Moreover, the Door-Door Fruit might even be a spatial ability.
The future looks bright, indeed!
After making his wish, Vir looked at Aokiji’s face, which was now almost as handsome as Sanji’s once was.
He couldn’t help but feel a little guilty.
His eye would recover over time.
But his teeth…
Vir could only say:
"Maybe you should consider getting a scarf like Katakuri’s?"
Other than that, there was nothing he could do!
That was all he could offer!
With that thought, Vir took a rather nice-looking green scarf from his medical kit and placed it on Aokiji.
"Old man, don’t blame me. Born into this world, I have no choice but to go with the flow."
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You’ve earned 8,000 negative points!]
Sigh, looks like the old man still has a big grudge against me.
Whatever, one day, he’ll understand me!
"Oh right, old man, I almost forgot! I still need to do some acupuncture on you, or else your facial nerves might not reconnect properly."
As if suddenly remembering something, Vir excitedly spoke up.
Then, he started rummaging through his medical kit again.
Aokiji, who had thought they were about to leave, suddenly felt his heart sink.
But…
Acupuncture should be quick and simple, right?
Before Aokiji could finish that thought, Vir had already taken out his "needles".
A single one.
Yes, a single iron spike…
At least 30 centimeters long.
Yes, longer than the thickness of his face…
And in Vir’s other hand was a small hammer.
If he wasn’t mistaken, that was probably meant for hammering the spike in…
Aokiji: "Sumimasen?"
Vir, of course, paid no attention to him.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The system was also happily chiming in the background.
...
...
About five minutes later.
Vir, holding Chopper in one hand and grabbing Robin’s arm with the other, looked at Aokiji lying on the ground. Both of them bowed in unison.
Then, they turned and walked toward the ship!
"We’re leaving now, old man!"
Everything was fine at first.
But after Vir spoke, Aokiji miraculously twitched again.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You’ve earned 100,000 negative points!]
Hearing the system notification, Vir finally let go of Robin’s arm.
That’s right, he had been deliberately provoking the old man just now.
A free 100,000 points! Time to take off!
But Robin, seeing Vir let go of her hand, felt a little disappointed.
Though she didn’t show it.
She just quietly glanced at the grinning Vir.
Meanwhile, Vir was still basking in the joy of his newfound Negative Point wealth.
This trip.
Was really rewarding!
It was like a shopping spree.
So satisfying.
He couldn’t wait to check his total later!
Vir thought excitedly.
With Robin’s help, Luffy and the others had returned to the ship.
Now, each one of them was lying on the deck, looking miserable.
As if they had all been hit by Perona’s Negative Ghosts.
"Hey, hey, hey! Don’t be like that! Why is everyone so down? Guys! Weren’t we having a blast earlier?"
They were unhappy, but Vir was delighted.
Maybe he’d even get some physical stat boosts when he healed them!
But just as he was celebrating, Usopp, who had been lying on the deck, suddenly stood up.
Everyone turned to look at him in unison.
Vir immediately tensed up.
"Hey, bro, what’s up with you?"
Vir asked with a serious expression.
But even Usopp himself seemed confused.
He blankly said, "I don’t know, I just felt like I could stand up, so I did."
Huh?
What kind of talk is this?
This is bad.
Vir could see it.
These guys weren't really hurt.
That old man Aokiji had really controlled his strength perfectly.
They had just rested for a while and recovered on their own.
Vir had to admit, old man, you’re quite gentle.
But you messed up!
You went too easy on them!
"Hey~~! My hand is fine now!"
"My leg moves too!"
"Me too!"
Seeing Usopp stand up, the others tried as well.
The results were obvious.
They were completely fine.
This is why Vir always had to act fast with his treatment.
If you didn’t hurry, they would heal on their own!
"So… does that mean we don’t need treatment anymore?"
Usopp asked.
Everyone immediately snapped back to reality.
And scattered like the wind!
"Why are you even asking?! Are you stupid?!"
Nami’s voice rang out, snapping Usopp out of his daze.
Right!
Why he even asking?!
Run!
Everyone rushed to prepare for departure.
And they were all eager to work.
Trying to look as busy as possible.
Vir could only shake his head helplessly at the sight.
Forget it, we'll see when we get to Water 7.
No more wool to shear here.
Soon, Vir carried Chopper into their room.
Gently placing him on the bed, Vir started browsing the system shop.
This time, he had earned a total of 1.8 million Negative Points.
Truly an eye-opener.
He used to prioritize low-cost options.
But now, he could finally browse from the most expensive ones!
...
An hour after Vir and his crew had left, Aokiji finally woke up.
He trembled as he got up.
Reaching into his coat, he pulled out his Den Den Mushi.
He dialed a familiar number.
Marine Headquarters.
Fleet Admiral’s Office.
Three figures were sitting around a meeting table.
Each had a cup of tea before them.
On the table lay Vir’s bounty poster.
"I finally get a break, and you show me this for what?"
Sengoku asked Tsuru, picking up his tea and taking a sip.
"My instincts tell me, this kid isn’t simple. A Vice Admiral might not be enough to take them down."
Tsuru spoke, looking worried.
She had seen Vir’s potential and wanted Sengoku to send more forces.
"That’s right, Sengoku! This brat’s bounty is even higher than my grandson’s! We need to catch him! If no one else can, let me go! I’ll personally deliver him to your office and put him on your desk!"
Garp stopped eating his senbei and spoke indignantly.
But Sengoku just smiled mysteriously.
Taking another sip of tea, he confidently said:
"No need. I’ve already sent Aokiji after him. By now, he should be on his way back."
At those words, the other two looked at him in shock.
Sending an Admiral?
To deal with a rookie pirate?
While not impossible, it was certainly surprising.
"Aokiji, huh? You really think highly of him. But if it’s Aokiji, then nothing should go wrong."
Tsuru finally felt relieved.
Even Garp resumed eating his senbei.
Boring.
Sending an Admiral to bully a rookie.
How lame.
Garp secretly scoffed at Sengoku.
Just as Sengoku was about to continue speaking, his Den Den Mushi rang.
He picked it up, and an unfamiliar face appeared before the three of them.
"Who is this? Your illegitimate son, Sengoku? I’ve never seen him before, but he looks just like you! Bwahahahaha!"
Garp teased.
This Den Den Mushi line wasn’t one just anyone could call.
"Who are you?"
Sengoku frowned and asked.
"I’m Aokiji!"
