OP Doctor - Ch 121
🕑 Added 2025-03-25 16:04:01 +0000 UTCChapter 121: Sobbing Robin
Doberman stared at the hand gripping his fist, his face instantly showing a look of utter disbelief.
What’s going on?
This guy…
How does he still have strength?
And such immense strength at that!
Wasn’t he on the verge of death?
Feeling his arm completely immobilized, Doberman’s expression grew more and more horrified.
That’s right.
Vir’s movements were now entirely unhindered.
His stamina and injuries had already recovered by twenty percent.
From his perspective, dealing with these two was a piece of cake.
As long as he had the stamina, beating them was nothing more than child’s play.
At that moment, Onigumo swung his blade, slashing toward him.
But to Vir, his movements were completely transparent.
With just a slight tilt of his body, the long blade brushed past his chest and slid downward.
Onigumo, seeing Vir so close, wanted to withdraw his attack, but the momentum was unavoidable, forcing him forward.
And right in front of him… a black-gold right foot was rapidly approaching…
BANG!
Onigumo was sent flying backward!
A deep dent, identical to Doberman’s, was imprinted on his face.
His facial bones were nearly shattered beyond recognition.
The power of Vir’s kick was perfectly calculated.
At that moment, Doberman, whose hand was still gripped by Vir, shouted:
“Shigan!”
His other hand’s finger thrust straight toward Vir.
Seeing the incoming attack, Vir sneered in disdain.
Slow. Weak. Pathetic!
Thinking this, Vir countered with his own Shigan.
But his finger crackled with electricity.
The moment their attacks collided—
Doberman was instantly overwhelmed!
Whether it was Armament Haki, raw strength, or his mastery of Six Styles, Vir surpassed him in every aspect!
Doberman’s finger immediately snapped!
Squelch!
Vir’s electrified finger effortlessly pierced through Doberman’s palm!
And then—
“Lightning Cannon!”
A powerful surge of lightning streaked through Doberman’s entire arm!
It surged from his shoulder and shot into the sky!
Doberman’s face twisted in agony!
His left arm had completely vanished.
But Vir had no intention of stopping there!
This guy…
Must die!
Doberman, now crippled, fully realized Vir’s overwhelming strength.
There was no way he could match this monster!
Escape!
He had to escape!
Otherwise—
He would die!
“Rankyaku! Rankyaku! Rankyaku!”
Three slicing wind blades shot toward Vir’s right hand.
Doberman’s intent was clear—he wanted Vir to let go!
His hand was still gripped!
But Vir couldn’t even be bothered to look at the attack!
A layer of Armament Haki coated his arm, and he ignored the assault entirely.
Instead, his right index finger aimed straight for Doberman’s head!
Clang! Clang! Squelch!
Three distinct sounds rang out.
Vir’s arm had actually been injured.
That surprised him slightly.
But breaking through his Armament Haki was meaningless.
His body’s natural durability was just as formidable.
He didn’t even flinch.
Didn’t even tremble.
The result made Doberman’s eyes widen in shock!
What…?
Three Rankyaku attacks…
And that’s all they did?
Impossible!
How could this be?!
Though his mind screamed countless questions—
“Shigan: Lightning Pierce!”
As Vir’s electrified Shigan pierced into his skull, all he had left was fear.
He gathered a massive amount of Armament Haki in a desperate attempt to defend himself.
But the result did not change.
Vir was far beyond his level.
His fear didn’t last long.
Vir’s voice rang out once more.
“Lightning Burst!”
BOOM!!
A deafening explosion erupted!
Doberman’s head burst apart in an instant!
Blood, brain matter, and fragments of skull splattered everywhere!
The deck was instantly drenched in gore.
Not far away, Onigumo lay motionless, covered in the warm, sickening liquid.
Feeling it on his face, his expression shifted from shock to utter horror!
Terror quickly replaced confusion!
What… just happened?
In the span of two seconds—
What just happened?!
Doberman…
Doberman… he’s dead?
Killed in just two moves?
That’s impossible…
Wasn’t that guy supposed to be on the verge of death?
With wounds that severe, how could he still have such monstrous strength?!
Is he even human?!
As Onigumo trembled in terror, Vir slowly walked toward him.
At that moment, Onigumo’s frightened gaze turned into sheer dread!
As if he had witnessed something truly nightmarish.
With every step Vir took toward him—
The gruesome scars covering his body rapidly healed!
His collapsed chest gradually filled out.
His nearly severed right leg reconnected, mending itself.
His missing jaw regenerated, piece by piece.
The exposed right-side teeth disappeared as his face restored itself.
What is this…
What the hell is this…
How could such a thing be possible?!
How did he do it?!
His wounds... Why did they heal so fast?!
The fear in Onigumo's eyes grew more and more intense!
In the end, he couldn't take it anymore. He turned around and ran straight toward the nearby battleship!
Seeing this, Vir didn’t stop him.
