Glad you're enjoying the series so far! Otto von Bismarck is going to be the next series, but there are surprisingly fewer battles being depicted in the way we've approached that series, so hopefully you 19th century political schemes told in our style as well. ;)

I personally liked the portrayal of battles. Positioning of troops, terrain features, even emotions when troops' morale breaks - it's all so damn cute I want more. We need more Imperial Wars era topics if only to get more battles animated like this.

If you want to see a great drunken debacle, check out the Cadiz expedition, which includes not training the expeditionary forces with weapons because they attacked Devon farmers, a drunken mob besieging their own officers, accidentally shooting their own flagship with a cannon, not even attacking their objective, One of the critical losses of the Swedish supplies was the powder. After the loss of his supplies, Charles's troops were using half of the powder that a normal shot would need, robbing his troops of vital combat potential.
