At this moment, Aokiji was completely stunned.
He could feel his surroundings, sense the bizarre situation he was in.
He could still think, still feel.
But he had no control over his body.
What the hell was going on?!
Was it that brick?
Did that brick somehow numb every limb in his body?
That’s impossible!
Since when do bricks have anesthetic properties? He had never heard of such a thing!
What kind of bizarre tool was this?
And that smoke—was that also this guy’s doing?
It actually worked on an Admiral?
Who said this kid’s tools were nothing but insignificant little tricks?
Even an Admiral like him had been taken down!
Maybe Fleet Admiral Sengoku’s words weren’t so reliable after all…
And another thing!
How did Vir suddenly break free?
Aokiji had unleashed his freezing power on him without holding back at all.
Yet, in an instant, Vir had broken free from his ice!
Even the seastone cuffs had no effect on him.
Vir had already stuffed those cuffs into his pocket.
What the hell is this?
Wasn’t he supposed to be frozen solid?
And that insane speed!
According to the intel, Vir’s speed was only at the level of a beginner’s Soru.
But now, for a moment, he had clearly surpassed even Aokiji’s speed!
You call that a beginner’s Soru?
That’s Admiral-level speed, damn it!
Fleet Admiral, if the intel is this outdated, just feed it to your goat!
Stop keeping it around like it’s worth something!!!
For the first time, Aokiji was genuinely frustrated at the complete lack of reliable intelligence.
What the hell was their intel division even doing?
They weren’t just useless—they were actively making things worse.
Aokiji was starting to feel real danger.
He couldn’t move, and he had just beaten up everyone present.
What happened next was completely out of his control…
Luffy and the others were just as wide-eyed, staring at the fallen Aokiji in shock.
Their gazes shifted between Vir and the unconscious Admiral.
There was no way to hide their disbelief.
They had all experienced Aokiji’s power firsthand.
To him, they were nothing more than toys to be played with.
They had zero chance of fighting back.
Yet now, that same overwhelming force had collapsed at Vir’s feet.
This was beyond anything they could comprehend.
What the hell was Vir?
How did he pull off something this impossible?
How did he do it?
That kick just now…
To be honest, it terrified them.
If any one of them had taken that hit, their heads would have exploded on the spot.
No doubt about it.
Vir had poured every ounce of strength he had into that attack.
The fact that Aokiji was still alive was a testament to his resilience.
And Aokiji had completely frozen Chopper.
Vir wouldn’t let him off easy for that!
Yet, Vir didn’t immediately deal with Aokiji.
After landing that kick and confirming the Admiral was fully incapacitated, he turned and ran toward Chopper.
That dumbass. If he stayed frozen too long, it’d be bad news.
Aokiji could wait.
Vir would deal with him properly later.
Standing before Chopper, Vir placed his hand on the frozen reindeer.
After sensing the situation, he realized it was just a thick ice shell encasing him.
The ice hadn’t harmed him internally.
It was purely meant to immobilize.
Vir’s face lit up with relief.
Well, Aokiji wasn’t such a bad guy after all.
'But I have no choice, old man. I need to get stronger! You’ll just have to endure it later.'
'For now, let’s get Chopper out of there. The longer he stays in that berserk state, the worse the aftereffects will be.'
With that in mind, Vir activated his Shaping ability.
The ice at his fingertips melted instantly.
And it spread at an astonishing speed.
That’s right, this ice was also inanimate!
It could be manipulated and removed like anything else.
That’s how he broke free so quickly just now.
Otherwise, even he wouldn’t have escaped Aokiji’s full-powered ice so fast.
In just a second, every last bit of ice vanished from Chopper’s massive form.
And as soon as he was free, his instincts took over—he swung a massive fist straight at Vir.
Vir wasn’t surprised.
He simply stood still.
Just as Chopper’s enormous hand was about to smash him, it suddenly stopped.
Chopper was struggling against himself.
But the struggle only lasted for half a second.
And then—
The hand continued to fall!
“Big bro!!”
The beastly voice roared, slurred but filled with remorse.
It was like he was cursing his own helplessness.
Vir was honestly caught off guard.
That was twenty Rumble Balls, kid.
And you still managed to seize control for even a split second?
Vir’s opinion of Chopper shot through the roof.
Of everyone here, Chopper fought the best!
'No!'
Chopper screamed in his mind.
BOOM!
The ground shook violently.
But Vir was already gone.
He now stood on Chopper’s shoulder.
Looking into those crimson eyes, he spoke gently, “I’m proud of you. Rest now.”
And with that—
A massive needle was ruthlessly plunged into Chopper’s neck!
A full vial of liquid was forcefully injected into his system in an instant.
Chopper’s eyes widened in shock!
He wanted to resist, to tear Vir apart.
But the serum had already taken effect!
This was a special formula Vir had prepared for just such an occasion.
It forcibly neutralized Chopper’s monstrous state.
The red in Chopper’s eyes rapidly faded, and his massive body shrank at an alarming rate.
His swinging arm fell limp.
Within moments, he had reverted to his tiny reindeer form.
Vir caught him in his arms.
“Don’t hit big bro… Big bro has weak legs…”
Even in deep unconsciousness, Chopper mumbled those words, his tiny face scrunching up in distress.
Vir couldn’t help but chuckle.
But then he remembered the pain Chopper would go through once the aftereffects kicked in, and his smile faded.
…Forget it.
The negative points he’d get from treating Aokiji… he’d use them to buy the best painkillers for this kid.
Whatever he could afford, he’d get it!
Not the most cost-effective—just the most expensive!
Chopper deserves nothing but the best!
He really earned it today!
