OP Doctor - Ch 120
🕑 Added 2025-03-24 16:05:02 +0000 UTCChapter 120: Bullying the Weak? Now It’s My Turn!
He actually wanted to kill Chopper outright just to save time!
So he could rush ahead and take down Vir.
This was the way of the hardline faction within the Marines.
Ruthless, merciless.
Pirates deserved to die!
And what was a mere reindeer aboard a pirate ship?
Killing it wouldn’t change anything.
Not far away, Robin, watching the anxious expression on Onigumo’s face as he urgently charged forward, felt her desperation reach its peak.
Yet she was powerless to do anything.
But when she turned her head and saw that Chopper was about to be slain—
Her eyes widened in an instant.
No…
No, no, no!
Don’t!
Don’t do it!
"Chopper!!!"
Robin’s desperate scream tore through the battlefield!
But no one paid her any heed.
The faces of the two vice admirals even carried a hint of mockery.
Yet Robin didn’t notice.
Because the moment those words left her mouth—
The seemingly lifeless Vir, lying right in front of her—
His broken heart suddenly gave a powerful thump…
In Robin’s despair-filled gaze, Doberman’s blade was already inches from Chopper’s throat!
But just then—
Vir, who had been lying motionless before Robin—
Vanished!
At the same time—
Shlck!
The sound of a long blade slicing through flesh echoed!
Robin, who had been staring intently at Chopper’s side, suddenly froze, her eyes widening in shock.
Her hands instinctively covered her mouth.
Because, right in front of Chopper—
A figure had appeared.
And that figure—
Was none other than Vir!
Even in an unconscious state, he had broken through space itself.
No deliberate movement.
No awareness.
No thoughts.
Just instinct.
Just a feeling.
And he had appeared in front of Chopper.
But the reason Robin’s eyes widened wasn’t just because Vir had suddenly arrived.
At that very moment, Doberman’s long blade had deeply embedded itself into Vir’s right thigh!
Nearly severing his unguarded leg entirely.
Doberman, seeing Vir appear before him, instantly showed a look of delight.
Ha!
What luck!
Delivered right to my doorstep!
Seems like today isn’t all bad after all!
Glory!
Glory is mine!
With that thought, Doberman withdrew his blade and swung it straight for Vir’s neck!
Behind him, Onigumo watched with a hint of frustration.
What the hell…
How did this happen…
What kind of luck is this?
Why did that guy practically hand over his own head?
Why couldn’t he have just handed it to me instead?
But just as that thought crossed his mind, a sharp metallic clang rang out.
Clang~~!
What the—?
He turned toward the sound.
And what he saw would be forever burned into his memory.
Sparks of lightning crackled continuously around Vir’s body.
His eyes finally opened!
And he gazed at Doberman with an eerie calm.
Doberman’s blade—
Was clamped tightly between Vir’s exposed teeth!
Vir was awake.
Just moments before, he had been forcefully ejected and slammed by the distorted spatial energy.
So hard that even his heart had stopped beating.
Under normal circumstances, this shouldn’t have happened.
The exit point of a spatial door was usually safe.
But Vir’s luck had been nothing short of terrible!
Just as he was leaving, he got struck with one last devastating hit.
So much so that he was practically on death’s doorstep, bodily functions shutting down on the spot—
Well, not quite...
But he was damn close to dying.
His body’s recovery had been delayed for several seconds, focusing solely on keeping him alive.
It hadn’t even begun healing his injuries yet.
Then, Robin’s desperate cry for Chopper had triggered an instinctual response from Vir.
And it was only after taking Doberman’s attack that his consciousness fully returned.
The moment he regained awareness, Vir immediately started shocking himself with electricity.
But his regenerative ability had been interrupted.
So by now, only his head could move.
But that didn’t mean he was powerless!
He could still use his lightning!
The only problem—
His stamina was critically low.
Now, Vir fully grasped the situation around him.
He had been randomly transported back to his own ship.
Well, wasn’t that something…
Was this good luck or bad luck?
But the current state of things made him furious.
Everyone had been captured, the Going Merry was badly damaged, and Chopper had nearly lost his life.
And these Marine vice admirals really dared to go this far…
Doberman was now on Vir’s must-kill list.
To lay a hand on Chopper!
He would hunt him down, no matter how far!
No one harms Chopper!
Not now, not ever!
But to turn this around—
There was only one option.
The system.
Right now, he had a whopping 900,000 negative points saved up.
Originally, he had planned to save up to upgrade the system.
But given this absolute mess of a situation—
Saving up would have to wait.
Only problem was, his hands couldn’t move yet.
The system always delivered items directly into his medical kit.
He had to regain control of his hands first.
And as for what he needed—
Vir had already made his decision.
‘Life Elixir (Perfect Grade) · An Early Work of the Holy Flame Apothecary’
Price: 500,000
Effect: Can be consumed directly or absorbed through the skin. Instantly restores 20% of health. (In this world, restores one-fifth of injuries.)
