OP Doctor - Ch 90
🕑 Added 2025-03-10 16:05:01 +0000 UTCChapter 90: I Can’t Go On…
Vir had been smashing him with a brick for so long, yet not a single drop was given.
This guy’s tolerance was off the charts.
Well, he was an Admiral, after all. He had climbed up step by step to reach that position.
For him, this was nothing more than a minor setback.
But things were different now!
With 80,000 negative points gained on the spot, Vir made his decision.
For this round of treatment…
Robin would personally take the lead!
He would stand by her side, observing and guiding her!
Wait.
Just guiding wouldn’t cut it.
That wouldn’t count as him treating the patient.
What if he didn’t even receive negative points for it?
If that were the case…
Then he could just hold Robin’s hand?
That actually seemed feasible!
After all, he would still be the one performing the treatment—Robin was merely a proxy.
Time to give it a try!
Thinking this, Vir immediately put his acting skills into overdrive!
Robin, who was examining Aokiji’s injuries, suddenly heard a loud thud.
Something seemed to have collapsed.
She looked up to see Vir lying on the ground, his arms and legs convulsing uncontrollably!
This gave Robin a huge fright!
She instantly generated an arm on Vir’s body and grabbed the chainsaw that was about to fall.
Then, she hurried over to check on him.
Up close, she saw Vir foaming at the mouth, nosebleed flowing freely.
His eyes were rolling so far back they were nearly looking at the heavens.
Seeing Robin approach, Vir spat out another mouthful of blood!
Robin’s heart nearly stopped.
He was fine just moments ago—what happened?
Why did he suddenly look like he was about to die?
“Vir! What’s wrong with you?!”
Robin asked anxiously.
There was no doctor here. If Vir truly collapsed, she wouldn’t know what to do.
Did he get injured in the battle just now?
What should she do…
Why didn’t she know any medical skills?!
At this moment, Robin actually blamed herself.
“I… I just have some internal injuries. I’ll be fine after resting for a bit, don’t worry~”
“But Admiral Aokiji… I might not be able to treat him.”
Vir spoke weakly, sneaking a glance at Robin.
“Then we won’t treat him! You just focus on resting! Don’t push yourself!”
Robin quickly comforted him.
Aokiji: …
“No! He has done us a great favor! I can’t just abandon him! I have to hold on a little longer! I can do this!”
Vir struggled to get up.
But Robin held him back, shaking her head seriously.
“Admiral Aokiji is my dearest friend, my sworn brother! I absolutely cannot give up on him!”
Vir put on a righteous and heroic demeanor, which left everyone present stunned.
Is Vir really this noble?
Robin was also in a dilemma, unsure of what to do.
As she hesitated, Vir shamelessly spoke again.
“How about… you help me treat my dear friend?”
Robin was stunned.
“Me?”
She had no medical knowledge—how was she supposed to treat anyone?
What was Vir even saying?
“Yes, you. Although I’m severely injured, I can still teach you how to treat him. You’re the only one here who can do it now… cough cough… cough!”
Vir broke into a dramatic fit of coughing, looking like he was on the verge of death.
Robin saw his persistence, and remembering how Aokiji had helped her in the past, she did want to do something for him.
“…Alright.”
Robin softly agreed.
The moment she did, Vir immediately sprang to his feet, grabbed her hand, and shoved the chainsaw into it.
Then, hand-in-hand, he guided her toward Aokiji.
His actions were far too swift—quicker than even Robin, who was completely fine.
This whole sequence nearly fried Robin’s brain.
“…Weren’t you about to collapse?”
Robin asked uncertainly.
“Pffft~!”
Vir spat out another mouthful of tomato juice.
“I’m really about to die!”
…
Aokiji watched them move hand-in-hand, his heart sinking into despair.
He could see right through Vir’s terrible acting.
This kid… had ulterior motives!
Earlier, when Vir struck him, he hadn’t held back at all.
There wasn’t a slightest sign that he had been injured.
His ice-based attacks hadn’t even touched Vir.
So where did these so-called injuries come from?!
This was blatant fraud!
And now, watching Vir hold Robin’s hand, guiding her to operate a chainsaw over him…
Aokiji felt a deep sense of misery.
It was like watching the daughter he had raised get seduced by some street punk.
And that punk wasn’t just teaching her reckless behavior—he was leading her to set fire to their own living room.
Then, still holding her hand, the punk had the audacity to turn around and ask him, “Old man! Did I teach her well?”
This feeling was truly unbearable.
If it were just Vir tormenting him, Aokiji wouldn’t have even flinched.
But having Robin involved made it…
Embarrassing?
Not quite.
Aokiji couldn’t describe the feeling—it was just deeply unsettling.
And now, this lunatic was actually having Robin perform the surgery?!
Aokiji was starting to suspect that Vir had some sort of mind-reading ability!
The chainsaw buzzed loudly.
Vir guided Robin’s hands, cutting downward.
As they worked, he explained everything—where to cut, how to remove the pieces intact, the precise force and depth needed…
Robin followed his instructions with full concentration.
Before long, all the damaged organs in Aokiji’s sunken face were removed.
Only a battered skull was left exposed.
Vir then took out a basin filled with what looked like sewage water and tossed Aokiji’s facial parts into it.
Aokiji’s consciousness nearly shattered.
'Where did this guy just throw my face?!'
'What even is that stuff?!'
Watching his own face get dunked like that made him feel like he was about to split apart.
This experience…
He never wanted to go through it again.
It was absolutely horrifying!
Even for him, it was hard to endure.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You’ve earned 120,000 negative points!]
[Ding…]
Hearing the system’s rewarding chimes, Vir grinned in satisfaction.
Then, he pulled out a bottle of some pungent yellow liquid from his medical kit.
Without hesitation, he poured it directly into the hollow of Aokiji’s skull.
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You’ve earned 150,000 negative points!]
[Ding…]
Aokiji was on the verge of breaking down. This guy was actually pouring something into his head!
What the hell was this?!
Right now, Aokiji just wanted to know what this stuff was!
That disgusting liquid was absolutely unbearable!!
He was really about to reach his limit.
Meanwhile, under Vir’s control, Robin’s hands moved even faster.
The two of them reached inside together and started stirring things up.
They made sure that all the shattered bone fragments were coated in that liquid.
Robin didn’t resist at all. In fact, she found it oddly fascinating…
This substance was something Vir had developed. Normally, it could only be used to repair bones.
As for that foul-smelling sewage-like broth over there? That was for restoring organs like eyes.
But for it to work, the organs had to be fully submerged.
And that meant they had to be cut out first.
Aokiji could feel two hands moving around inside his skull, occasionally grabbing onto each other. Even someone as powerful as him couldn’t hold it together anymore.
What kind of doctor was this?!
How could they treat someone like this?!
