WIP Rare Women Introductions
🕑 Added 2025-01-17 20:00:02 +0000 UTCI've slowly been working on porting over the models for the ghosts/rare women over to Blender so I can put them into the game. Been a while since I've done a real WIP post, so I thought it would be fun to do a short one real quick introducing them. They haven't been completely finished, posed, or properly lit yet. No optimization or rigging or anything yet, the models are just in Blender so far. But this is what they look like.
I've already introduced Raven and Aviva, as well as talked about Young Shiori and Cougar Kaori, so here's a couple more!
Meet Maddie -
Maddie is a witch from a dimension that has magic. Outside of her green skin and magic, she's a normal human. She's able to stay young by stealing the youth of young women. All because she's a total slut who is addicted to cum of course! She wants to stay young forever so she'll always be desired by men and can always have sex.
Inspirations -
Maddie has two main inspirations, She-Hulk and then sexy Grunty from Banjo Kazooie. I made some changes, but overall the idea is sexy green witch. Maddie is a lot different then the original vision I had for her when she was made. Originally, she was just going to be a normal character. Specifically, she was going to be a secretary. The idea was for other skin colors to just kind of be normal. That game idea is scrapped, so instead I reworked her to fit into the sexy witch idea. I ported her into Blender with multiple outfits, so she may make another appearance. If not in WW, then maybe in an animation. She's got her latex outfit (pictured), 2 dresses (one purple, one black), and then her original secretary outfit.
I even have some renders from her original game idea. These were made in Daz, so I wont be using them for Waifu Wonderland. But it is a bit of a waste to not share anything from the game. I have a WIP build of the game, so maybe one day I'll share it for fun. But for now, I hope you enjoy these old renders.
This is from when you first meet her.
And then here's one of her scenes.
Meet Agnes -
Agnes is an older widow who is using her golden years to prey on younger men. She inherited a lot of money from her husband when he died, and lives a very lavish lifestyle.
Inspirations -
There isn't a specific inspiration for this one. I just wanted an older classy looking cougar. I like the design of the current model, but I'm not sure she really looks old enough. I may end up going back and editing the textures to make her look a little older.
Meet Helena -
The last of the 3D rare women, at least for now, is Helena!
I know I've at least mentioned Helena, but I don't think I've actually talked about her. So here she is!
Helena is a jaded college girl. She's going to school because her parents made her, and isn't taking it very seriously. She'll take any excuse to take a break from studying or to skip class. Lucky for you, that includes letting you into seduction mode!
But Helena has a dark secret. Despite her jaded personality, she's actually a successful Vtuber known for being bubbly and optimistic.
Inspiration -
Helena is another that doesn't have a direct inspiration. I just thought it would be fun to have a sort of stereotypical jaded goth girl type that has a double life as a cutesy bubbly anime girl.
Meet Riley -
And lastly, we have Riley!
Riley is a free spirit who always does what makes her happy. It can make her a bit unpredictable, but it always makes for a memorable time.
Inspiration -
Riley is easily the least developed here, and is from an idea I had for another project. With Waifu Wonderland potentially ending, I wanted another project to work on. One of the ideas was a 2D animated VN. The problem is that I didn't really have an art style for it. So I decided to throw together something that leaned into all of my more natural strengths as an artist that was also simple enough that I'd be able to animate it. That way it wouldn't take too long to do scenes. So I did a couple of tests, and really like the art style. I especially liked how incredibly quick I was able to make an illustration. Even though I was figuring things out as I went, it took me less than 2 hours to do this illustration. Which is faster than some 3D renders. Of course, I realized about halfway through the test that it's basically just the Archer art style with the realistic proportions, cel shading, and bold outline, but I still really like it.
I had considered further developing the idea, but ultimately decided against it. I don't want to be working on two 2D games at the same time. Since working on one would be taking time away from the other. Instead I'll be working on a 3D animated game, like I mentioned before. I'm still working on the details, but I'll have more info on that soon. So since Riley wasn't going to be used in her own game, instead, I decided to go back to an older idea I had for Waifu Wonderland, where I would include multiple art styles. We've already got 3D women as ghosts, so having other 2D art styles makes sense too. The beauty of Waifu Wonderland is how flexible the game world is. So if people end up really liking Riley and this art style, I can always add more and even basically include the original game idea into Waifu Wonderland as a side story. Or being a ghost from another dimension, I can always just make a game in that world as something completely separate too. For now, I'm focused on Waifu Wonderland though, and would only do something like that if I can't keep making WW.
As for more direct design references, I combined two of my favorite women to use as references with my favorite type, thicc goth girl. I'd say who the inspirations are, but since they're real people, I think it's best not to.
That's not all! -
There's still one more rare women that I'm including, but I don't have any artwork for her made, and don't want to spend the time to do it right now. But all 10 were able to be implemented! When I included Goth Seika, I included the coding to spawn up to 10 rare women. So implementing went very quickly, even faster than I was expecting. So instead of just including 4 and then maybe coming back to include the other 5 later, like I had originally planned, I just included them all. It was ultimately quicker and easier that way. The last character will remain a mystery for now though. I'm planning on making them in the same artstyle as Riley, because it would be weird if she was the only character in that style. But that's all I'll reveal for now.
As a quick update, this is where I'm at -
Add final lab character (done)
Do lab ending (done)
Finish Angela's storyline (in progress)
Add pregnancy and new scene for working girls (done)
Add new scenes and outfits for Rinko, Freya, and Aoyagi (in progress)
Add 4 more rare women (done)
Add Random Beach Babes (in progress)
Open the Hospital with Random Nurses
Finish the office building and add the Office job and Random Office Ladies
Add Seika's final scene and pregnancy
Add Minori (Akari's daughter) and her storyline
Add the rest of the MMC characters and storyline
Add collectable sets into the hospital and office building
Getting through the list pretty quickly so far. I started jumping around a bit, because it was just a drag doing some stuff non-stop, and it was a bit demotivating. So to ensure I kept working as much as possible, I started jumping around. To make things more interesting, I'm also tying some of the content together. That way you don't just kind of get things, there's a quest attached and it feels more earned. I'm getting more and more confident I'll be able to get through all of this with time to spare.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the peak at some of the upcoming ghosts/rare women!
