At this moment, everyone present was staring at the chainsaw in Vir’s hands!
Their shocked expressions were completely unhidden!
Bro, what the hell?
What are you doing—oof—
Why are you holding a chainsaw? Are you planning to slice, chop, and mince our old man?
Is this what you call a "treatment style"?
Are you serious, dude?
Though they were afraid Vir might be an assassin, Whitebeard hadn’t said anything, so they couldn’t just step in and stop him.
Besides, Ace was the one who introduced him.
His character should be trustworthy.
Maybe... this really was his way of treating people?
Even Whitebeard’s lips twitched slightly at this moment.
He had roamed the seas for so many years.
But he had never seen anyone use a chainsaw for treatment!
What is this kid trying to do?
“Ptui~ Ptui~”
Vir spat twice onto his palms, then gripped the chainsaw and walked up to Whitebeard.
“Let me explain first, ahem.”
“Your current condition is that your internal organs and muscles are riddled with cracks. Fortunately, I happen to know a massage technique that can heal those cracks.”
“I can directly massage your muscles and blood vessels from the surface of your body, but that won’t work for your internal organs.”
“I need to take them out one by one, massage them properly, and then put them back in once I’m done.”
“After the massage, with the addition of my acupuncture therapy, you should be able to temporarily reach a near-peak state.”
“For full recovery, though, you’ll need long-term medication.”
Vir calmly laid out his treatment plan and the expected results.
After hearing Vir’s explanation, everyone suddenly understood.
Ohhh~
So the chainsaw is for taking out the organs.
They thought it was for something else...
WHAT THE ACTUAL F**K?!
Who the hell takes out organs with a goddamn chainsaw?!
Do you even hear yourself talking?!
Why are you saying such insane things so casually?
Don’t you realize how ridiculous this sounds?!
Whitebeard listened to Vir’s words.
Though he also found it bizarre, he didn’t panic.
Waving his hand for Vir to hurry up, he also asked, “Kid, what was your previous job?”
There was a genuine curiosity on his face.
He really wanted to know.
What kind of profession creates a doctor with this kind of style?
Hearing this, Vir chuckled lightly.
BZZZZZZT!
SPLURT!
The chainsaw dug into flesh, yet Whitebeard’s expression remained unchanged.
Vir smiled as he replied, “I’m an old veterinarian. Saving you is like breathing to me!”
Just a moment ago, Whitebeard had been unfazed!
Now, his eyes widened in shock!
The calm and composed look on his face was finally broken!
Veterinarian?!
Wait—
VETERINARIAN?!
Right now, he was being cut open by a veterinarian with a chainsaw?!
If this gets out, the entire world will be in shock!
So these crude methods...
They were all used on animals before?
Then right now...
Was he being treated like livestock?!
The others also had their eyes widened in disbelief.
Vir... was actually a veterinarian?!
Goddammit, Ace!
You really are a dead man!
You brought a veterinarian to treat your Pops?!
You’re truly, incredibly, unbelievably “filial” aren’t you?!
Filial to the point that you’re almost sending your old man to the grave!
Once we rescue your sorry ass, we’re gonna beat the shit out of you!
You monster! You absolute animal!
The moment Vir’s identity was exposed, Ace instantly became the target of universal condemnation.
The moment they found out Vir was a veterinarian, everyone, including Whitebeard, became extremely tense.
If Vir made any suspicious moves, they would absolutely charge in and pin him down immediately!
Meanwhile, Vir had already cut open Whitebeard’s entire chest and abdomen.
Even the bones that were in the way had been cleared aside.
The blood gushing out had completely soaked the deck beneath Whitebeard.
Larger body, larger blood loss.
And yet, Whitebeard wasn’t showing the slightest bit of distress.
This wasn’t outside of Vir’s expectations.
But for the rest of the Whitebeard Pirates, seeing their father’s exposed internal organs made their eyes widen in shock.
This...
What is this?
A shattered vase about to fall apart?
Namur’s eyes nearly popped out of his skull.
In that moment, he finally understood what Vir meant by “about to shatter”.
He really wasn’t exaggerating—Pops was really falling apart...
Everyone suddenly grasped the immense suffering Whitebeard had endured over the years.
Living with a body like this...
Wouldn’t that be pure agony?
Pops...
He’s sacrificed so much for us...
Only Marco had some prior knowledge of the situation.
But even he hadn’t expected it to be this bad.
In the past, he could still use the Phoenix flames to suppress Whitebeard’s condition.
But now... it was impossible.
So this...
This is how shattered he’s become...
His gaze turned to Vir, who was rummaging through his medical kit.
In his eyes, a flicker of hope appeared.
"Keep going, Vir... If you can really pull this off, I’ll repay you however you want."
His voice was barely audible as he murmured.
