This is going to be great, but I noticed something: The Dutch Colonial Troops armor is colored all the same. But what they're wearing are Breastplates over Buff Coats. A Buff Coat is a form of leather armor either worn separately or in tandem with a Breatplate, that has the benefit of being lighter and more flexible but with the downside of not stopping a bullet (a sword thrust or ricochet into the groin however. . .) .
