At this moment, their ship nearly smashed the opposing vessel of similar size to pieces!
A massive crack split the other ship down the middle.
Their electric-powered ship almost plowed straight through it, nearly cutting it in half!
If Marco hadn’t slowed down just in time...
It definitely would have been bisected.
But even now, Marco stared at the massive crack on the prow of their ship, his face darkening.
'Damn it... this ship was a gift.'
'It hasn’t even been two hours since we set sail!'
'And now it’s wrecked!'
'How am I supposed to face the crew of the Whitebeard Pirates—no, how am I supposed to face myself?'
Fuming, Marco shoved the door open and stormed out.
At the same time, a woman from the nearly-wrecked ship also burst out of her control room.
The two locked eyes the moment they stepped out.
Marco immediately shouted, "Hey, you! Do you even know how to steer a ship?!"
"If you don’t know how to sail, go home and sleep it off! What are you doing out here, wrecking other people’s property?!"
He jabbed his finger toward her, nearly poking it into her mouth.
But instead of the angry outburst he expected, the woman responded in an unexpectedly polite tone.
She bowed—a full ninety degrees.
"I’m so sorry! This was entirely my fault! I just learned how to sail recently! Whatever the repair costs are, I’ll pay—"
This...
This completely threw Marco off.
'Huh?'
'You’re not following the script.'
'Aren’t you supposed to yell back at me?'
'Why are you apologizing outright?'
'And not just apologizing—offering to pay?!'
Marco glanced at the nearly bisected ship behind her, then back at her, disbelief written all over his face.
'Your ship’s in worse shape than mine, and you’re worried about paying us?'
'Where the hell is this person from? Who raised her? Their manners could rival ours in the Whitebeard Pirates.'
Just then, Vir—who had just managed to peel himself off the cabin wall—froze as he heard the woman’s voice.
That voice... it sounded so familiar!
But... how could she be here?
That doesn’t make any sense.
Vir's mind raced. He quickly ran toward the source of the voice.
There stood a woman with long white hair, dressed in a kimono, horns on her head, and a figure so explosive it defied physics—repeatedly apologizing to Marco.
Yamato!
It really was her!
What the hell was she doing here?!
Wasn’t she supposed to be stuck in Wano?
Could it be... Kaido is dead?
Otherwise, how could Yamato be out here?
Vir was stunned. This was completely unexpected.
And just as Yamato straightened from her bow, she locked eyes with Vir.
Her previously apologetic expression instantly turned into one of pure shock—matching Vir’s perfectly.
The two stared at each other—your surprise outmatched only by mine.
Marco was absolutely dumbfounded.
"What the hell is this?"
'I crashed into someone’s ship... and now you two are locking eyes like you’re in a damn romance drama?!'
Marco was speechless.
"You... you... y-you’re Vir, right?!"
Yamato finally came to her senses and pointed at Vir, eyes sparkling with excitement.
She even started hopping in place from how fired up she was!
Honestly, it looked kind of cute.
But when Marco heard her say that, his face darkened even more.
'Oh, great.'
'This girl’s obviously seeing Vir for the first time.'
'She must’ve only known him from bounty posters. But...'
'But you were apologizing to me this whole time!'
'Why... why don’t you recognize me?!'
'My bounty’s even higher than his, damn it!'
Vir, meanwhile, was just as surprised to hear her call out his name.
How did this girl recognize him?
She didn’t seem like the type to care about bounty posters...
Could it be... Ace?
He was probably the only one who could’ve mentioned him to her.
"I’m Vir. You know me?"
Vir asked cautiously.
After all, it was just a guess.
But as soon as he finished speaking—
Yamato lunged at him!
Yup. Lunged.
She launched herself at him like she was trying to tackle him into the afterlife!
Vir froze on the spot.
He never expected this kind of reckless charge from Yamato!
This was their first time meeting!
You can’t just go full-on body slam right off the bat!
By the time he thought of teleporting away, it was too late.
Yamato's hands were already on his shoulders.
And then—
BOOM!
Vir was sent flying!
The two of them crashed hard into the deck.
Marco, who was already reeling from emotional damage, stood there with his jaw on the floor.
'What the—'
'WHAT THE ACTUAL—'
'WHAT IS THIS?!'
'Am I... interrupting something here?!'
'Should I just jump into the sea and give you two some privacy?!'
'Call me back when you’re done?!'
'I’ve been single for over thirty—no, forty years!'
'You bastard—'
'You run into a random girl, and she just throws herself at you?!'
'Have you no shame?!'
'Animals!'
'ABSOLUTE ANIMALS!!'
Marco’s jealousy was so intense his eyes were turning red.
The bitter despair of a middle-aged man consumed him entirely.
'Have I fallen behind the times?'
'I’m getting old...'
'I’m just too damn old!'
Vir had mostly been stunned into inaction, which allowed Yamato to bring him down like that.
But her strength was nothing to scoff at either.
She wasn’t much weaker than Vir.
"Vir! Vir! I finally found you! Hahahaha! This is amazing!"
Yamato wrapped her arms around his neck, shaking him so hard his head thunked against the deck repeatedly.
"Mmph—! L-Lightning Cannon!"
BOOM!
Yamato went flying.
But not too far—just enough to land next to Marco.
"Huff... huff..."
Vir gasped for air like a drowning man.
That was way too close.
Getting suffocated by boobs is no joke...
Marco, meanwhile, was about to lose it.
'Bro.'
'If you don’t want her, give her to me!'
'I’m not picky!'
'You even went and blasted her off you?!'
'Young people these days... you really don’t know how good you have it.'
'Just wait till you hit my age—you will regret this!'
'You ungrateful bastard!'
Vir hadn’t used much force—just enough to push her off without doing damage.
Yamato, now sitting on the deck, stared at Vir with wide-eyed amazement.
So cool! He could knock her away even while pinned!
This is awesome!
Seeing her gearing up for another charge, Vir quickly raised a hand.
"Stop! Stay right there! Don’t move!"
"Whatever you have to say, say it from there! One more step and I won’t hold back!"
Marco: [Internally screaming]
Yamato froze at Vir’s warning.
Finally, she realized... this might’ve been a bit much.
Right. He didn’t even know who she was yet.
"Hello. Nice to meet you."
She gave a polite nod... then shot Marco a quick glance.
Marco: [Suffering]
"My name is Yamato! I came here specifically to find you!"
Her eyes sparkled with determination.
"I want to invite you to join the Beasts Pirates!"
