Extra History

I really enjoyed a book called 1177 BC: The Year Civilization Collapsed. I don't do nearly as deep a dive as James does with these things, but I try to read up a little so I can follow along with the history, and this book was perfect for getting me that good grounding. -Soraya

Can you recommend a good book on the Bronze Age collapse, or else the Bronze Age in general? It seems like an interesting topic, and I'd like to learn more.

It's a little further out than that - the series take a lot of time to make (they look simple, but it's a lot of research + a lot of animation time) - so this next vote will be for a series that launches in early 2018, probably in February. The vote is up now, however!

So, shortly after the end of a series they'll put out a post on patron (and send an email to everyone in the right tier). That patron post will contain a link to a poll where you can place a vote for every series option that you think looks interesting. Whichever topic gets the most votes in the end will win.
