s body, slightly charred, lying limp on the ground.
Her body occasionally twitched.
Clearly, she had been severely electrocuted.
That should do it.
As Vir thought this, he quickly stepped forward to check.
After confirming that she was truly unconscious, he didn’t waste any time—
He smacked her with a brick.
The sooner he did it, the sooner he’d feel at ease.
If he didn’t do it, he always felt uneasy.
With that done, it was time to bring out his "divine tool".
He wondered if Momousagi would enjoy being kissed by him.
At that moment, however, the unconscious Momousagi suddenly regained consciousness.
She dazedly looked around.
But in an instant, she became fully alert!
What was happening?
Why…?
Why couldn't she move?!
She tried to move her body, but even raising a single finger was impossible!
It felt as though only her eyes could move.
She could only control her gaze.
Vir noticed her darting eyes and found it intriguing.
Why did it feel like, after being hit with a brick, these people could still perceive the outside world?
It was the same with Aokiji last time.
The moment he gave Robin a chainsaw, Aokiji had already started giving negative points.
That never happened before.
Could it be that only the truly strong experienced this effect?
In that case… an extra step was necessary.
Vir didn’t proceed immediately.
First, he transformed into Spandam’s appearance and dragged Chaton to the door.
His secretary was standing outside.
"Keep an eye on him! Don’t let anyone in!"
After saying that, Vir turned and slammed the door shut.
Before the door closed, the secretary caught a glimpse of the unconscious Momousagi inside.
Her eyes flickered with envy...
When he returned, Vir looked at Momousagi and began explaining her "condition".
"You’ve been poisoned. I haven’t developed an antidote yet. If you don’t receive treatment soon, the poison will gradually transform into... that kind of drug."
"Do you understand? If you do, move your eyes."
Momousagi had been furiously cursing Vir for his shamelessness.
She never expected to fall for his tricks.
In her mind, she had already cursed Vir to hell and back.
His despicable nature was now permanently etched into her memory.
Now, hearing Vir’s words, her body tensed up even more.
No antidote?
You made poison but didn’t prepare a cure?!
If left untreated, it would turn into "that kind" of drug?!
This…
She had no doubt it would work on her.
She could already feel most of her strength fading, proving that Vir’s poison was real.
And if it fully took effect, what kind of situation would she be in?
Her body couldn’t move right now.
But that was because Vir had smacked her with a brick. He could probably undo this state at any time.
And if that happened…
No! This scenario…
Absolutely not!
Vir watched her trembling eyes and smirked.
That kind of drug?
What drug?
Idiot, I was just messing with you!
"There’s only one way to cure this poison."
Vir paused for a moment before continuing:
"The method is… you have to let me…"
Vir whispered something into Momousagi’s ear.
As soon as she heard it, her eyes widened!
What did he just say?
At first, she thought she had misheard.
It took her a moment to process it!
That kind of thing?!
Impossible!
Momousagi began to struggle furiously.
Her body actually managed to twitch slightly.
Vir noticed her resistance.
But…
That’s exactly what he wanted!!!
The more you resist—
The more I gain!
"Now, there’s only the two of us here. That means I’m the only one who can help you."
Vir said, taking out a cloth.
He covered Momousagi’s eyes—
Blocking her vision of the outside world completely.
Even her Observation Haki was fully suppressed by Vir.
She desperately tried to break free.
Her body slowly began regaining sensation.
Vir was amazed.
This was the first time he had encountered something like this.
Even Aokiji didn’t struggle this much.
Impressive, Momousagi!
Looks like the rewards this time will be exceptional.
He just want a physical boost, that's not too much to ask, right?
