OP Doctor - Ch 102
🕑 Added 2025-03-16 16:01:11 +0000 UTCChapter 102: Tekkai!!
Blueno had already planned out his next move.
But things were clearly not going the way he expected...
Vir didn’t even lift an eyelid.
Watching Blueno charge at him, he merely raised a finger.
His finger met Blueno’s Shigan head-on!
The expected scene of Vir’s finger snapping didn’t happen.
Vir effortlessly blocked his attack.
A look of surprise flashed in Blueno’s eyes.
This guy…
He’s got some skill!
Looks like it's time to get serious!
Blueno was about to retract his finger to gather strength for another strike.
But before he could pull back, a searing pain suddenly spread through his fingertip.
Looking up, he saw Vir’s index finger gradually lighting up with a dazzling glow.
Blueno could feel the ominous presence of danger.
But he didn’t panic.
Right before Vir’s lightning beam fired—
“Tekkai!”
Blueno shouted!
The moment the two forces collided, Blueno suddenly saw flashback of his childhood friends.
Happy memories from his younger days resurfaced.
Huh?
What’s going on??
Before he could figure it out—
BOOM!
A loud explosion erupted.
Blueno was sent flying backward, crashing heavily into the wall behind him.
A mouthful of fresh blood burst from his lips.
Electricity coursed through his body, making every nerve scream in pain.
And his chest—
A gaping hole had been blasted clean through!
The intense pain snapped him out of his brief moment of nostalgia.
He stared in horror at the missing chunk of flesh in his torso.
His usual composure was gone.
That’s when he realized something was terribly wrong.
This guy’s strength was beyond anything he could have imagined!
Just one hit—
With just one strike, not only had his Tekkai been broken, but he was also nearly killed.
If that attack had been just a millimeter off, his heart would have been pierced.
He would’ve been done for.
But even now, if he didn’t get treatment immediately, death would still come knocking.
As despair started creeping in, Vir had already stepped in front of him.
“Tsk, Tekkai is such a useful skill.”
“Do you need some medical attention? Luckily, I’m a doctor.”
Blueno’s face showed a moment of confusion.
What was this guy trying to do?
But he could no longer speak.
All he could do was watch as Vir placed him onto the long table in the room.
Then, to his shock, Vir seriously began putting on medical gear.
Gloves, a mask...
The mask was fine, but those gloves—
They looked more like rags!
Yet, seeing Vir’s professional demeanor, Blueno was genuinely dumbfounded.
Is he actually trying to save me?
Why?
Blueno couldn’t figure it out.
“Well, your chest is missing a huge chunk. That’s actually easy to fix—just need to fill it in.”
As he spoke, Vir rummaged through his medical kit.
But Blueno, seeing that medical kit, felt an odd sense of familiarity.
Wait…
Isn’t that the medical kit of one of our targets—the Straw Hat crew’s doctor, Vir?
I heard his treatment methods are incredibly brutal...
Could the rumors be true?
Why does this guy have his kit?
While Blueno was deep in confusion, Vir had already pulled out an artificial chest cavity.
Pre-made parts, easy to install. Very convenient.
But before that, he needed to cut away a bit more of Blueno’s chest.
The parts burned by the lightning wouldn’t heal properly.
Yet, as Blueno saw what Vir had taken out, his face turned utterly horrified.
That… that just looks like a lump of rotten meat!
Wait, didn’t he just say he was going to “fill it in”?
Could it be…???
Seeing Blueno’s terrified expression, Vir smirked.
The fear filter really works wonders.
“This is some leftover minced pork from last night’s dinner. I forgot to put it in the fridge, so it might smell a bit funky. Try to endure it.”
The moment he finished speaking—
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have gained 3,000 Negative Points!]
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have gained 2,000 Negative Points!]
Blueno was utterly nauseated.
So that explains the weird smell!
Minced pork was one thing… but rotten minced pork?!
He wasn’t even being treated as a human—more like a godforsaken science experiment!
If that gets put in my chest, I might die immediately!!
Just as he was on the verge of mental collapse, the buzzing sound of a chainsaw yanked his attention back.
Before he could see what was happening—
The chainsaw plunged straight into his chest!
And before he could react—
It had already carved a perfect circle around his wound!
PFFT!!
A fountain of blood erupted from Blueno’s mouth.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have gained 8,000 Negative Points!]
What… just happened?
Why do he feel like… something just cut through him?
His vision blurred as he tried to process the situation.
Meanwhile, Vir was casually waving a massive slab of flesh in front of Blueno’s dazed eyes.
“This piece—do you still want it? If not, I’ll take it home to feed my pet.”
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have gained 5,000 Negative Points!]
Using his own flesh…
To feed a pet…
Blueno wanted to die right then and there.
But before that thought could fully form, he suddenly felt his chest being stuffed—
STUFFED TO THE BRIM!
His whole body instantly felt bulkier.
Yet, the artificial chest cavity still wasn’t fitting properly.
“No choice, I need to hammer it in.”
Vir pulled out a hammer the size of an oil barrel from his kit.
Blueno: '…That better not be what I think it is.'
“Heave-ho!”
BAM!
“Heave-ho!”
BAM!
His only response was the repeated sound of “Heave-ho”…
For more than a dozen strikes…
Until finally—
CRACK! BOOM!
The sturdy wooden table beneath Blueno finally gave in.
He crashed to the ground, leaving behind a table riddled with cracks.
In that moment, Blueno knew one thing for sure—
This guy…
He was definitely the Straw Hat crew’s doctor.
No doubt about it.
This kind of “unique” medical practice—
Even though Blueno had never seen the Straw Hat’s doctor in action, he was certain of his judgment.
There was no way two insane medical prodigies could exist in the same era.
“All done. With everything packed so tightly, your body should heal over time.”
Right now, Blueno felt like his chest was about to explode.
Even as Vir said that, he poured some mysterious oil over the wound.
No way a wound like this would heal naturally.
But the oil could help the body adapt to the foreign chest cavity.
And just as Vir finished up, the system chimed again.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have gained 6,000 Negative Points!]
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for obtaining the ability: Spatial Door.]
[Spatial Door: Allows the user to freely open a spatial portal, entering into space itself. The exit location can be chosen freely, but the further the distance, the greater the stamina consumption.]
Looking at this newly acquired skill, a wide grin spread across Vir’s face.
Looks like there’s no need to torment this guy any further.
One attempt was all it took.
The ability description seemed quite broad.
At first glance, it appeared to be the same as Blueno’s Door-Door Fruit ability.
But something created by the system? No way it would be just like the original.
The broader the ability, the greater the potential for creative applications.
Vir’s mind was already racing with possibilities.
For now, it seemed like he still needed to open doors, but once he mastered the skill, doors would become meaningless.
He’d basically just be bulldozing right through.
The efficiency would skyrocket.
At that point, teleportation would just be the basics.
If he played his cards right, becoming something like Doctor Strange wouldn’t even be out of the question!