Evaluation: A perfect creation by the Holy Flame Apothecary. His potions are as reliable as his swordsmanship!
Seeing the elixir, Vir’s confidence surged.
Without hesitation, he bought it.
At that moment, Doberman and Onigumo finally snapped out of their shock.
Doberman was completely stunned.
He had just used his full strength.
Yet this guy actually caught it with his teeth?
How much power did that take?!
Was this a joke?
And the Armament Haki on those teeth looked extraordinary!
How long had it even been?
This guy’s strength had advanced to this level in such a short time.
Back during the meeting, he thought deploying Vice Admirals was overkill.
But now, looking at this, even dispatching an Admiral wouldn’t have been too much!
Both Doberman and Onigumo had the same thought at that moment.
"This guy cannot be allowed to live!"
The two immediately launched an attack on Vir.
Doberman tried to draw his longsword.
But he failed.
He had no choice but to clench his fist and swing at Vir!
His fist was coated in pitch-black Armament Haki.
Onigumo attacked at the same time, his longsword thrusting straight for Vir’s heart.
No hesitation whatsoever.
They only had one goal—kill Vir.
Capturing him alive was never part of the plan.
The fear in Robin's eyes was almost overflowing.
Her heart had been on a rollercoaster ride.
Seeing Vir in danger once again, she was terrified that he might be killed.
These people had no intention of holding back.
But she was powerless.
The Seastone handcuffs bound her completely.
God… if you really exist…
For the first time in years, Robin sent out a silent prayer in her mind.
In her twenty years of fleeing, God had never shown her any favor.
But now, for Vir’s sake, she prayed to the very God she had cursed countless times before.
It was the only thing—the only thing—she could do.
Just as the two attacks were about to land on Vir—
“Lightning Cannon!”
Vir unleashed this powerful repelling technique.
At this moment, he only had enough strength for a single Lightning Cannon.
It was his only choice.
He had to use this move.
Repel them.
Buy time.
He was still desperately trying to restart his paralyzed arm.
If he could move it, he could reach into his medical kit and grab that perfect-grade elixir.
Then he could crush it in an instant.
The two Vice Admirals, almost face-to-face with Vir, suddenly saw a bright flash of blinding light.
Instinctively, they closed their eyes.
But in the next moment, an overwhelming force slammed into them!
The powerful impact sent them flying backward at an incredible speed.
They only came to a stop after crashing into a Marine warship behind them.
Even Momousagi had been blasted away by this move.
Naturally, they were no exception.
This technique’s greatest strengths were its speed and sheer impact force.
So fast that the enemy had no time to react.
If the opponent had the chance to defend, the effectiveness of the move would be greatly reduced.
It was like getting hit by a high-speed train before realizing what was happening.
As soon as they steadied themselves, the two immediately used Geppo to rush back at full speed.
They didn’t know what Vir was planning.
But they knew one thing—hesitation leads to disaster!
Less than a second later, they were back on the Going Merry!
But at this moment, Vir’s arm still needed at least two more seconds to regain movement.
And in two seconds, his head would likely be separated from his body.
But it didn’t matter.
Who said he could only use his hands?
Suddenly, the surrounding lightning elements gathered around Vir’s right hand!
In an instant, a lightning glove covered Vir's right hand.
Although he couldn't use any techniques.
Simply manipulating lightning elements didn't consume stamina!
With the lightning glove formed, Vir manipulated the lightning, moving his right hand instantly!
It functioned just like a prosthetic limb!
Open the medkit!
Grab the elixir!
The moment he crushed it, the lightning dispersed!
The liquid touched his palm, and in the blink of an eye, it was gone.
At that very moment, Vir’s stamina and physical state recovered by twenty percent!
Feeling his previously depleted energy and battered body instantly recover by a significant margin, Vir finally felt relief.
Looking at the two Vice Admirals charging at him again, Vir’s lips curled into a smirk.
So, they liked bullying the weak, huh?
Well then…
Now it was his turn to bully the weak!
Doberman, his fist raised, saw Vir standing motionless and felt a rush of excitement.
This is it.
This punch is definitely enough to kill him!
If not, Onigumo can finish him off!
This guy has no way to escape!
Doberman felt it was a sure thing now.
As he reached Vir.
He shouted, “Die!”
His right fist smashed forward, aimed directly at Vir’s face!
The sheer force of it even made Onigumo, who was slightly behind him, widen his eyes in surprise.
This guy had been holding back?
If that punch landed on him, even he would suffer serious injuries.
If it hit the guy in front of them, who was already on the verge of death…
His handsome head would be obliterated without a doubt!
Sigh…
Looks like Doberman was going to claim the credit for this one.
Onigumo was still worried about the merits.
It was clear they hadn’t taken Vir seriously at all.
After all—
Vir had looked exactly like someone delivering his own head just moments ago.
Just as Onigumo was lamenting his missed opportunity—
Doberman’s fist, just inches from Vir’s face, was suddenly caught by a firm hand…