At this moment, Vir took out several tubes from his medical kit.
He first pressed one end of a tube against Whitebeard's lung. As soon as it made contact, the tube automatically adhered to the organ.
Then, Vir connected the other end of the tube to Whitebeard’s trachea, essentially creating a system that allowed his organ to function outside his body.
Otherwise, if he removed the heart later, wouldn't that mean instant death?
He wasn’t Law, after all—he couldn’t just cut out a heart and have the person still be fine.
With the preparations complete, the only thing left to do was to remove the lung and massage it.
Vir slowly reached inside, placing his hands on Whitebeard’s lung.
Whitebeard was completely dumbfounded.
With a helpless tone, he reminded, "Kid... you just spat on your hands, didn’t you?"
"No worries! A little spit never hurts, makes things smoother!"
As Vir spoke, his hands started applying pressure.
Whitebeard’s eyes instantly widened!
His voice finally took on a hint of urgency. "Oi, oi, oi! What the hell are you doing?!"
"Taking it out!"
Vir's face flushed slightly from exertion as he answered with some difficulty.
Whitebeard watched as Vir put all his strength into pulling, and then looked at his own lung, which was indeed starting to separate from his body!
He asked again, "Can’t you use a scalpel?! Why are you ripping it out by hand?!"
Squelch.
Shrrkk~
Riiip—
Before Whitebeard could finish speaking—
Vir successfully yanked Whitebeard’s lung out!
Wiping away nonexistent sweat from his forehead, Vir said in an incredibly natural tone, "That would’ve taken too long. See? The result is the same, and this way, it’s done instantly!"
[Ding! Congratulations, Host! You’ve earned 400,000 negative points!]
Hiss~~~
Holding Whitebeard’s freshly removed lung, Vir was momentarily stunned by the system’s notification.
Though he had guessed that this act would generate a lot of points, he hadn’t expected it to be this much!
Four hundred thousand!
Four hundred thousand Negative Points!
Damn, that was insane!
The world’s strongest man—this title wasn’t just for show!
At that moment, Marco and the others stared at the bloodied lung in Vir’s hands, their eyes bulging.
Uh...
You said you were going to remove the organ, right?
Well...
You did remove it...
Wait, what the hell?!
You removed it like that?!
Where did you even learn medicine?!
Who the hell taught you this method?!
Ripping it out by brute force?!
How traumatized must a patient be after experiencing this?!
Damn, being your patient must be the unluckiest thing ever!
Being injured was already painful enough, and now you were treating them like this?!
First, you used a chainsaw to cut open the chest, and now you’re just ripping organs out?!
Dude, are you serious?!
As their eyeballs were practically popping out of their sockets, Vir pulled out an unmarked bottle from his medical kit.
Then, he took out a high-end gas mask from the system store, which cost him 30,000 Negative Points.
It was highly effective at filtering out harmful gases and strong odors in the air.
Fully geared up, Vir’s appearance only further bewildered the spectators.
What the hell?
You took out a bottle... and now you’re putting on a gas mask?!
Do you really need to take this so seriously?!
At this moment, as they stared at the bottle in Vir’s hands, everyone started having a very bad feeling.
Pop~
The cap slowly came off.
The instant it did, an unholy stench exploded across the deck, saturating the air in seconds.
For two whole seconds, the entire crew stood frozen.
Then—
Coughing. Gagging. Screaming.
Chaos erupted.
"COUGH—WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SMELL?! IT’S SO RANCID! MY EYES ARE BURNING!"
"GAG—STOP TALKING! GAG—IT’S LIKE ROTTEN SWEAT! IT’S STUCK IN MY THROAT!"
"AAAAAH! MY EYES! MY EYES! I’M BLIND!"
At this point, only Marco barely managed to remain standing.
The others had all collapsed to their knees.
Though Marco was keeping his composure, his eyes were redder than molten lava, his tear-and-snot-covered face was a complete mess, and his trembling body betrayed his true suffering.
No doubt about it—
This stench was lethal.
It burrowed straight into their noses, making it impossible to ignore!
It was like having a whole armpit-coated wasabi root shoved directly into their faces.
Staying composed?
Who the hell could manage that?!
If the others were suffering, Whitebeard—being the closest to Vir—was enduring absolute torture.
The ferocious reek was so potent that even this battle-hardened legend couldn’t stop the tears streaming down his face.
Not by choice.
He just couldn’t take it.
His body revolted, his stomach lurching with the urge to vomit.
Whitebeard covered his face with one hand, pretending to rub his eyes—but really, he was trying to block the olfactory assault.
He was this close to puking.
But then—
A sudden realization struck Whitebeard.
Wait a minute.
Why did he take this cursed thing out?
He couldn’t possibly be planning to drink it, right?
Then... what was he planning to do?
Was Vir going to apply it to his body?!