Since he had disengaged from the battle…
Might as well take the opportunity to recover more.
Otherwise, he wouldn't feel safe at all.
Vir's Observation Haki had already noticed Jozu on the nearby ship.
The Whitebeard Pirates really arrived just in time.
Otherwise, Chopper and the others would have been in real danger.
It was all thanks to that big guy.
If given the chance, Vir would definitely help him improve his strength.
While recovering, Vir walked over and unlocked everyone's handcuffs one by one.
At times like this, his shaping ability could rival Ryuo.
A mere touch was all it took.
The Seastone cuffs crumbled instantly.
After finishing everything, Vir vanished from the spot in an instant.
The battle was still ongoing.
But time waited for no one.
He had to get everyone out of here quickly.
Akainu’s overwhelming strength had already been demonstrated perfectly.
That wasn’t someone he could compete with.
At this moment, Robin, who was collapsed on the ground with tears streaming down her face, watched Vir’s figure as he appeared on the distant battleship.
Her tears fell once more.
In just a single day…
Robin had lost count of how many times she had cried.
How... did she become like this?
She used to never cry, no matter what.
So why couldn’t she control her tears now?
Why…?
Tears of joy kept falling, yet no one could answer Robin’s question.
Yet, the answer to all of this had already been reflected in her eyes over and over again...
---
"Damn it! How about you fight your daddy Jozu head-on! Running away after one hit isn't what a hero if justice does!"
Jozu shouted loudly.
He had been fighting all this time, and now he was completely pissed off.
The longer the battle dragged on, the more annoyed he got.
These Marines were toying with him like he was a dog.
He was on the verge of exploding with rage!
Hearing his words, Momonga and the other Vice Admirals smirked.
If he’s mad, that means we’re doing a good job.
They were about to taunt him further when a disheveled figure crashed onto the deck.
"Help! Help!"
"Hurry! Get out of here! That guy is a monster!"
The moment Onigumo landed, he shouted in terror.
His face was filled with panic.
But his words left everyone else utterly confused.
Huh?
What’s this riddle talk?
Who the hell is "that guy"?
"Didn’t the Straw Hats lose the ability to fight back? Why do you look so beat up?"
"Where’s Doberman?"
Momonga asked while still holding off Jozu.
But before Onigumo could respond, a ghostly voice echoed clearly through the battlefield.
"He's already dead."
The moment those words were spoken—
Everything froze in an instant!
Even both sides in the middle of battle suddenly halted.
Jozu and everyone else turned toward the ship’s bow.
Vir stood on the railing, his gaze calm as he looked down at them.
The moment Jozu saw him, his eyes lit up!
This was exactly the guy he was looking for!
He hadn’t seen him earlier and thought maybe he wasn’t around.
Good.
That meant if things got too bad, he could just take this guy and escape.
If these Marines wanted to stop them…
They’d better think twice.
At the very least, his mission was now secured.
Jozu felt a huge wave of relief.
On the Marine side, Momonga looked at the utterly disheveled Onigumo and an ominous premonition began to creep into his heart. Doberman was still absent.
Did this guy… really defeat both Onigumo and Doberman in such a short time?
And even kill one of them…?
How was that possible?!
"Brat! What did you just say? What happened to Doberman?!"
Momonga’s expression darkened as he questioned.
Vir, however, remained as indifferent as ever and calmly replied:
"I killed him."
"What?!"
Momonga immediately let out a shocked cry.
He turned to Onigumo, who was frantically nodding his head, and his heart sank.
This guy… really killed Doberman!
And so quickly!
This already proved just how terrifyingly strong he was.
Momonga’s face grew even more serious.
This was bad…
If Vir was this powerful, then if he and Jozu teamed up, they could wipe out all the Marines here and send them to a watery grave!
After all, Jozu had just said it himself—
Vir was a friend of the Whitebeard Pirates.
The two of them working together was the most natural thing in the world.
No, he had to think of a solution!
Otherwise, they would really die here!
Meanwhile, Jozu—
At first, he had just been watching the show with amusement.
But Vir’s words just now made his massive, basketball-sized head struggle to process.
What did he just say? Someone died?
A Vice Admiral…?
You gotta be kidding me.
If he remembered correctly, this guy’s bounty was only around 200 million, right?
That was also the reason he was sent to pick him up.
And now you’re telling me that in less than a minute, he took down two Vice Admirals, killing one and severely wounding the other?!
Bro—
Are you messing with me?!
Why was I even sent here in the first place?
Am I protecting you, or are you protecting me?
If you’re this strong, doesn’t that make me look dumb?!
Though Jozu was speechless, he was also pleased with Vir’s strength.
After all, to them, Vir was already a friend.
Forget Whitebeard for a moment—
Just the fact that he had treated Ace and even helped him grow stronger was more than enough to earn their gratitude.
A doctor being this strong? That was great!
Otherwise, they’d have to assign people to protect him.
And that would be such a hassle, right?
